Maka moaned as she rubbed her exhausted eyes, quietly wondering what time it was as her eyes gazed upon the gem that rested on the desk before her with several text books surrounding it, a few open to pages about mystical stones.

Clong-Clong-Clong.

"Three in the morning," Maka let out an exasperated sigh as she locked the gem away in a safe, "I need to get to bed, the gem will just have to wait." The young scythe Meister then turned off the light and crawled into bed.

As the clock chimed an hour later, a dark steam floated out of the safe and drifted out of the apartment towards the school. The steam formed a cloud in front of the doors, making a thick fog in front of the DWMA. Xelysha smirked as she formed in the middle of the fog and walked into the school.

"Aiko," a man smiled, "I got you something."

"What is it?" A young Aiko giddily hugged the man's right leg, "what is it, father?"

"Just this," the man chuckled as he pulled a dress out from behind his back. The dress was teal and trimmed with lace.

"It's so pretty," Aiko immediately released his leg and grabbed hold of the skirt, "like a princess from one of my books."

"Only the best for my little girl."

"About time you showed up," Riku stared Xelysha down with his Keyblade in hand.

"Where's your friend?" Xelysha chuckled, "you know, the idiot with the spiky hair, not the pathetic red-head."

"He's on his way."

"'Til then, you've got me!" A voice shouted from the ceiling. Xelysha laughed as she leaped back at the exact moment Black*Star fell from the ceiling, swinging a black sword down at her.

"Oh look, it's turning into a party," Xelysha smiled as her Keyblade formed in her hand, "I'm a sucker for parties." She pointed her Keyblade at Black*Star just as lightning projected from it and struck him, her eyes widened in surprise at the sight of the boy vanishing into thin air.

"Behind you!" Black*Star shouted from behind her as he swung the sword at her back, she quickly spun around and blocked the attack.

"Don't forget me," Riku smirked as he swooped in for the attack, only for her to vanish.

"Where'd she go?" Black*Star looked around, "Come out!"

"With pleasure," Xelysha chuckled as she appeared out of the shadows and sliced through Black*Star's shirt. He winced and held his side where blood was coming out, quickly spinning around and swung repeatedly at Xelysha who quickly blocked the majority of his attacks. She winced and took a few steps back, glaring at her arms now sliced open and bleeding. It was close, if he was a few moments faster her left arm would've been off right now. "Heal," she mumbled as a green light came out of her Keyblade and went over her, healing her wounds. Riku took advantage of the moment to charge in for the attack, but Xelysha calculated it moments before and was already out of his way by the time he reached her, he kept running and skidded to a stop at the realization of what happened. Instinctively he raised his weapon and blocked an attack from a black sword in the shadows.

"No one hurts L-Lady Xelysha," Crona muttered as he swung at Riku again, continually swinging as he blocked each attack.

"How did he get out?!" Black*Star's eyes widened, "we locked him in there."

"Did you really think I would let my henchman go on without me and not give him a way out of a simple cell?" Xelysha waved her Keyblade and laughed as ice emerged from the Keyblade at Black*Star who was so lost at Crona's escape that he didn't see it coming. The girl smirked as she poked the frozen Black*Star, "idiot boy."

"Black*Star!" Tsubaki called out to her frozen Miester, only the tip of her blade poked out of the ice.

"Have fun, Crona," Xleysha casually walked away from the dueling boys, "keep him occupied for me."

"Aiko," Xelysha cooed, "where are you? Can't hide from me forever, you know."

"I'm here," Aiko calmly answered as she stepped out of a classroom, "I know what you did. You killed Fain." Aiko glared at Xelysha as a Keyblade formed in her hands, she charged at Xelysha, "you're going to pay for what you've done!"

"Oh really?" Xelysha laughed as her Keyblade emerged onto her hand in time to block Aiko's unsteady attacks, "you can't even attack correctly, you're such a noob." Xelysha took a step to the side and sliced at Aiko as she stumbled forward, "bad form too." Aiko winced as she held her side.

"Heal," Aiko muttered as a green light came over her from her Keyblade and healed her wound.

"Ah, you know how to heal yourself," Xelysha mocked, "how cute." She smiled as she blocked another attack from Aiko, "here's something to think about, was it really me who killed Fain or was it you?"

"It was definitely you," Aiko snarled as she swung again and again, trying to get harder and faster to make it more difficult to block, but Xelysha kept blocking with so much ease that she soon realized it was impossible to win.

"C'mon, Aiko," Xelysha smirked as she suddenly went into the offense, striking the young Keyblade wielder one strike after another, "think about it. Who really did it? I know you'll remember with a little work." She let off on the attacks after Aiko collapsed to the ground.

"You... you're lying..." Aiko held her sides tightly, blood dripping onto the floor.

"Am I?"

"Is there anything else I have to do?" Aiko smiled at Fain.

"Nope," Fain laughed, "just wait."

"But I want it now," Aiko sighed.

"No worries, it'll come in time."

"I could have it now," Aiko thought as she watched Fain clean off his Keyblade, "it could be mine today if I just..."

"Stop it!" Aiko held her head, "just stop! It's a lie!"

"Ah, it's coming to you," Xelysha smiled as she walked over to Aiko, "it's okay. I'm sure your new friends will understand."

"No, I didn't..." Aiko began to cry, "I couldn't."

"But you did."

Aiko calmly walked behind Fain, watching his every move as she picked up the pairing knife off of the table. "I need to have it now."

Fain turned around to face Aiko, having little time to react before she strikes. He gasped as his hand reached for his chest, blood covering his hand and shirt.

"A-Aiko?!" Fain cried out.

"I'm sorry," Aiko sighed, "but I can't wait, Fain." She delivered the final blow, slitting his throat. His corpse fell to the ground, his lifeless eyes staring at the doorway. Aiko cried as she closed his eyes, "what have I done?" She was so lost in herself that she didn't notice the Keyblade, her goal, had already vanished.

"Remember?" Xelysha found delight in Aiko's painful stare, "I didn't kill him, you did. I merely whispered in your ear and you did the rest. Your poor daddy, Damian, oh how he cried when he found out."

"No, it's a lie," Aiko sobbed, "I know it is."

"Oh it's true," Xelysha smiled, "it's funny how people perceive your father, though, everyone finds him as the insane scientist who turned you into a victim. What a pretty lie that is? You were falling into the darkness, so he did what any father with his abilities would do; extract the darkness from your heart to save you," Xelysha chuckled, "thus creating me."

Aiko stared up at Xelysha.

Damian raced into the main hall of his mansion at the sound of Aiko's psychotic laughter.

"Aiko," Damian immediately froze at the sight of his daughter, "what have you done?"

"I got what's mine," Aiko giddily smiled as she swung the keyblade back and forth, her hands and dress stained with blood.

"Now then," Xelysha raised her keyblade, "time to die, Aiko... And by the way, I'm far from sorry."

Kid raced into the DWMA, having a feeling that something was wrong.

"Aiko!" Kid exclaimed at the sight of Xelysha's Keyblade through Aiko's body. He watched in shock as Xelysha snatched the orb that floated out of Aiko's body and forced it into her own, "I'll never forgive you for this!" He ran at Xelysha, leaped into the air, and roundhouse kicked Xelysha from behind. She stumbled and tripped over Aiko's body, laughing as she fell.

"Freeze!" Sora shouted as he raced toward the fight, ice traveling faster than him and freezing Xelysha in place. "Aiko," Sora stared at Aiko as he collapsed to the ground. It couldn't be real, she couldn't be gone. Riku dragged an unconscious Crona over to the group, his body was cut and bleeding from head to toe, the boy froze at the sight of Aiko and joined Sora on the floor. A feeling of failure overcame him.

"I'm sorry," Riku sighed, "I should have stayed with you."

"I may be new to the logic of the land you came from," Kid walked over to the boys, "but if they were two halves of the same whole, perhaps there's still a part of Aiko that's alive. We may be able to bring her back entirely, if we work together."

"Yeah," Sora sniffed, "it's possible."

"Until we figure it out," Riku looked over at the frozen Xelysha, "she has to stay locked up somewhere she can't hurt anyone."

Aiko squirmed on the lab table, her hands cuffed to the cold table beneath her.

"Let me go," Aiko screamed.

"This is for your own good," Damian's hands shook as he began the procedure, "Aiko."

"Xelysha" a voice whispered as Xelysha groggily awoke to find herself chained to a cell wall.

"Who's there?" Xelysha searched the dark cell for signs of who was talking.

"Come, Xelysha," Xelysha could hear a smile in the voice as a line formed on the wall to her right, "it's time for an official meeting." Xelysha smirked as the line seem to split open in a way that looked like a lightning bolt at first until it spread out into a perfect oval. Through the whole she could see a man in a black hoodie and baggie pants, he pointed a strange silver object that looked like a fat pen at her chains, an end of the strange pen glowed as it made a buzzing noise.

"Excellent," Xelysha's chained unlocked and fell to the ground as she rubbed her wrists, "I love official meetings," She moved her hands to her side and walked through the oval opening in the wall, the opening quickly closed behind her.

Author's Notes

Thank you for your support. It's been a few years since I started this story and had many problems and finished it only recently.

If you're wondering why the continuation is an official sequel to a different fanfic, it's because I'm planning on it being a huge crossover between a few of my fanfics (with guest appearances from franchises I haven't written for.)

Fanfics involved:

Heart and Soul

Time and Portals

Trapped in a Curse

I recommend reading them while you wait for Bleeding Tears (however it is not necessary to understand what's going on.)

Franchises involved:

Soul Eater

Kingdom Hearts

Doctor Who

Portal

Bioshock

Supernatural

Once Upon a Time

BBC's Sherlock
