Hey, Hey, Hey! Sorry for the very late reply. I had no chance to write due to writer's block and prison...er, I mean school :P Please forgive me...Please? For my birthday? XD
Thank you to everyone who has reviewed, favorited, and (hopefully) has stayed loyal to this story.
Onward!
(Princess Raquel's POV)
This couldn't be happening. My mind was going a million miles an hour as I glanced at Tyson. CeCe just...froze...at Tyson's command no less. None of this made any sense. I looked at CeCe, still holding her hand. CeCe just had this blank stare. She was looking at me, but she didn't see that it was me. I don't think she even knows we're in serious trouble. I lightly squeezed her hand, silently willing her to come back to me, back to reality. It didn't work. CeCe just stood there. Biting my lip softly, I held CeCe's other hand and looked down. Her wrist was still really swollen. I looked closer at her wrist, my eyes widening.
'How did CeCe's wrist get broken?' I thought, glancing at Tyson. CeCe was definitely out of it because she didn't even flinch when I touched her wrist. If she couldn't register pain from a broken wrist, then Tyson seriously messed her up.
"Just give up, little sister." Tyson said cooly. "Your Rebel is mine." I shook my head almost desperately.
"Ce, c'mon. You gotta snap out of it. It's me—"
"Rebel, attack." Tyson said in a bored tone. I glared at Tyson.
"Just shut up!" I snapped. As soon as the words left my mouth, I turned to face CeCe and was instantly kicked sharply in the side of the head. I gasped in pain, falling to the floor and held my head. "Ow..." I breathed, glancing up to see that CeCe was in an offensive fighting stance. I bit my lip roughly.
CeCe just kicked me.
I slowly sat up, my eyes never leaving CeCe after the spots and stars faded from my vision. Her blank stare was instantly replaced with a dark, almost murderous one. This can't possibly be good. I cautiously got to my feet, ready to defend myself. Tyson smirked as he sat on his throne, crossing one leg over the other as he watched. There were guards at every exit, blocking the doors and windows so I couldn't escape. It was just me and CeCe in the middle of the throne room. I gazed into CeCe's dark amber eyes.
"CeCe, please. You've got to snap out of it." I pleaded, stepping closer to my fiery redhead. CeCe didn't move, so I stepped closer. "C'mon, sweetheart. It's just you and me." I whispered, gingerly touching CeCe's shoulder. CeCe let out a low, almost wolf-like growl. My eyes widened at the sound before the air was suddenly knocked out of my body. CeCe had just kneed me in the stomach and kicked me in the head again as I was doubled over in pain. I was sent flying ten feet and landed roughly on the floor, coughing violently as the air started to return. I was practically paralyzed, in too much pain to move. I wasn't a fighter, Tyson knew that, and even with CeCe teaching me the other night I still barely knew squat about actually attacking. I know how to defend myself against basic attacks, but as you have witnessed, that's doing wonders for me at the moment.
CeCe walk slowly walking towards me, looking intent on killing me. Tears started to sting my eyes. This could not be happening. This wasn't planned. CeCe pulled out her knife from her shin-high boot. I glanced at Tyson, whose eyes were wide with surprise. He obviously didn't know about CeCe's knife. All of Tyson's surprise was all replaced with a sick smirk of satisfaction as he sat down comfortably in his throne. He had no intention of calling CeCe off. Tyson was going to get the pleasure of watching my love interest kill me. I tried to roll away from CeCe, but she was too quick. CeCe roughly grabbed my arm and returned me on to my back, straddling my stomach as her free hand grabbed my hair while the other pressed the blade of her knife against my neck. I closed my eyes tightly, tears rolling down my face as I waited for CeCe to cut my throat.
'This is it. This is how I'm going to die...' I thought, starting to choke up as one does when they cry. I waited. And waited. Several moments passed, but the knife never moved. I daringly opened my eyes. CeCe was just staring at me, looking conflicted.
"CeCe?..." I choked out softly. My eyes darted to Tyson. He was getting impatient.
"What are you waiting for?" Tyson yelled to CeCe. "Kill her or else!" He growled. I heard at least two guards pull out their own daggers. Oh, no...
CeCe was still hesitant, as if she was trying to figure out something. I bit my lip roughly. We both just lost. Either way, I'm not leaving alive and CeCe is forever doomed to Tyson's control. I couldn't help but laugh aloud. Control. The one thing CeCe hated almost as much as she hated my brother. I was still waiting for my demise, CeCe's hesitance was just prolonging the inevitable. My heart started doing nervous flips as a guard with his dagger drawn walked towards CeCe. Under Tyson's control or not, CeCe would still be alive. Tears started welling up in my eyes again.
"Do it, CeCe." I said in a choked, broken whisper as the tears spilled down my cheeks. "Save yourself. Just do it.." Tyson growled, standing.
"If you want something done right, you do it yourself." Tyson snarled. "Guards, I've grown bored. Kill them both." My eyes widened.
"CeCe, get off of me! Quickly!" Figures, she still doesn't listen. The guards started to approach us, though I heard something over the clanking of the guards' armor...like a rumbling sound.
...the hell?...
Not wanting to find out what was going on, I started to panic.
"CeCe! Get off!" I yelled, trying to push my corrupted rebel away, though to no prevail. I seriously need to work out... I jumped when something bashed into the doors...again...
...and again...
...until the doors flew wide open.
In rushed hundreds and hundreds of Rebels and assassins, all working hand in hand as they fought their way into the throne room. At the head of the attack was none other than Chief Georgia and the blonde boy from the dungeons. I looked up at CeCe, who was now smirking with a slight look of insanity expression in her eyes.
"Time to end this, Rocky..."
So...How about this for a comeback? I'm open to any suggestions my peeps have to continue this story. Otherwise, I'm ending it in a chapter or two. So, if you have an idea, let me know and if I can fit it in, I will gladly give credit where credit is due :)
