Author's Note: I sadly will not be continuing this story. I've been crazy busy with school and if I'm being honest this story kind of burnt out for me. But I wanted anyone who was interested to know where I had sort of thought about going with this. But I am almost finished with another blind-Sasuke work. I'm going to finish before the next manga comes out. So if anyone doesn't want spoilers don't read it but I had to just get it out of me. I was traumatized. It's going to be called After the War… It should be five chapters and I'll be posting at least one every day until the new issue is released.

Sasuke knew he wasn't meant to have been born without his eyes.

Orochimaru had not been able to restore his sight and when the snake realized this, he tossed him aside, another failed experiment. But by this point, Sasuke had forsaken his friends. He was blind and lost and now an enemy of Konoha. He couldn't defeat his brother like this.

But he hadn't known that Itachi had watched over him since the Third died. So when he felt someone pursuing him in the jungle after being cast out, he hadn't thought that it was his brother. At first anger flared up. The moment for his revenge had come.

But Orochimaru had left him for dead. He was mortally injured as far as he knew. His memory tampered with. Consciousness faded in and out.

So Sasuke when turned toward where he knew Itachi was, he wasn't expecting to hear his brother crying.

He wasn't expecting his brother to save him.

He wasn't expecting his brother to give him his eyes.
