Jason glared at the Joker. He trembled ever so slightly; memories flooding back into his head of their last encounter.
The Joker sauntered forward, a manic grin on his face. "How have you been, pumpkin?" Jason glared but otherwise remained quiet. Make this sentence a paragraph by itself.))
"Awh, don't be silent! It's been such a loooong time! The last time we met, we had so much fun together! Imagine my surprise when I find out you're still alive! Did you miss me? I certainly missed you!" Joker's voice boomed.
The manic leaned forward, his face mere inches from Jason's. Then the man leaned back and looked Jason over, assessing his current injuries, and grinned widely. "Hm, seems the party has started without me! Don't worry though; we will have so much fun! Just me and you. What do you say?"
With that comment in air, the crazy man pulled a pocket knife out of his coat. "Let's start, shall we?"

Nightwing looked at his team in anticipation, waiting for their reactions on what Batman had just revealed to them.
"It's your choice if you want to help or not," Batman said coolly. If not, then leave now. If so, then let's get going. Jason's time is running out."
The team had mixed reactions. Aqualad, Artemis, and Superboy looked determined. Megan, and Wally looked horrified but with a glint of anger: anger at the Joker.
"I'm in," Aqualad and Superboy said at the same time. Megan shakily nodded her head. Wally grinned lopsidedly, then agreed. Everyone looked at Artemis. She narrowed her eyes, then said, "Let's get this son-of-a-bitch"
Batman said nothing, but was silently pleased. "Let's go."

Blood dripped from various parts of Jason's body. He gritted his teeth as the Joker added yet another cut to his arm, then a deep one to his leg.
The Joker sighed a long-suffering sigh, and with a pout said he was getting bored with this and dropped the knife, then suddenly started laughing manically, and ran out of the room with an evil glint in his eyes.
Jason mentally sighed in relief, thinking it was over, but oh how wrong was he. He sagged a bit in his bindings, and closed his eyes, wincing a bit as his recent and old wounds stung.
Then his eyes snapped open, as he remembered the pocket knife the Joker had left behind. His eyes scanned the dark room and spotted it mere feet away. He struggled once again in a vain attempt to get out of the torturous chair he was chained to, but the damn ropes were too tight.
'Damn it! Come on!' And suddenly he felt hope as the ropes on his left leg started to loosen. 'Yes, yes, yes! Come on, just a little more!' And then his leg was free. He quickly stretched it forward, wincing as it ached from the cuts and bruises it had received mere minutes before.
His foot was so close to the knife he could cry. He stretched just a bit more, and yes! He was able to bring it a little closer, and once it was just a little closer he could flip it up onto his foot, from there get it into his hands and get the hell out of there!
As he got it balanced on his foot, the door slammed open, ruining his concentration. The knife dropped to the floor. Jason slammed his foot back to the chair hoping to hell that whoever came hadn't seen what he was doing.
He heard footsteps come closer. As he looked up, he saw a man wearing a Joker mask come to him. Then, without a word, he untied him, lifting him up to his feet. Jason slammed his head back, and hit the man square in his nose. The Joker henchman dropped him for a brief second, and then just as quickly grabbed him again, his mask cracking slightly.
The man then punched him in the stomach. Jason quietly cried out, and lost his breath. Without another second's waste, the man tugged at his arm roughly, and dragged him out of the room.
Unnoticed by the henchman, Jason smirked. Hidden behind his back in his hand was the pocket knife. All it took was a second to grab it off the floor. A second that could possibly save his life in the future.
