As Blaster Blade read a piece of parchment that was left on his desk, he noticed quite a few important points which Stardust Trumpeter had told him earlier.
Earlier that Day...
"Uh... Sire! Sorry to disturb you from your lunch but I have to tell you about another rumour that has been heard" Stardust Trumpeter called as she entered the dining room. Blaster Blade looked up from a fresh plate of cinnamon buns. "Yes, What is it?" he asked. "Another intruder has been spotted at the gates. Though... she only pokes her head in at quite random times. Yes it is confirmed that she is a girl. But sadly we cannot describe any of her features since she wears a long cloak" she continued as she breathed in and out roughly. Clearly she had ran.
Blaster Blade looked thoughtfully at the paper in front of him. If what Stardust Trumpeter had heard was true. He had to be careful that he didn't get any more suspicious groups or people into his kingdom. Both for the safety of his people and his faithful friends.
A sudden knock was at the door. "Come in" Blaster Blade announced. The oak door swung open as wind blew hard on it. It made a loud noise and the person at the door winced. It was Nicole. "Greetings your highness" she greeted with a sharp tone to her voice. "I've been sent here to inform you that Katie, Mariah and I will be leaving since we have acquired the map" she continued as she leant on the door.
Blaster Blade raised an eyebrow. Now that he thought about it, sending the trio away seemed to be a bad idea. He could try to learn more about where they had come from and maybe see if they had any connection to the mysterious girl who lurked at his gates. "Wait... You don't have to leave just yet" Blaster Blade said as Nicole turned to leave.
Nicole looked at him confusingly. "But you said that you wanted us to leave as soon as possible" she questioned with a suspicious tone to her voice. "Listen, we may or may not need you to help us with a case that is being thrown at us. Unfortunately we are being threatened with an attack. I can not tell you who" the knight explained as he stood up. Nicole thought about it for a moment. "Ill need to check with my friends if they want to stay. But I still think that it is pointless to stay here" she answered as she left the room without another word.
Blaster Blade placed his chin on his hands and thought if keeping the trio at the castle was a good idea.
Meanwhile...
At the gates there stood a hooded figure. Her hands delicately pulled the hood back to reveal raven black hair and tanned skin. She smirked. "Looks like its time to get to work~"
