Hey guys,

so, the plan was to write a 'Christmas special'...didn't work out as planned and I had to split the chapter because it turned out to be too long=D

Merry Christmas everyone!=) And if you don't celebrate it, than Happy Holidays!=)

After half a year Caroline had finally managed to get her mother used to her being together with Niklaus Mikaelson.

Liz hadn't wanted to hear one word about it during the first time. She had treated Caroline as if she had lost her mind and during the process the words 'you're grounded' had slipped her mouth. Caroline had taken a deep breath, because she was sure that if she had laughed out loud, it wouldn't have made things better, but rather worse. It was the only thing that had come to her mother's mind, a reflex reaction, to keep control over her daughter. Liz had realised the irony of the scene and left without a word.

Klaus hadn't commented, even though she knew how ridiculous it seemed to him, but then again he had never had a relationship to his own mother. The only thing he was still worried about was that Liz might have a too big influence on Caroline. If everyone kept coming at her for their relationship then, he feared that one day she'd give in.

Fear of loss.

He was familiar with it, for he had lost a lot of things over the centuries, but this fear took on a whole new form and it still scared him. Caroline was aware of it, but she didn't speak about it, not yet. She knew that she wanted to stand at his side and maybe some day she would convince him to trust in her.

Caroline thought back about the day when she had sat down with her mum for yet another talk. It happened two months after the dance when Klaus and her had already been in a rather serious commitment. She wouldn't stop until she had convinced her mother about her new relationship and the effort she took in it did nibble at Liz' heart. Her daughter had hardly ever been so consistent about anything in her life. She just had to take one look at her and knew that she wouldn't let it go.

So she had agreed that they sat down in the living room with coffee once again.

"Mum, I know you hate him, but it would mean a lot to me of you would give him a chance!"

"Caroline, that is not so easy! The fact that you are still alive is…I am sorry, I shouldn't have said that!" Caroline's face fell. Klaus wouldn't hurt her. "I am just scared that one day you will get hurt over something he does! I don't want you to get dragged into whatever darkness he is concocting!"

Caroline sighed. "He is no Moriarty! Mum, he wouldn't hurt me…but I would defend him if I had to."

"You hardly know him!"

"Probably, but tell me how to get to know someone who has been around for a thousand years? It would take at least a decade! I think I know enough."

"So you would already give your life for him after a few months? Caroline…" Her mother was pleading with her to be reasonable, because the fact that Klaus' life might be endangered was common knowledge, everyone seemed to be after his death, if there had been a bounty on his head it would have already reached a billion dollars.

Caroline looked at her hands. Suddenly she felt a bit naive…would she die for him without any restraints? Yes. But was it already legitimate? How much about him did she know?

"Mum, I know this is difficult for you, but…" She played with the hem of her shirt then she let go of it and looked at her mother. "You're right!" Liz raised her eyebrows.

"What?"

"You are right with everything. I don't really know who Klaus is, I have no idea what he is about to do during the next few weeks, he is dark and everyone is always after his life which endangers me and I will probably be dragged into his crap if I stay with him."

Liz swallowed and waited for what was about to happen.

"Only one year ago I would have never doubted that anyone was right to tell me what to do, that I had to only like the good guys. The thing is that I can't help what I am feeling when I am standing next to him. I trust him when he tells me that he would protect me and I believe him when he tells me that he will always tell me the truth." Caroline smiled. "Not only would he. I am not sure about Kol, but Elijah and Rebekah do like me…I think."

Liz sighed.

"He has his good sides! He is not all evil, really!"

"You are happy, aren't you?" Her mother asked in a calm voice.

Caroline nodded. "Yes." She recalled Klaus' dimpled smile. "I am."

Liz scrutinized her. "I know. I can see it. I guess I have already seen it weeks ago."

Caroline asked silently by simply looking at her.

Her mum reached for a strand of her hair. "There is this brightness around you." Caroline smiled. Everyone told her that. "I just don't want you to get hurt!"

The girl covered her mother's hand. "I know, but please mum, don't treat him as the public enemy number one. For my sake, please!"

The sheriff smiled. "Well, he has helped you out some times." Liz covered her hand with hers. "As long as you are happy, I will try to understand."

"Thanks mum. It means a lot to me."

"But!" She raised her finger. "I will have a close eye on him! One wrong step…"

Caroline laughed. "Mum!" The fact that her mother was threatening the immortal hybrid was kind of hilarious.

It got even better when Klaus picked her up that afternoon.

Caroline heard his car before it had turned into their driveway. She smiled to herself. "He's coming. Please be nice!" Liz looked at the ceiling but nodded at her daughter.

Caroline stood up and went to the front door. Klaus had just gotten out of the car and a small crooked smile played around his lips, the way he always looked like when he tried to hide a huge grin.

He made his way up to her and Caroline didn't hide her smile. She couldn't when the butterflies in her stomach tried to escape. She rose onto her tiptoes and pressed a kiss onto his lips. "I hope you are on your best behaviour today!"

Klaus frowned at her when Caroline pulled him into the house, then he raised his eyebrows and Caroline put a pout onto her face which made Klaus roll his eyes. He took a deep breath and walked into the living room. Sometimes there were no words needed between them.

Liz stood with her arms crossed. "Klaus."

He nodded. "Sheriff, it's good to see you."

She acknowledged his words and motioned for him to sit down. "Please, take a seat."

He did and Caroline slipped onto the couch next to him. It was her place. Klaus' lip twitched but she doubted her mother had seen it.

"I don't think we have met under the new circumstances."

Klaus shook his head. "No, I don't think we have."

Liz had a stern look on her face and Klaus kept his one neutral. Caroline could only guess how much of an effort it took him, after all, no small town sheriff could stand a chance against him.

"I do hope you are aware that I will try to protect my daughter and I don't care how old you are."

"And I respect that." Klaus replied. Caroline tried to keep a straight face and she felt Klaus poking her hip. He knew that she found this very amusing.

"So, I expect nothing less from you but to never let any harm come to my daughter. I can only guess how many enemies you have and I don't want Caroline to be involved with a single one of them."

"That makes two of us." Klaus simply answered and Liz knew that he spoke the truth even Caroline felt it, but she was not that naive as to think that it could be avoided, not for long, and she hoped that Klaus was aware of it. He couldn't be that naive! She wasn't!

Liz nodded. "Good, I see we are on the same page after all."

Klaus agreed. "We are."

It was the beginning of December and Elena, Caroline and Rebekah were walking around town together, because Elena and Caroline wanted to look for Christmas presents for their, still human, families. Caroline had wanted to include Bonnie, but the witch wasn't comfortable in Rebekah's company. Elena on the other hand had changed her mind about the original and wasn't hostile towards her anymore and even Rebekah seemed to be more comfortable around Elena.

The shop windows were dressed in the usual Christmas colours, red, green and silver. The tiny lights wrapped around the trees cast golden shadows and the air smelled of a mixture of cinnamon, vanilla and fir trees. The streets were busy and people were hustling each other while they tried to collect everything they needed for the upcoming holidays.

"It's like everyone is caught up by surprise that Christmas is every year. 'What? It's Christmas again?' Yes, folks, every year around the 24th till the 26th of December! I hate all this chaos!" Caroline huffed and Elena laughed. "Oh come on Care! You love it, admit it!" Caroline suppressed a grin.

"Everyone is fighting on Christmas anyway, aren't they?" Rebekah stated a bit snippy, but Elena sniggered: "Usually: yes! So, I still need a present for Jeremy and…do I give Damon something?" Elena bit her lip.

Caroline shrugged her shoulders at her. "No, idea. But I wonder about the same…I think I will get something…" She eyed Rebekah carefully who pulled a face, but didn't say anything. She simply looked at the crowd of people and wrinkled her nose in disgust when she had to avoid bumping into a crying child.

"Well, actually it is just a human convention after all, isn't it?" Elena asked and looked into the shop windows they were passing. Vampires weren't bound by human conventions and Rebekah wouldn't be an original if she wasn't the first to know:

"We never celebrate it. There's no point." Rebekah simply said shrugging and Caroline stopped in her tracks. A frown formed on her face.

When her friends noticed that she had stopped Elena and Rebekah turned around to look at her in confusion. "Care?" Elena asked.

Caroline had started to wonder about Christmas. There is no point… Rebekah's words rang in her ears, but Caroline started walking again, past the other two vampires. Would it be too much to ask if…Inappropriate…?

"She's so strange sometimes." Rebekah said and Elena smiled while they followed Caroline through the crowd. Loud Christmas music, played in a shop, travelled onto the street and filled the air around them, drowning out the buzzing of the people.

"Kind of, I mean she's hanging out with you guys!" Elena said and even though Caroline had been distracted by the music she held her breath and quickly focused on Elena and Rebekah again. She wasn't sure if Rebekah would tolerate Elena teasing her.

She was surprised when Rebekah simply answered. "Oh come on Elena, just because Nik isn't interested in you anymore. Jealous much?" She chirped.

Were they actually becoming friends? Caroline shook her head. It was a strange world after all!

"Oh please! I think Caroline is a fine replacement." Elena cocked her eyebrows and made Rebekah laugh.

"She's not bad. Well, and since she is practically living at our place anyway…" Rebekah said.

"I…"

"Don't even try to contradict it!" The original pointed a finger at Caroline.

"I wasn't. I just wanted to say that I made up my mind and I think I want to celebrate Christmas together with you." Caroline said in a serious tone.

"What!?" Elena laughed out loud. "Seriously?"

Caroline shrugged and looked at Rebekah who looked as if she didn't know if she should laugh at her or simply ignore it.

"You do know that it is a religious holiday, right?" She pointed out raising one eyebrow.

"I don't want to celebrate it out of religious reasons, just because…because I think it would be nice, a reason to bring the family together. Caroline tried to explain. "And Elena is right: I love Christmas. Everyone is so busy buying presents, decorating, baking and…there are just so many colours, I mean look around! It smells of Christmas trees, cinnamon, candles. Can't you smell it?" She described her visions in the brightest colours and Elena was hooked immediately. Rebekah looked around and wrinkled her nose at first, but she tried to see what Caroline saw. What she had experienced all those years, when she never had.

What was Christmas?

She shrugged. "Well…"

"Come on! It will be like another event to plan and organise! We gonna get a tree and decoration stuff and candles." The more Caroline thought about it the larger became her smile. She beamed at Rebekah while she already mapped out everything in front of her eyes. The mansion would look magnificent!

Rebekah didn't really know what to think and she evaded Caroline's question: "Well, I guess if you persuade Nik, I am in."

"No problem!" Caroline said and smiled. Rebekah thought that she was a bit too sure of her persuasive talents, but then again who was Nik to deny his better half anything?

But Rebekah was curious. Would her big brother seriously celebrate Christmas?

No way! That was too weird!

"She really is strange!" Elena said to Rebekah.

Rebekah smiled, then something or rather someone caught her eye. She frowned when she looked at the empty spot where she had thought she had seen someone watching them.

"Everything all right?"Caroline asked.

"Yeah…I thought…never mind!"

Liz expected Caroline to spend at least one night at home once in a while. She knew that she couldn't keep her daughter, not anymore, but she wanted to get used to it rather slowly. She needed time to adjust, but she was aware of the fact that Caroline already spent more time at the mansion than at home. Even though she wasn't as worried about Caroline anymore as she had once been, before she became a vampire, but now that she was living with the cruellest vampires her trust in her daughter's judgment was tested, but she tried.

The biggest surprise had been when Klaus had suddenly stood in front of her only a week ago.

She had frowned at him: "Caroline is not here if you're looking for her she is…"

"I know." He had quickly interrupted her. "I wanted to speak to you."

Liz hadn't shown her surprise, but had wordlessly stepped aside to let him in. She hadn't been able to figure out beforehand why he would want to speak to her. However she had been sure that it meant nothing good. Klaus always brought problems, that was how she had gotten to know him. So what did he want now?

He had turned around to her with his hands clasped behind his back and Liz had to agree that there was something about him that was at the one side frightful but on the other very alluring. There always was with bad guys. Klaus had this air of nobility that was very charming, dangerously charming, but charming never the less.

"I haven't spoken to Caroline of this yet, and I am going to do so after the holidays." He started and raised Liz' interest. "I intend to move to New Orleans and I want Caroline to come with me."

The sheriff knitted her eyebrows together. "Why are you telling me this?"

"I wanted to inform you beforehand. I am not ignorant of the close relationship you have and I know that you are very attached to your daughter."

There was a dumbstruck look in Liz' eyes. Klaus was silent and gave her time to adjust to the thought of her daughter leaving. But Liz didn't know what to say.

"I would also like you to know that I won't force Caroline to go with me. The decision will be hers to make and I will accept it."

Liz had almost asked him to repeat that. This was not what she had expected, not in the least would she have thought Klaus Mikaelson to say something like this. "What calls you to New Orleans?"

"Business. Some rumours I need to verify."

Liz nodded. "How dangerous will it be?" She crossed her arms in front of her chest as if she wanted to shield herself from the probably uncomfortable answer.

"I don't mean to put your daughter in any danger. I wouldn't take her along if me or my family couldn't ensure her safety." He simply stated.

Liz nodded and she understood just then that he must really feel something for her daughter. There must be something that kept him from putting her in any danger, even though it was something she couldn't understand. Was it part of his master plan to exploit Caroline to finally be able to seize the world domination?

Liz abandoned the thought quickly, but she couldn't find herself to trust him and Klaus saw it in her eyes, but he wasn't here to assure her of his honesty. He wouldn't give her that part of him. His family knew and that was enough. There were probably already too many people who knew.

He walked towards the door in order to leave, but at the front door he turned around when Liz thanked him. "Thank you, for letting me know."

He inclined his head and walked wordlessly over to his car.

When Caroline came home that night her mother didn't tell her anything about the visitor she had had. She would respect Klaus and not mention that he had seen her.

"Hey mum, how was your day?" Caroline's cheeks were pink from the cold winter air outside. She smiled brightly and looked like the spitting image of happy-go-lucky. Liz looked at her before she embraced her fiercely. "Er, mum? Are you okay?" Caroline asked with a tone of worry in her voice.

Liz looked at her. "Of course I am." She would have to let her go eventually.

Caroline frowned as if she didn't believe her but let it go.

"Are you hungry? I made Lasagne." Caroline smiled at her mother and nodded.

Later in bed she texted Klaus: My mum's behaving strange today.

The answer came merely seconds later.

Is she? Why?

I don't know…as if I was going to die…geez, now I am scared…

Caroline, your mother won't stake you. You will be perfectly fine.

He was pleased that Liz didn't speak to Caroline of his visit. It reassured him that he had made the right decision.

I know. I miss you.

A smile tugged at his lips. Those words still closed his throat and made his heart swell. They made him beyond happy, even though they were just tiny simple words. No, not simple, powerful was more like it.

I miss you too my love. Go to sleep, I'll see you in the morning.

XXX

Caroline lay back and snuggled into the cushions. She did her mother the favour of spending some nights at home once in a while, but it didn't change the loss she felt when she was lying alone in her bed. Someone was always missing. She hid her head in her pillow in a vain attempt to hide from the suffocating feeling.

There was such a strong connection between them and sometimes, when she was missing him sorely she thought that she could almost touch it. It was stupid, of course it was, but she couldn't help the feeling that there was more to this than she thought. The skin on her neck, where he had bitten her, burned.

Outside the wind was picking up and howled around the house. It sounded as if ghosts were surrounding it. As if wolves were hunting for prey. Feet dragging on the ground. Branches snapping. Clothes shuffling. And running.

Caroline was running. She was out of breath and her lungs hurt. They hurt so much that she thought she'd drop any moment, but her feet didn't stop. They moved on their own and she had no control over them anymore. She jerked her head from side to side and between the trees around her, were yellow eyes staring at her. So many eyes. Prying. The air was damp and thick. Something moved behind her and she wanted to look around, but she couldn't turn her head. Her feet kept running. There was howling. Branches cracking beneath her feet and her lungs that hurt with every breathless breath she drew.

Suddenly she snapped her eyes opening. Another howl cut the air and she startled when a branch hit her window lightly. She looked around confused. Where am I?

She was panting and sweating.

Another crack made her wince. She looked around and froze. Were there eyes in the corner?

She simply petrified and didn't dare to move. Her breathing shallow.

Okay, Caroline, calm down.

She flashed over to the light switch and turned the light on. Frantically she looked around her room.

Nothing!

Just a nightmare. Only your imagination.

The wind howled around the house and she winced again.

She let out a deep breath. Oh god!

On tiptoes she went over to her bed again but left the light on. Caroline lay down under the covers and tried to shut the sounds around her out. The noises from outside. In the air around the house. The house creaking and cracking. Feet shuffling over the floor…

Wait what?

She sat straight up and looked around, struggling to listen. Was there someone in the house?

Her heart was the only thing moving and it sounded so loud in her ears that she couldn't hear anything else. The attacker, whoever it was, must hear it!

Her eyes moved to her nightstand. If she moved very carefully, avoiding to rustle the covers no one could hear her right? And she cursed herself for having left the treacherous light on that would give her away.

Just before the lump in her throat became too big she quickly grabbed her mobile and texted because she was afraid to make any sound, just in case there really was someone in the house.

Nik, I think there is someone in the house.

She knew that he wasn't sleeping, not soundly anyway. He never was.

He didn't need thirty seconds to answer.

Be there in a flash.

She breathed deeply and tried to relax.

Merely five minutes later she heard the front door and froze again. She looked for something she could use as a weapon but he had already whispered her name. "Caroline?"

She didn't care how he had managed to open the locked door. Klaus met her at her door and Caroline sank into his arms. She took in his scent and noticed how she calmed down immediately. Klaus stroked her hair and held her close. Caroline screwed her eyes shut.

"Are you okay?" He asked and examined her face. Caroline nodded. "I just thought there…" She gestured around the room.

"I want you to stay here. I'll be back in a second."

She nodded, but he was already gone. Caroline sat down on the bed and waited.

The original entered her room a minute later at human speed.

"I searched the house there's no one here."

Suddenly the feeling of embarrassment swept over her. "I'm sorry." She rubbed over her eyes. Caroline felt weak and she had never wanted to feel weak again.

"What happened sweetheart?" Klaus asked sitting down next to her. He pushed her hair behind her ear and then tilted her chin up so she would look at him. But Caroline wrapped her arms around his chest and hid her face there. "It was just another stupid nightmare, but…I guess I just panicked." She mumbled into his chest. "I am sorry. I feel so stupid!"

"No, love, no. I want you to call me whenever you need me, no matter what, no matter when! It would have surprised me much more if the past events wouldn't have left any mark at all." He rubbed over her back.

"But it's almost half a year and I don't want to be like this! I mean, don't get me wrong, I love that you are always there for me, but I feel so dependent!"

Klaus shook his head and pulled her along with him when he lay down on the bed. "Patience, love. You still don't see how strong you are, but some day you will. One day you will be that woman, of that I am sure. Have patience, you have a whole eternity to develop yourself!"

She knew that she wasn't that superficial cheerleader anymore and she wasn't insecure about herself anymore. She knew who she was and what she wanted, but other supernatural beings, stronger ones than her, still tended to scare her. "Will you stay?"

Klaus chuckled and kissed her hair. "What do you think?"

Klaus paced the study impatiently and Elijah's ears were too good to be able to simply ignore it.

"Niklaus, what is it that keeps your mind busy?" His brother was troubled and he wondered if he should be concerned about it.

Klaus smirked knowing that nothing ever escaped Elijah. He turned to his brother and tilted his head into the direction of the door. He didn't want anyone to overhear them.

The two originals flashed outside and put some considerable space between them and civilisation.

Elijah crossed his arms over his chest and looked at his brother expectantly.

"Something reached my ears. I don't know yet how concerning it is, but…Have you heard anything about New Orleans lately?"

Elijah's lips were pulled into a tight line. "I know that the city is in an uproar. There are whispers."

Klaus nodded. "I know and that is what concerns me. I intend to go back, now more than ever." Elijah nodded.

"Rebekah tells me that someone was following her. She couldn't see him properly. A few nights ago Caroline thought that someone was in her house. I am going to take care of it! I can't have anyone threatening my family behind my back."

Elijah pondered. "Do you think Marcel has anything to do with this?"

Klaus shrugged. "For him I hope he hasn't. But it's not only vampires. The witches are uneasy. They say that a storm is coming, something that has never happened before."

Elijah swallowed. He had heard similar rumours. "I assume you haven't spoken with the rest of the family."

Klaus denied. "Your assumption is right. I will…after the holidays."

Elijah smirked amused and Klaus gave him a dark look.

"Hold your breath!" He said and stalked off towards the house.

Elijah shook his head smiling.

A few days later Klaus knew for sure that some stranger was in town, but besides that he hadn't found out much. Whoever he was he had indeed been following the girls and Klaus was concerned that he was here for Caroline. Klaus had to find the stranger before he could do any damage.

"Now this might strike you as an odd question, but were you being followed around over these past days?" Klaus asked Caroline.

"Er…Why? What is going on?" She became immediately suspicious.

"Would you please just answer my question?" He was on his soldier mode and his tone was distant and almost indifferent. It wasn't often that he spoke with her like this, but it happened. Especially when it was of a serious concerning matter. It was the Klaus everyone had gotten to know.

Caroline chewed on her lip, something was going on. "I don't…" Then she looked at him. "Well, the night when I had the bad dream I thought someone was in my house…"

But Klaus shook his head. "There was no one there. Anything else?"

"When I was shopping with Rebekah and Elena, Rebekah seemed to be a bit nervous, she certainly always looked around. Klaus, were we being followed?"

"Don't worry my love!" He quickly said and moved away from her into the room to distance himself.

"Niklaus, you will tell me what is going on!" Caroline said sternly and put her hands onto her hips.

"I will. So, what was it you wanted to talk to me about earlier today?" He had put her off this morning because he had been too occupied with the stanger.

Caroline frowned, ignoring his question. "When will you tell me?"

Klaus rolled his eyes. "I will when I know what's going on, maybe it is just a stray vampire, now love, can we please drop the issue for now?" He didn't want her to know…not yet.

Caroline pressed her lips together. Something was rotten in the state of Denmark and she would find out what it was about. She'd just have to be attentive, Klaus was good in hiding things and she would find out just how good he was in hiding things from her.

But for now she pushed the thoughts away. He always did have his reasons never the less. She put on a seductive smile. She was curious herself how he would react. "I want to celebrate Christmas here."

Klaus had an incredulous look on his face. "You want what?"

"Celebrate Christmas?" Caroline asked in a sweet innocent voice.

And Klaus scoffed turning towards the door. "Have fun!"

Caroline's face fell. "Oh come on, Mr Grinch! I want you to join us!"

"Us?" He asked and faced her again.

"The family?"

"They agreed to this?" He couldn't believe it!

"Well…"

An amused grin spread on his face. "You didn't ask!"

"I asked Rebekah!"

Klaus laughed. "So, my darling sister told you to ask me first." He deducted and Caroline pursed her lips. "Love, seriously, you forgot who you are talking to."

"That means…"

"No way!"

Caroline rolled her eyes and turned around to leave herself and in a miffed tone she said. "Fine I'll get the tree on my own then, Grinch!"

"Don't overstrain yourself!" He called after her without moving.

Caroline marched into the kitchen where the rest of the original family was lounging around.

"So, who's helping me with the Christmas tree?" She smiled looking around into reluctant faces.

She rolled her eyes. "Fine!" And she started to walk out of the room.

Kol raised his eyebrows. "Well, hopefully Jack Skeleton won't steal your perfect dream."

She walked back over to him. "If you're ruining my Christmas Kol I will personally…!" Kol looked at her and burst out laughing. "You didn't just threaten me? Oh this is perfect! Darling who would I be to take your dream away from you, when Nik already does that. You can have as many Christmas trees as you like but don't expect me to clean up the pine needles after you."

"The Grinch gene must be part of your family heritage." Caroline mumbled while she left the house.

Elijah had listened amused. He was certain that Caroline wouldn't stop trying to bring the family back together. He thought it was actually nice of her. He didn't feel like a lone soldier anymore for he was already fighting this war for a thousand years now.

Klaus pursued the stranger on his own.

He had managed to find him after a couple of hours. There was a strange air around him and Klaus was sure that he was from New Orleans where vampires could roam the city almost freely these days. He should have never left Marcel in charge, but he only realized that now.

The vampire was sloppy and Klaus didn't think he even noticed that he was being followed, then again, no one could detect Klaus if he didn't want to be detected. He was a master of stealth. So he followed the stranger to his own mansion where he sat down to observe the house. Klaus called Elijah to inform him that the house was being watched.

A short while later he saw how Elijah left the house. The oldest original looked around as if he wanted to make sure no one was around and Klaus had to suppress a chuckle.

Elijah got into his car and drove off and the other vampire followed him naturally.

Elijah drove up to the old witch house in the forest where he quickly flashed off and the unnamed vampire lost sight of him. He waited and just came out of his hiding when he was sure that Elijah was gone. He turned his head around and tried to figure out where the original had went and what he wanted here. He walked slowly over to the house to take a look inside, but suddenly he jumped and spun around when a voice spoke up behind him.

"Looking for something, mate?"

The shock was evident on his face which showed Klaus that he had not noticed being followed. It was pretty ironic and Klaus grinned eerily. The vampire tried to flash off but he almost bumped into Elijah who stepped into his way.

"Oh, please, stay!" He mocked.

The vampire found himself surrounded by the two originals who came closer.

"I don't think we have officially met." Klaus said and the last thing the vampire saw were a pair of yellow eyes and a set of sharp teeth.

The secons part of the chapter wil be up in a few days!

Thank you for reading!
