A/N: I'm sorry for not updating sooner- I've had some health issues that have have prevented me from writing. I hope you stay with me. There is so much more story to tell! I also have to thank my readers and reviewers so much- in five years of writing this story has become my most reviewed one ever! It means so much to know that the story I wanted to tell has been appreciated. Not only that, it is one of my top five most read stories ever as well, with over 11000 (11000! hits!) thanks again, and to anyone who's taken the time to read or comment or follow, thank you so much. It means so much to me. It really does.
Marie wanted to go straight home and head for the bed, but for some reason she felt the need to go visit Skylar, Flynn and Holly. Not that things were great between her and Skylar, but sometimes no matter what, a woman just needed her sister.
This was one of those times.

"I wanted to check on Flynn and Holly. They're not here?" Marie questioned, her hand still on the door. Even though she knew that she needed Skylar, she wasn't ready to admit that to her sister, not quite yet.
"Holly's asleep. She wasn't feeling well last night- and Flynn's in his room."
"On that computer again?"
Skylar smiled. "With Lindsay."
Marie stared at her. "You let your son- your teenage son whose hormones are just now starting to kick in- hang out in his room with a girl?"
"It's not like that. We had a talk. The door's open. Always open. You can check on them if you like."
"Don't think I won't," Marie huffed, ready to set her nephew straight about what was proper.
But when she got to the door, something stopped her in her tracks. It was Flynn. He was talking about Hank. Eavesdropping was wrong, of course, but she just had to hear what her nephew had to say.
"Tell me about him, your uncle," Lindsay coaxed. "You don't have to, of course, but I thought it might help. I've been told I'm a good listener."
Marie strained to hear Flynn's response. "He was- he was pretty cool. He was always there for me. He was funny, too! Sometimes he would say something really bad and it would make me laugh and my aunt Marie would give him the dirtiest look! She...she acted really mad but I knew ...and I think my uncle Hank knew- she, she really couldn't stay mad at him. It was funny."
Marie couldn't help but break into a smile. That was both her and Hank, to a tee.
"One..one time," Flynn continued. "Uncle Hank, he got kind of famous. He was all over the news. So he had a party for us at our house where we could all see him on tv. He was...he was showing Walt his gun, and then Uncle Hank unloaded it and let me see it. It was so cool," Flynn laughed.
Marie just shook her head, remembering just how impulsive her husband could be.
"There was one time, my mom...my mom I don't think she knows exactly what happened. But my family, the grownups were sitting outside drinking. And my...Walt, he handed me a drink. I-I didn't know what to do!"
Lindsay seemed to giggle, but what Marie wanted to know was what happened next.
"Any..anyways," Flynn went on. "Walt, he kept giving me all these drinks! Finally my Uncle Hank got pretty mad, he was cool though. He..he just took the bottle from him. Walt got so mad! I'd never seen him get mad at Uncle Hank like that. They stared at each other...my d..Walt was pretty rude. I guess Walt started arguing with him, but then I ..I started puking in the pool. My...mom and Aunt Marie, they thought it was the potato salad or something," Flynn laughed.
"Bet you'll never drink again," Lindsay teased.
"Never! Sometimes...sometimes my parents kind of treated me like I was a baby or something. My mom...I love her but she knew what was going on, and she...she didn't tell me."
"Flynn, I'm sure she was only trying to protect you."
"I guess. But my Uncle Hank- he never..he never talked down to me. Sometimes he would say bad words,. And it would make me laugh and my mom and Aunt Marie would get so mad at him!"
By this time, Skylar had joined Marie in the hallway, and they were all smiling thinking of some of the not necessarily greater characteristics of Hank, but what made him him and they all loved him for it anyways.
"He sounds like he was a pretty fun guy," Lindsay sympathized.
"Yeah. That's why...I don't understand how my...how Walt could do that to him! He was always a great guy, he loved my Aunt Marie and us. He used to...he used to take me aside so Aunt Marie couldn't hear him, and he'd tell me that ...if I were lucky enough to get a pretty lady...like Aunt Marie...I'd better not do something stupid and mess it up."
Skylar put her arm around Marie, and they walked to the living room. Marie's eyes were filled with tears, but to be honest, it was kind of nice to hear how special her husband had been. For better or for worse, Hank had been one-of-a-kind.
"She's a great young lady," Skylar spoke up, referring to Lindsay.
"Yeah. Flynn's something else himself. I don't know how you did it.." Marie started, not sure if she wanted to open up to Skylar like this. But she decided to anyways. "I mean, we all know- you knew better than almost anyone what a monster Walt was-but Flynn- he's so sweet. He tries so hard to be a good boy. I hope," she patted her stomach. "I hope this little guy turns out as great as his cousin."
Skylar placed her hand over Marie's and she looked at her. "He's going to be fine. You'll see. We'll all make sure your boy knows what his daddy was like. And I know-I know!- without a doubt you're going to make a hell of a mother."
Marie's eyes met her, and then she shocked them both by reaching over to embrace Skylar.
"Aunt Marie!" Flynn and Lindsay walked over to join them. "My-mom said you were going to buy baby stuff today. Did you...did you get the crib?"
Marie shook her head.
"I can...I can go with you if you like. Lindsay's always telling me I dress nice and stuff- maybe I can help you find some stuff for Henry."
Marie looked at him curiously. "Henry?"
Flynn looked down. "That's...that's what I've been calling the baby. I hope you're not mad..."
"Oh, honey," Marie walked over and hugged him. "That's perfect. It really is."
"Flynn...I'll see you later, okay! It's nice seeing you two again. If I can help you out, drive you anywhere, watch Holly..." Lindsay offered.
The two sisters smiled. "Thanks. I'm sure we'll take you up on that sometime soon."
Pretty soon everyone but Skylar and Holly had left. It was going to be a good day, Skylar thought as she walked to pick up her daughter.
