You can probably figure out whats gunna happen, it follows the original plot somewhat. This is still in Pico's POV.

I opened my eyes again. My whole body was numb and it felt as though I had lost circulation in my hands and feet. I had no idea where I was and Sorbet…

Sorbet! Where was she?! Those nasty pirates had her! I closed my eyes and wished so hard that it wasn't true and that this was all just an awful dream. But I opened my eyes and found that I was in the exact same place where ever that was.

Sorbet was a tough girl when she was under pressure, I only prayed that she could handle them and that they wouldn't run their nasty hands all over her body like she was theirs! She was mine! No one else's and no one else deserved my little girl, they didn't know how to treat her right the way that I did.

I felt a flash of pain as I remembered how I had failed Sorbet and had not been able to protect her. She had needed me and I had failed her. And what was I doing when she needed me? Jerking off?

I tear escaped my lashes. She didn't deserve me. She deserved someone better; someone who could take care of her and protect her in the ways that I had failed to do so. Besides I was too old for her to the point where in most people's opinions, I was sick and twisted and wrong and shouldn't like her or do stuff to her like I had done.

Black guilt bubbled over in my stomach. I shouldn't have laid a finger on her. I did and I really shouldn't have… Regardless of whether she wanted it or not. It wasn't right and she needed someone younger than me. Someone who could be there for her; she needed a better fitting boyfriend. And I wasn't the right guy.

I looked up and finally looked up and noticed my surroundings. I was in a clearing of the trees on Gren. It was a small village that lived in huts and I was in the center of it.

The huts were small but colorful. And there was cat-people. Like the one who had shot me with that dart. All of the cat-people were short and wore exposing clothes, they had hair on the top of their heads like most normal humans did. The only difference that made them cat-like was the tall triangular cat ears that stuck out the top of their heads and the cat like eyes they had that reflected at night.

I tried walking forward. Stuck, I was stuck, something was holding me back.

I looked down at my body and say how it was tightly bound with thick ropes. I tried to tug at them with no success. Sorbet needs me! I thought.

I easily burnt through the rope that bound my wrists and freed them so I could have circulation in my hands. I was about to burn through the other ropes when I realized I would never get anywhere. There was way too many cat people outside who were watching me out of the corner of their eyes and yet pretending I wasn't there.

Plus I was on some sort of stand in the middle of their village and there was a cat person in front of me keeping guard.

I sat back and realized it would be a while before I wasn't as watched. I would just burn through the ropes when it was night time and I had the darkness to hide me. And Sorbet really needed me and I had promised myself I wouldn't let her down.

I looked forward and was amazed to see a familiar face. He had light hair and green eyes and was extremely familiar and it had been a long time since I had seen him.

"Todd!?" I asked in total shock.

"Pico?" I heard Lassi ask moving forward. With them was Todd, Lass, Mokka and Chai. All of us were on Gren together.

Todd and his friends walked over behind me and whispered so the other cat people couldn't hear, especially the one keeping guard of me.

"Pico how did this happen?" Todd asked.

"Oh these guys nabbed me while I was out fighting pirates, no big deal, ill break out when I catch em off guard," I said trying to sound nonchalant, "The pirates have Sorbet though…"

"Sorbet got captured by pirates?" Lassi asked.

"Just like Miss Madeleine," Chai said.

"Ok, we'll head after her Pico," Todd said, "But shouldn't we make sure you're ok first?"

"Ok here's the plan," I whispered, "When it gets dark the cat people or whatever they're called-"

"Felins," Lassi interrupted.

"Yeah well once the felins go to bed ill burn through these ropes and run into the forest, I'll meet you at the pirate hideout." I explained my plan.

"Ok…" Todd said.

"But we're gunna make sure you escape so we're staying overnight," Lassi said.

"Ok with me, you do whatever you want," I said.

And with that said, Todd and the rest of them ventured through the village.

I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I remember was someone sawing at my ropes. At first it scared my but then I looked into the innocent face of two young felin girls. One had blonde hair and was beautiful and seemed to be watching to make sure no one was looking. The other had red hair and looked really similar to the blonde one.

"We're busting you out, don't say a word," The blonde one put her fingertips to my lips while the one with red hair cut my binds.

"What are your names?" I whispered into the silent night to these two beautiful felin girls. They even had cat tails I noticed as the blonde one turned around quickly to make sure no one was looking.

"My name is Semolina," The blonde one said, "And this is Farina," Semolina pointed to the chick sawing my binds.

"Here check this out its faster," I said lighting my arms on fire and blazing through the ropes Farina was working to cut. I burned the ones around my legs too and got up and stretched.

"No time for stretching!" Semolina said grabbing my arm and tugging me toward the forest while Farina followed.

I don't think anyone noticed us but if they did they couldn't do anything about it. Farina and Semolina led me out of the felin village and deep into the forest where I knew they wouldn't find me.

"Alright this is far enough," Semolina said stopping. I just noticed she had bare feet.

Farina nodded and I noticed she didn't talk much.

"Good luck fire magician," Semolina said pressing a brief gentle kiss on my lips and backing up a few steps.

"Name's Pico," I said to the girls.

"Well… good luck Pico… promise me you'll never come back to our village, it is not safe for magicians like you." Semolina said.

"Good luck," Farina said almost so quiet I couldn't hear her.

"I promise, I need to get going now," I said thinking of Sorbet and how she wouldn't approve of me receiving a kiss from Semolina, jeez I was an awful boyfriend.

I watched as Semolina and Farina turned around and scampered off into the forest. I watched them until they were out of sight.

I rushed blindly into the forest having no idea where I was going but was only positive of one thing.

I needed to find Sorbet.
