The Captain stood in the ruined streets of London, waiting for Walter to appear. He hated this detail. As he was starting to consider falling asleep, he turned to see a somewhat large man standing in front of him. He had heard something of these creatures. They were a species of vampires that sparkled in the sunlight. They were simply able to survive sunlight, and their skin was solid, but overall, they were far too uninteresting for the Major to care about them, and they had less power than a vampire of higher category such as Luke Valentine.

Felix dashed at the Captain, punching him. The Captain recoiled slightly with the impact, but he had been hit far harder in the past. Felix then wrapped his hands around the solemn Captain's neck, attempting to remove his head. Felix struggled, but the Captain was far too solid for Felix to hurt. The Captain easily shoved Felix off, before turning to him and regarding him in a disinterested fashion.

Felix charged again, but the strikes he landed had no effect on the Captain, he simply wasn't strong enough to damage him. The Captain shoved Felix back one-handed, before pointing at him and gesturing to the street in the distance, obviously telling him to leave. Felix charged again, but this time the Captain effortlessly caught him by the neck, stopping him in his tracks. The Major's voice could then be heard over the loudspeakers in the zeppelin.
"You have mere moments before they arrive, Captain. Destroy that insect so you can fulfil your mission."

The Captain tossed Felix to the ground, looking at him with a simple look that told him the next attack would be fatal. Felix, however, was soundly convinced of his own invincibility, and charged again. The Captain, serious for the first time, effortlessly matched Felix's speed, colliding with him and driving his fist straight through the vampire, literally shattering his lower torso and legs, leaving only a head, shoulders and arms. The Captain then jumped into the air, spinning around in midair and slamming his foot into Felix's head, shattering the head, shoulders and arms.

The Captain straightened his uniform, ignoring the pile of dust that had been Felix. He knew Walter and Integra would arrive soon. He wished there was no more need for conflict, and he hoped Integra would survive after Walter became a monster. He stepped on a broken piece that had come from Felix's head, and he quietly expressed distaste. He hoped the war would be over soon, so he could rest. Permanently.
