One shot: Oliver and Felicity's Coffee date. (Takes place after Mob Boss's Daughter)

Pairing: Oliver/Felicity

Coffee

After about 5 minutes later Oliver came out wearing his casual clothes.

"So to where?" Felicity asked Oliver as she got up from the stool and grabbed her bag in the process.

"I don't know? Weren't you the one that asked me to go out?" Oliver asked her hiding the small smile that was forming on his face. He loved to tease Felicity

"What? Nononononono I didn't ask you out on a date I asked you if you would like to come and get some coffee with me and now ugh now that I do think about it does sound like a date but it's not I swear it's just two friends going out for a cup of coffee. Okay?" she rambled as they arrived to their cars.

"I'll see you at Big Belly Burger" Oliver told her as he entered his car

A soon as Felicity entered her car she let out a long sigh.

Surprisingly Felicity somehow arrived to Big Belly Burger before Oliver, so she took the liberty of choosing the table they were going to be in that night. She chose the table that was next to the window. She loved a table with a view, even if the view was of cars splashing through puddles in this cold weather. She rubbed her hands together, hopefully creating friction so it could heat herself up. She should have worn those damned gloves this morning.

Carly was wiping the counter as she saw a certain blonde secretary and went to take her order.

"Well, look who's here? Can I get you anything?" Carly asks with a friendly smirk on her face.

"Hey Carly. And thank you but no. Not yet. I'm waiting for Oliver" Felicity told her looking up from her hands

"So Oliver finally asked you out? Thant's great!" She tells her smirk turning into a smile.

"Um no. Not yet anyway. I mean no" Felicity awkwardly rambled

"What can I get you?"

"A coffee please" Felicity mumbled under her breath.

Carly scribbled something on her notepad and went off to the kitchen

Felicity let another sigh pass her lips. She glanced at her watch. It's been 10 minutes since she arrived. Her coffee is getting cold.

She glanced one more time at her watch and got up. She drank the coffee in one swing, paid and then tanked Carly and left the diner angrily.

She stomped to her car and took out her keys out more. She then opened the door, got in and closed the door more aggressively than necessary.

…Did Oliver ditch her?

Did he play her?

Of course he did.

Obviously. We're talking about a guy that spended 5 years on an island in the middle of nowhere because he had been foolish enough to cheat on Laurel

…Of course.

He probably went to Laurel.

Smart, beautiful, witty, non-rambling, model-like-figure, brave Laurel.

How could she be so stupid and foolish?

Out of anger and frustration she hit the steering wheel causing a beep from the horn. She started the engine and made her way back to her apartment. She impatiently waited for the elevator to come and after 6 minutes of waiting she said 'screw it' and went up the stairs.

Now the thing is that she lives on the 5th floor and the stairs were very dusty because they were rarely used and it was kind of dark to see, so carefully she had to go up the stairs light 2. The stairs were full of dust that caused her to sneeze every now and then and the worst of them all. She was pretty sure that there were cockroaches.

She tried her best to ignore it and pretty much ran up the stairs as fast as she could. After going through that hell of an afternoon Felicity just wanted to take a nice hot shower and go to sleep until 9 a.m. in the morning. Unfortunately the universe had another idea.

Instead of being woken up by her alarm at nine in the morning she was woken up by Oliver at six in the morning. Needless to say Felicity was more pissed than ever.

She opened the window and gave Oliver her best disapproval look, well as disapproving as she could manage anyway, she was pretty much half awake.

"Hey" Oliver quietly said.

"Oliver it's six in the morning why are you knocking on my window?" If he thinks he's going to get away from this by using his charm on her he's wrong.

"I got you coffee" He told her while holding up two cups of coffee from Big Belly Burger.

Felicity let out a short, bitter laugh. "Coffee? I had a cup yesterday night"

"Felicity let me explain."

"I don't want to hear it Oliver. You ditched me. What's more to say?" Felicity told him bitterly.

"It's just that Thea called me panicking about something that happened at the club so I went to help her"

"So you didn't call me to tell me you weren't coming?"

"I'm sorry it's just that Thea needed, my help and I forgot." Oliver let out a sigh and slightly ruffled his hair as his hand went through it.

"I'm sorry" Oliver told her.

"It's ok"

"I would never ditch you"

"I know" Felicity answered with a smile. "Can I go back to sleep now?"

"What about the coffee?" Oliver asked her.

"Guess I'm not sleepin' "
