A/N: Happy Thanksgiving! This is my gift to you. I literally can not apologize enough for not updating for a long time, and it would take a long time to explain why, but just believe me when I say that I am back and I will be updating starting today. Because writing makes me happy and I am thankful for all the wonderful people who read this and leave nice comments and reviews. This is the fic that I have been getting the most requests on so here it is! Chapter 8! There will be one more chapter after this. Enjoy! :)

Beca was running. She didn't know where she was running or what she was going to do when she got there but she knew one thing: She wasn't stopping until she found Chloe. All this time, she thought, I knew exactly what I wanted and I was too much of an idiot to go for it. She wanted to slam her head against a wall. Better yet, she wanted to let Chloe smack her for being so stupid and then she could apologize and spend the rest of time proving that Chloe was always the one. That would be Beca's perfect ending.

"Where is she?" She asked between breaths. "Where is Chloe?" She was frantic as she stood outside of the Chloe and Aubrey's apartment. She had ran so much and had no patience to take an elevator so she made her way quickly up the stairs to the second floor of the building. That didn't keep her from looking like a complete psycho. Maybe this is what they meant when they said love makes you do crazy things.

"I have no idea. I got here and she was on the couch bawling her eyes out." Aubrey's voice was slowly rising. "What in the hell did you do to her?"

"Did you know? Did you know that she had feelings for me all this time?" Aubrey scoffed at Beca's obliviousness.

"I've only known since after finals. I'm not sure how I didn't realize it, but I know now. You really have no idea what that did to her." Suddenly, the brunette finally started to piece the situation together. This is why Chloe had been avoiding her ever since the Bellas had won the ICCA's and why she hadn't been acting herself and she mentally kicked herself for not noticing it before. "She wouldn't move from her bed at all. She ran off when she saw you kissing Jesse because she was so determined to be with you. When she ran out today, that is the second time that she has even left this apartment since we got back. You've completely destroyed her!"

Beca covered her face with her hands. She wished that she could just drop dead right then and there. Tears began streaming down her face and Aubrey actually looked at her with a slight hint of empathy.

"Do you have any idea where she would have gone?"

"No. This has never happened before. I've never seen her this upset."

"I have to find her. I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to hurt her Aubrey, I just didn't know and if I did, believe me, none of this would have ever happened. I'm going to make this right though. I swear to you I am going to make things okay again." She turned around to walk back down the hallway when a hand reached out to grab her arm.

"What makes you so sure of that?" Beca turned again to be faced with a very angry Aubrey.

"Because I love her." And with that she released her arm from Aubrey's grip and turned around again to walk down the hallway. She was going to find Chloe no matter what.

Beca called all of the Bellas, trying to find out if any of them had seen or heard from Chloe. None of them said yes except for Jessica who said that she saw the redhead walking towards the gym.

Beca immediately hung up the phone and began running again. Upon arriving at the gym where the Bellas regularly practiced, she finally decided to slow down and calm her body so that she didn't look like too much of a raging lunatic when she found Chloe. She still had tears streaming down her cheeks and she was out of breath.

She stood outside of the doors for a few minutes not only to recollect herself, but also because she had come to the realization that she had no idea how to approach Chloe. She knew exactly what she needed to say, but she still had all of those original doubts running through her mind. None of that mattered though, because if she didn't make things right with Chloe, she feared she might lose her forever this time.

And then she remembered that Chloe might not even be behind that door at all.

And she thought about the look on Jesse's face when she practically tore his heart out.

But then she thought about the face that Aubrey gave her when she broke her best friend's heart. Like a mother who was facing the killer of her child.

And the look on Chloe's face that she had apparently been seeing right through; an expression of jealousy and hurt and eager, passionate love all at the same time.

And she wondered if she had ever shown that expression on her own face, because she certainly felt all of those things when she was with Chloe as well.

She felt jealous and she was mad, but she was desperate for her feelings to be revealed.

And with all of those thoughts running through her mind, Beca barely realized that her hand had reached for the handle of the gym door, when the shriek of the hinges snapped her back to reality. She had walked through the doors and let them fall closed behind her. Her footsteps were light and her body looked composed, but her mind was going insane as her eyes immediately realized Chloe sitting in the stands in the exact spot where Chloe and Beca would sometimes sit and talk when they had free time during rehearsals.
