Daisy's Diary

Chapter 4

Daisy was now pissed now marching out of her room and heading into the living room, noticing Mario and Peach watching T.V. "Have any of you two seen Luigi?" Daisy angrily asked them, but didn't receive a response. "And why did I even ask them?," she said to herself as she was ready to exit out of the castle. As Daisy took her leave she saw Toadette holding a bowl of cupcakes coming towards her. The growling princess was furious right now and she didn't want anyone to get in her way on her diary search.

"Hello, Daisy," Toadette greeted noticing the angry look on Daisy's face. "You wanna try some of my fresh baked cupcakes," Toadette asked handing her a chocolate cupcake.

Toadette's interruption annoyed Daisy as she slapped away Toadette's hand, throwing the cupcake to the floor. "I don't want any cupcake!," she yelled.

Toadette was surprised at Daisy's reaction. "What was that for?," she asked frowning at the growling princess.

Daisy suddenly calmed down as she realized the cruelty she did to the polite pink mushroom girl. "Oh man I'm so sorry, Toadette," she apologized. "Its just that I'm so angry right now!," she cried, balling her fists and stomping her foot.

Toadette blinked as she tried to find out what was Daisy's problem. "Why what's wrong?"

"I can't find my diary. I think Luigi took it," Daisy explained.

"He did?," Toadette gasped. "No wonder you were so angry."

Daisy nodded as she took a banana cupcake from Toadette's bowl and began taking a bite, surprisingly changing her dull frown into a bright smile. It looks as though she enjoyed the delicious cupcake. "Hey these things aren't bad, Toadette!," Daisy said, her voice slightly muffled due to the fact that she was eating and talking at the same time.

Toadette grinned after hearing Daisy's reply. "Thank you, Daisy," she said happily. "Well I better get out of your way. I hope you find your diary sooner or later. Bye!"

"See ya," Daisy replied before making a small burp as she resumed on the search for her diary and Luigi.

"Alright Waluigi enough is enough! Give me back the diary so I can return it to Daisy!" Luigi cried.

Again, Waluigi ignores him as he kept his undivided attention to Daisy's diary, snickering wildly.

"Oh I knew it wasn't a good idea to tell everyone in Mushroom Kingdom the stuff that was in the diary. If Daisy finds out we're dead."

Waluigi suddenly stopped his reading and turned to Luigi. "What do you mean we? Daisy doesn't know that I have the diary. You were the only person in the room with her," Waluigi said before going back into the book to turn a page. "Heh this is just what I needed!"

Luigi raised an eyebrow in wonder. "Why are you so into this diary?," he asked.

"None of your business!," Waluigi replied.

Suddenly, they heard sounds of footsteps nearby which immediately frightened Luigi. "Oh no its Daisy. Let's get the heck outta here!," he cried, ready to jump into a nearby bush.

"Wait a minute," Waluigi stopped him. "I smell cucpakes," Waluigi said sniffing the air trying to find the scent.

The person arrived relieving Luigi as it was Toadette who came into presence. "Oh thank you lord it's just Toadette."

"What're are you doin' here, mushroom girl?," Waluigi questioned giving her a weird look because he was interrupted from reading Daisy's diary.

"I'm letting everyone in Mushroom Kingdom taste my cupcakes that I just made today," she replied, now trying to give Waluigi a cupcake. "You want one?"

"Givin' away cupcakes eh?" Waluigi asked while rubbing his chin. "Gimmie that," he said as he rudely grabbed it from Toadette's hand.

Toadette was startled at Waluigi's action but ignored it and gave Luigi a cupcake as well. They both took their bites and was lost for words realizing that the cupcakes taste heavenly.

"This cupcake tastes great, Toadette," Luigi said with amazement.

"Yeah, you sure do bake a mean cupcake, mushroom girl," Waluigi added. "I want more."

Toadette smiled. "Go ahead, help yourselves to free cupcakes."

After hearing Toadette's last sentence, Waluigi began greedily digging into Toadette's bowl taking some more cupcakes, eating some and stuffing some others in his pockets for later. Toadette strangely noticed that Waluigi was holding a very unfamiliar book and wondered who did it belong to as she already know that Waluigi doesn't read books. "Hey Waluigi, whatcha reading?," she asked staring at the book in Waluigi's hand.

Waluigi quickly hid the diary behind him, looking at Toadette. "What book?," he asked eating a cupcake.

"It's Daisy's diary!," Luigi butted in. "I'm trying to get it away from him but he won't let me."

Toadette gasped as he remembered her past encounter with Daisy about her lost diary. "So that's where her diary is?," she asked. " I just met her earlier and she's very angry because she can't find it.

Luigi was now terrified as he realized that Daisy has now noticed that her diary is missing and she's on her search. "S-S-She was a-angry?," he asked shaking with fear.

Toadette nodded. "Oh yes she was. My best advice to you two is to give her back the diary and apologize.

"Yeah right," Waluigi scoffed. "I'll do it when I feel like it," he said as he opened the diary and continued his nosy reading.

Suddenly they heard Luigi whimpering continuously, seeing him stare at a direction.

"Ugh what now?," Waluigi cried annoyed that he was again interrupted from his reading.

"She's coming!," he cried pointing at the direction with a serious startled look on his face.

Waluigi then realized that Toadette has suddenly disappeared, leaving him angry that she has witnessed the missing diary. "Hey where did that mushroom girl go?," he asked scratching his head in confusion. He heard Luigi's teeth chattering wildly. "She's gonna rat us out!," Luigi cried.

Waluigi finally found Toadette and was also abit frightened when he saw her running to Daisy calling her name to get her attention. "Uh Oh…"

As Daisy was continuing her search she noticed Toadette approaching her. "What does she want now?," she asked herself. Toadette finally arrived, breathing slightly trying to catch some air. "Oh hey Toadette, how are you doing with your cupcake business?"

"Oh never mind that. I found your diary!"

Daisy's eyes flew open after hearing Toadette's cry. "You did? Where?"

Toadette grabbed her hand and dragged her into the previous place, but realized that Waluigi and Luigi had disappeared. "What the…where'd they go?," Toadette asked looking around.

"Who's they?," Daisy asked looking at Toadette.

"Waluigi and Luigi," Toadette replied. "They were right here with your diary."

"Waluigi has my diary too?!", Daisy screamed with rage. "Wait 'ill I get my hands on that pink nosed punk!"

"Well we gotta find them."

Daisy nodded as they both ran off on their hunt for Luigi, Waluigi, and Daisy's diary.
