Sorry everyone! I know it has been a long while since I last updated... A lot has been going on D;
So much school and everything, if anyone has any ideas on what I should add into my story in the newer chapters, let me know 3 thank you!
Chapter 4 – Imprinting?
I shook my head slightly, trying to regain my composure, yeah sure there was this good looking guy who was standing on the other side of the fire, but that didn't mean he was looking at me or even wanting to know me. Sighing softly, I looked over at Paul and pushed his arm off my shoulders, "I am not sure what you're talking about... I am more then likely going to be coming around a lot because of Seth and Leah." Paul looked down at me and smirked, "Well then, I guess Jake will be coming around more often, I have a feeling you two are going to be inseparable." He then got up, leaving me sitting on the log confused, 'why would he think that...' Leah placed her hand on my knee and smiled slightly, she didn't seem like she was too happy, "I am glad you like it here so far..." She looked off into the fire, sighing. I looked down at my ankle, wishing that I were able to walk around without needing any kind of help. "Well Leah... how about tomorrow the two of us do something? Maybe we should go out to that Diner we use to always go to before I moved away with my dad?" Leah looked up at me and smiled widely, "Well that sounds like a plan!" I giggled softly, as I turned to look at this man I was so captivated by.
I searched through the people who were sitting around the bonfire, not finding him anywhere. 'well... guess he wasn't going to be staying much longer..'
"Mind if I sit here?"
I turned around to look up at the tall, buff russet man that I was so interested in, I felt my cheeks warm up as I blushed deeply, nodding quickly and looking back into the fire, trying to get my cheeks to stop giving me away. He chuckled softly, taking a seat on the log beside me, 'God his voice is just as intoxicating as his smell...What!? Why the hell am I thinking like that... I never, ever, ever, do this..' I didn't seem to realize that Jacob was trying to talk to me until his hand was waving in my face. Shaking my head I looked up at him, blushing, "I am sorry... I kinda zoned out on you..." He smiled at me and rubbed the back of his neck, "Oh no worries, we all do it.. I was just wondering what happened to your ankle?" I looked down at the wrap around my ankle, "I was out in the woods earlier today... deciding to take a little hike around the area like I use to... I ended up losing my footing and falling. I was lucky that Seth was following me and caught me..." I bit my lip and sighed, mumbling to myself "I swear I saw a huge wolf too..."
Jacob looked at me slightly confused and then over to Seth who shrugged, "Well at least your okay now... I am Jacob by the way... but they probably already told you." I smiled up at him and nodded, "Yupp, Paul told me already, but he was all weird about it..." I bit my lip slightly as I played around with the hem of my shirt, "My name is Serenity..." Jacob's face lit up as soon as I told him my name, I never knew that my name would make someone so happy, he looked like he had just won the lottery. I giggled slightly, waving a hand in front of his face, "Earth to Jake!" He looked at me slightly confused and blushed, "Well looks like it was my turn... What brings you back to La Push?" Jake smiled and rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment. "Well... Things were getting bad with my dad... he was going through a tough time and I was worried about him... I decided to get out of his hair and come here to live with my aunt and two wonderful cousins until he gets his stuff worked out... .gives him a break from worrying so much about me."
A tap on my shoulder, brought me back to reality, "Serenity! I have been trying to get your attention for the past three minutes. Do you and Jake want to come off your little dream cloud and have some marshmallows with the rest of us?" I blushed deep red as I looked over at Leah, who was annoyed with me. I bit my bottom lip and nodded, "Marshmallows would be nice..." She sighed and handed me the bag that was being tossed around, with two sticks to use. I grabbed two marshmallows and placed them onto my stick before handing the bag and second stick to Jacob. Leaning forward, I started to cook my marshmallows, humming softly to myself, "Thanks." Jake smiled and did the same but instead of two marshmallows, he ended up placing 7 in a row on his stick. I looked up at him like he were crazy and laughed, "You like your marshmallows huh?" He gave me a cheeky grin and nodded.
~Leahs POV~
Sighing softly, I ate my marshmallow as I kept an eye on my cousin. I was a little pissed off that Jake decided to finally come back from being so upset about Bella and he IMPRINTS on my cousin. What in the world gave him the right to do such a thing! He probably was just going to use her or try to keep her while he goes after Bella. Oh is he dares hurt her in anyway, he will lose what makes him a man. I got up and tossed my stick to the ground, walking over to where the tables were set up to grab myself a drink. I leaned on the table and watched Serenity laugh and talk to Jake.
"I am happy that Ren is probably going to be staying out here in Forks..." I looked over to see Seth, standing beside me with a big smile on his face.
Shaking my head, I took a quick swig out of my can of Pepsi, "Well... I just hope for Jacobs sake, he doesn't do anything to hurt her... Or else he will be less of a man then he already is..." I growled slightly, a small tremor going through my body. Seth placed a hand on my shoulder and laughed, "Calm down Leah, I think everything will be alright... at least he didn't runaway as soon as he imprinted. I believe this is a good thing, he is sitting with her, getting to know her.."
"Maybe your right... I still don't trust him after all this drama and running away because of the leech lover..." I ran a hand through my hair and closed my eyes briefly, I have been so exhausted lately. The patrols have become more frequent now that the red head kept making appearances. The only reason why all of this has happened was because of those Cullens anyway. 'If they weren't around... there could have been a possibility that Sam and I would still be together...' It had been a few years since Sam had imprinted on Emily, sure I was depressed and angry at both of them. But after changing and finding out about what had happened, I knew there was nothing I could do or change. Sure being able to hear and see all of Sam's private thoughts hurt and pissed me off beyond belief but after seeing Jared's thoughts, I understand slightly how the imprint works.
I looked up at the night sky and sighed, wrapping my arm around Seth's shoulders, whispering to him slightly, "Do you think that the both of us will ever imprint..." Seth looked over at me with a sad look, "I really hope so...I hope we don't end up being the ones who don't end up imprinting..." I nodded, hugging him slightly before I made my way back to the bonfire, sitting down and staring into the flame, 'I hope that day comes soon...'

As you can see, I am hinting at a possible new character, expecially for Leah to imprint, I am not 100% sure of how I will add this into the story but I am just excited about adding him in. Anyway! Favorite and Review 3
