Daisy's Diary

Chapter 5

Back at the castle where Mario and Peach were still watching TV, Mario was hearing Peach make small scoffs seeing that she was still angry with Daisy.

"Hey Peach you okay?," Mario asked looking up at her.

"Of course not, Mario," she angrily answered. "I just can't believe those awful things that Daisy wrote in her diary about me. We're supposed to be best friends!"

Mario did agree with Peach's statement. "It's alright, Peach. Even though Daisy said that I was the godfather of leprechauns that doesn't affect me."

Peach suddenly laughed at Mario. "She said that you were what? The godfather of leprechauns?!," she laughed even louder now holding her chest.

"Okay Peach its not anything to laugh about now," Mario said trying to calm her down regretting that he never should've told her that.

Peach stopped, but her laughter was begging to come out. She couldn't control herself as she burst out loud and wild laughter into Mario ear. Mario was angry at first but then he realized how funny it really was, so he joined Peach into her joyful laughter acting like a leprechaun for her amusement. The laughing princess was losing control from Mario's leprechaun mimic. As the loud laughter slightly dimmed down, the short plumber realized something a bit unfamiliar in Peach's appearance. "Hey Peach where's your crown?," Mario asked staring at her head where her crown is supposed to be.

"Hm? Oh its in my room on my bed. Can you get it for me?," she politely asked him.

Mario nodded as he hopped of the couch heading upstairs into Peach's room. As he entered inside, caught off guard by the peach scented aroma that filled up the room, he found the bed but was puzzled when there was no crown. He raised an eyebrow scratching his head. "Wha? She told me it was on her bed," he said to himself looking at Peach's bed. He exited out of the room, arriving back into the living room seeing his princess eating a sandwich. Peach looked at him wondering why are his hands empty.

"You have the crown?," she asked.

"I didn't see any crown, Peach," Mario replied.

Now Peach raised an eyebrow, staring at Mario. "What are you talking about? I left it there before I came here to watch TV. Are you sure it wasn't there?"

Mario nodded, seeing Peach take the last bite of her sandwich and getting off the couch as she was heading upstairs into her room while Mario follows her. As they both arrived, Peach searched around her bed lifting the pillows and bed sheet then peeked under her bed to find no crown in sight. "This can't be. I left my crown right in the middle of my bed." She continued her search checking everywhere in her room but was baffled and frustrated at the same time that she couldn't find her lost crown. "Where is my crown?"

Suddenly, Peach felt a small breeze run past her as she noticed that her window was wide open. "That's strange I thought I closed this window before I left this room today," she said before closing her window shut.

"That's funny, two days ago I lost one of my gloves," Mario said as he checked one last time under Peach's bed but still found nothing. "Why don't you call Daisy and ask her? Maybe she knows where it is."

Peach felt disgusted after hearing Daisy's name being said from Mario's mouth. "This 'dumb blonde' isn't going to call her to ask her anything. I swear if I see her again I'm going to let her know that we're not friends anymore!," she pouted, folding her arms in anger.

Mario was surprised at Peach's reaction. Was this going to be the end of the Peach and Daisy friendship?
