A.N.: WHOA! It's been quite a while since I updated this story. I apologize for this long update but I got a lot of things to deal with like school and life for example. There are sometimes when I have a free time but I just waste it playing video games all day. Anyways, let's continue with the story.
Daisy's Diary
Chapter 6
It was almost in night Mushroom Kingdom, and somewhere in the woods, Luigi and Waluigi were running for their lives, trying to find a good place from their chasers, Daisy and Toadette.
"I told you to give Daisy back her diary but you didn't listen, now look what this is causing us!," Luigi cried while running behind Waluigi.
Waluigi did realize that Luigi had a point there but he didn't care at all, he just kept running, either trying to find a place to hide or away from Luigi. "Get away from me!," he cried, looking behind. You're never gonna get this book!"
After running for several minutes, they stopped to catch their breath since sprinting for a long period of time without stopping wore them out.
"Please, Waluigi, if you want to live to see tomorrow, just give me the book already," Luigi said breathlessly.
"What, are you deaf or something? No matter how much you cry or beg you're not getting this book! It's mine now and there's nothing you can do about it!"
"Man, why did I have to be an idiot and take that stupid diary!?," Luigi cried in regret. "Now, Daisy's gonna kill me!" Suddenly, he strangely heard the sounds of someone eating near and groaned annoyingly, seeing Waluigi munching down on some of Toadette's cupcakes. "The heck are you doing eating at a time like this? We're being chased by my crazy girlfriend and a pink mushroom girl!," Luigi exclaimed in frustration.
"I know that, loser," Waluigi snorted, eating a chocolate cupcake that he got from his pocket. "Sorry, but all this running made me hungry."
Luigi facepalmed, shaking his head in aggravation, but stopped and gasped as he could almost hear the sounds of running nearby and suspected that the girls are getting closer.
"D-Did you hear that? I think I can hear them coming!," Luigi cried in shock.
Waluigi quickly stops eating and turns his attention to Luigi in wonder." What're you talking about? I don't hear anything."
Then suddenly, they both heard familiar voices from afar.
"Are you sure we're going the right way, Toadette?"
"Yes I'm sure, so let's just keep going!"
Luigi gasped again. "They're coming! We gotta go now!" As he turned around, he noticed Waluigi already running away and groaned to himself as he followed him seconds after.
Meanwhile in Peach's castle, local residents of the Mushroom Kingdom were somehow having a discussion.
"So remind us why we're all here after you called us so unexpectedly," Yoshi said to Peach.
"Do any of know where my crown is?," Peach asked everyone but was disappointed when they all give her a negative reply. "Okay, then I want each and everyone of you to search everywhere around my castle and we'll meet back here at exactly 7:00 p.m. sharp," she ordered.
"But this castle is too huge, shouldn't we put people in groups first?," Toad suggested.
"Okay then, Toad, you team up with Yoshi and Birdo. You three are going to search the kitchen," Peach told them.
The three nodded and quickly ran into Peach's kitchen to begin their search.
"Dry Bones and Koopa Troopa, you two are gonna search upstairs."
"We're on it!," they both said in unison.
"Hammer Bro, Donkey Kong, and Rosalina, you check the basement."
Hammer Bro. gulped in panic. "Y-Y-You mean down there, where there's nothing but pure darkness!?"
"Don't worry, I'll use my wand to give us light," Rosalina reassured.
"Great, and Shy Guy, I want you to check everywhere outside."
After everyone left the area, Peach turned her attention to Mario and Toadsworth. "Alright, now that everyone's gone that just leaves us to stay here and hunt around the living room. Now, go!," she cried, startling them from her sudden shriek.
"Where are we going, Waluigi?," Luigi asked before again being ignored by him.
"Get away from me!," he replied, picking up his speed.
"Just give me that diary, so we can end this nightmare!"
"NEVER!"
Waluigi continued running away, his long legs giving him the full advantage to lose his rival. Soon after, he stopped and peeked behind him, happy to see no sign of Luigi. "Phew, looks like I finally lost that sucker," he breathed a sigh of relief. He continued his running, now arriving to his home and dashed inside, going upstairs into his room, finally locking his door shut. As he turned around, he jumped in surprise when he noticed that he wasn't the only person there.
"What the heck? How did- When did-," he stammered when he found out Luigi was in his room.
"You probably forgot about those green warp pipes around the kingdom that we use a lot," Luigi answered. "But that's not important, so are you gonna give me the diary?"
"No! How many times do I have to say it? The answer is NO! Maybe you should just give up because there's nothing you can do to get your dumb girlfriend's beloved di-," he quickly stopped and his eyes flew open as Luigi grabbed the diary from one end with Waluigi holding onto the other, resulting them in a tug-of-war for Daisy's diary.
Back in the woods it looks as though Daisy and Toadette were still on their search.
"We're almost there, Daisy don't you worry," Toadette uttered, running in front of the princess.
"Can you at least slow down first, I can't run good with these heels!," Daisy cried. "I hope you know where your going, Toadette."
"Of course I know," Toadette replied, looking behind. "Just keep following me."
As the two girls continued, they both finally reached to a familiar destination and left Daisy to become very curious.
"Waluigi's house huh? I should've known it would've been here," Daisy spoke.
"Well then, let's go inside," Toadette remarked.
They went to open the front door but noticed that it was locked, they ran to the back door and had no luck, finally trying to open the windows it was completely useless. This angered Daisy.
"Those cowards are probably hiding!," she cried in anger.
Suddenly, Toadette heard faint sounds coming from upstairs and wondered what was causing them. "Hey, Daisy I think I can hear something going on upstairs in the house. Maybe they're up there."
"Well, if there up there, how are we gonna get inside? All the doors and windows are locked."
"Follow me, Toadette said, going to a nearby area near the house.
Daisy rolled her eyes, not wanting to go anywhere with Toadette again but followed anyway. They both stopped to an area where they can see the window to Waluigi's room high above them.
"How are we gonna get up there?," Daisy asked Toadette in desperation.
"Hold on to my plaits."
"W-What?"
"Just do it!"
Daisy groaned and held on to the mushroom girl's long plaits. Hoping for a reason for all of this, she noticed Toadette about to eat a mega mushroom and within seconds, Toadette grew in size and height, reaching a height that is almost close to the window. Daisy began climbing up her plaits and landed on her pink cap. Taking her peek, she gasped in shock when she saw the physical abuse her diary is getting from Luigi and Waluigi.
"Give me the blasted diary, Waluigi!," Luigi cried, tugging one end of the book aggressively.
"No!," he cried, pulling the other end aggressively as well.
Before she could react it was too late…
RIIIIIIIIP!
"AAAAAHHHHH!," Daisy shrieked, her voice loud enough to break glass or cause an avalanche somewhere in Antarctica.
The two boys heard the scream and both their hearts dropped when they noticed Daisy outside the window.
"Oh, boy…," they both murmured in unison.
Daisy bolted inside, a seriously disturbing but angry look on her now dark red face, ready to charge after them. Luigi quickly grabbed his phone from his pocket and sent his brother a text message for help. Shaking uncontrollably from fear, he accidentally dropped his phone dangerously close to Daisy's feet. She wasted no time crushing it with one foot.
Back at the castle it was 7:00 and it looks as though no one has found the missing crown, angering Peach even more.
"So you all are trying to tell me that none of you found it!?" Peach yelled at everyone.
They all nodded negatively.
"Maybe Daisy's the one who took it," Yoshi remarked. "After finding out all of the bad things she wrote about us in her diary I know that it's gotta be her."
Peach immediately agreed. "Maybe you're right, Yoshi. Let's go after her!," she said about to take her leave.
Mario grabbed her arm, stopping her quickly. "Now you can't just go jumping to conclusions. How do you even know that Daisy stole your crown? You just need to-," he stopped as he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket.
"What's wrong, Mario?," Shy Guy asked in wonder.
As Mario took his vibrating phone from his pocket, he was surprised to find a text message from Luigi entitled, "HELP!" Reading the message, he gasped and rushed outside of the castle, leaving everyone inside.
"Where are you going, Mario?"," Toad questioned before seeing him jump into a warp pipe.
"Well, what now?," Hammer Bro. asked looking at everyone.
"Let's follow him and see what he's up to!," Peach told everyone. They all nodded and jumped into the warp pipe to join Mario to where ever he's going.
They all jumped out from the green pipe one by one, noticing that their destination was in front of Waluigi's big house.
"What the?… Why are we here, Mario?," Yoshi asked the plumber.
"No time, just help me get inside!," he replied, trying to open the locked front door.
They all tried their best to open all doors and windows but had no prevail trying to enter inside.
"It's impossible. Everything's locked," Mario cried in frustration.
"I've got an idea, but it's pretty bold," Koopa Troopa said to everyone, catching their attention
He grabbed a nearby rock and threw it at one of the glass windows, breaking it completely. Everyone facepalmed, feeling so brainless for not thinking about trying this before. Mario was the first to leap inside, heading upstairs as everyone followed.
