Congratulations, you managed to burn my brain cells that much! Plus, fighting against an idiot is like playing chess against a pigeon, no matter how tactical you be, the pigeon would just knock away the pieces and strut away like it had won the game. Also, given the fact that you were so defensive and insulted me childishly -you're so mature, I envy you, NOT- shows that you're just trying to get some attention because you got none. Goodbye guest reprobate, may karma strike you. This will the last I reply because I refuse to give in to your silly little tantrum.

Yosh! With that done, I will now say.. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! Gosh I love you people for reviewing nicely and being such wonderful human beings, unlike someone. I tried making this as sweet as possible but then I'm no good in sweetness, especially when I'm high on chocolates! I drool at the thought of creamy dark chocolate, it gives me thrills and chills~

This is the second last chapter for this story, so take it easy guys~ Again, happy Valentines!

*a big thank you to my koibito for giving me such an inspiration, if you're reading this, panda loves you!*

After a few days spending in the hospital, The Fushimi family finally returns home with a couple bundle of joy carefully balanced on Misaki's arms. The smile plastered on Misaki's face is so infectious that Saruhiko himself couldn't help but smile, he couldn't believe the turn of events that changed his life for the better. Sasaki, their daughter is cooing away on Misaki's left arm making sweet little baby noises, while Ryuu is sleeping peacefully on Misaki's right arm. The twins had been fed with specialized and formulated baby milk, since Misaki couldn't produce his own. But Misaki was fine with that, as long as the children won't be starved to death.

"Why didn't you want to stay in the hospital longer? It might do you and the twins some good," the blue clansman says as he caresses Sasaki's cheek gently, their bedroom in comfortable warmth since Misaki and the twins are still sensitive with the temperature changes. "I can stay with you there, and keep an eye on all of you without any problems," Saruhiko continues as he plays with Ryuu's thin brown hair, an almost identical shade as Misaki's only darker. Apparently, Ryuu and Sasaki are non-identical twins, hence why their hair is a different shade. Sasaki's hair is a deep blue similar to Saruhiko's but with a hint of brown in them.

Misaki only shakes his head at that and hands Sasaki over to Saruhiko, the newborn yawns and squirms around in her father's hold. "There's no way I'm spending another day in there, I'd smell like the hospital itself. Besides, I feel better if I'm at home, and Anna can watch over me, she's been doing so when you go out to buy stuff," Misaki said as he shifts Ryuu in his arm, the baby hardly twitches when being done so. Saruhiko quirks a brow when Misaki said that, now how did Anna manage to get into their house? Does she have a key? But thinking back that she's a Strain, he shrugs away the worry. He owes her one anyway.

"Even so, I'm still worried about all three of you. I just don't want anything else to happen. Sure, Mogura might be dead but what if he lived on as a ghost or something?" the blue clansman panics a little and Misaki had to pinch his cheek to silence him and points with his eyes at the squirming Ryuu in his arms. Saruhiko held his breath as Ryuu moves around in his blanket, and sighs in relief when the baby continues to sleep on. He had experience waking up Ryuu from his slumber; his ears would have been permanently deaf if Misaki hadn't calmed the little boy down.

With Ryuu settling down, Misaki pinches Saruhiko again and the clansman had to bite his tongue from snapping at Misaki, Sasaki is still cooing in his arms. "Will you stop being so dramatic or panicky? There's nothing that would get me, not with Anna watching us. Besides, just because I gave birth to these two, doesn't mean I don't know how to fight. I still got my baseball bat under the bed for crying out loud, I'm fine," the crow hisses out with venom in his eyes. Saruhiko quirks his brow again and glares at Misaki with as much hate and bloodlust as he could manage. The crow was stunned when Saruhiko stares at him like that, and he could feel how his body freeze in on itself. His arms tightening around Ryuu as he only stares back at Saruhiko with wide, terrified eyes.

Sighing, Saruhiko stops glaring and looks back at Misaki with his usual, gentle eyes whilst patting the crow's head with his free hand. "See what I mean? With just one, bloodthirsty glare, you'd be reduced to a heap of frozen fear, you won't be able to move from your spot let alone grabbing the baseball bat in time to defend yourself," the blue clansman reasons as Sasaki hiccups for the milk bottle. Saruhiko reach over to the bedside table to grab her bottle before popping it inside her mouth gently. "That's why I want you to stay at the hospital, at least until you're strong,"

Misaki was left quiet at this and Saruhiko regrets telling him that. "But I guess as long as Anna's watching you, I suppose it's not a bad thing. After all, it's thanks to her that you were protected at the early stages of your pregnancy, I should repay her with something," the blue clansman mumbles to himself as he pats Sasaki gently while she suckles on the bottle happily. Saruhiko and Misaki peer down into her eyes to see what colour they are, only to be surprised to see her left eye a pale blue while her right eye a pale brown. "I heard this kind of things happen to twins," Saruhiko murmurs out when Sasaki releases the bottle.

Handling his daughter as gently as he could, Saruhiko turns her on her stomach and starts patting her back to get the gas out. Sasaki made some uncomfortable sounds for a while and Misaki was worried that she'd puke the milk back out, after all, it wouldn't be the first time she puked on Saruhiko. A few more gentle pats on her back, and Sasaki releases a rather large burp for a baby her size. Misaki couldn't help but laugh when she does that, it's amusing to see his daughter who looks so much like Saruhiko burping away after every meal, since Saruhiko never burps. In fact, Misaki couldn't remember when was the last time Saruhiko burped or farted in front of him, like the blue clansman never does either of those things.

Mental note, need to find out where and when the monkey farts or burps, Misaki thought in a rather mischievous way, good thing he can mask his emotions quite well. After getting Sasaki to burp and calm down, Saruhiko starts to hum and cradle their daughter to make her fall asleep while Misaki takes care of Ryuu. Their baby boy don't really make much of a fuss and Misaki could see some of Saruhiko's calm traits in him, which means he'd have to deal with another smart-pants in the house. But guess that's where the fun lays, the crow thought with a gentle smile. Ryuu stirs quietly in his arms and peeks an eye open, and Misaki could see the gentle, pale brown colour in them. Back at the hospital, the twins' eyes were dark and the new parents couldn't tell what colour they were, until today.

The baby boy looks around sleepily and even gurgling some baby noises at Misaki before falling back asleep quietly. Saruhiko couldn't help but chuckle at their son, ever since he was born, Ryuu seems to have developed quite a mind and it's amusing for them both to see what other reactions their baby boy would make. With their children now asleep, Saruhiko gently puts them in their crib that Anna had bought. It was bigger, and suited to hold both babies together, it was easy for them to get this without even spending a yen, and all they had to do was trade in Ryuu's rare and expensive wooden crib for this one. They even got the mattress and mobile for free, Saruhiko was elevated that time.

Looking back at Misaki, the blue clansman then climbs up into bed and nuzzles the crow happily on his hair. Misaki was about to retort something when his phone starts to buzz. Picking it up, he realizes it was Izumo calling him, and the crow is now curious at what the bartender wants. Pressing the 'accept' button, he puts the phone to his ears and greets Izumo. "Misaki-chan, how are you doing? Congratulations on your twins, sorry I couldn't visit earlier, Seri-chan also went into labor and we got ourselves a little boy," Izumo's voice was practically going a hundred miles with how excited he sounded. Misaki squeals happily and congratulates them both but careful not to wake up his twins.

"That's great Kusanagi-san! Guess our kids can have a playdate once in a while now huh?" the crow asks enthusiastically while Saruhiko only quirks a brow next to him. Misaki and Izumo talks for a little while more and Saruhiko realizes the rather disturbed look on Misaki's face, when they finally hung up, he asks the crow what was wrong. Misaki only rubs the back of his neck sheepishly at his lover. "Kusanagi-san said that his family, and Homra want to come and visit us," the crow explains to Saruhiko. The blue clansman could feel a crack in his spectacles when Misaki said that.

He was about to say no and tells Misaki what a bad idea it is since the twins are still so little and that the crow himself is still weak, until his own phone rings. Glaring at the offended item, he roughly presses the accept button only to hear Reisi's voice from the other side. "Fushimi-kun, I do hope you allow me to visit your family. Awashima-kun's little boy is extremely beautiful. I was hoping to see your children as well, along with our senior members in Scepter 4," the Blue King proposes out coolly before Saruhiko can say a single word.

"I don't think it's a bad idea, Saruhiko," Misaki suddenly says and Saruhiko turns to him with a raised brow. "They never had a chance of seeing the twins yet, what's the harm? Besides, Homra was a family to me once, to us before that turnaround... It won't be right for me if I don't let them visit the twins," he tries to reason with the irate blue clansman. Saruhiko seems to be thinking about it for a minute, the phone still clutched to his hand and pressed against his ear. "Come on Saruhiko, be reasonable,"

Saruhiko wants to laugh when Misaki tells him to be reasonable, since the crow was never reasonable to begin with. Maybe it's just the hormones talking. But as much as I don't want anyone to come in today, he's got a point, Homra watched over him after I betrayed them, it's only fair that he thinks of them as family, at least to that degree, Saruhiko thought with a grumble. After much debating in his head and Misaki's constant pushing, Saruhiko sighs and finally relents. The twins continue to sleep peacefully in their crib.

Hours later, Saruhiko had finished cooking in the kitchen while Misaki stays rested in bed. The crow had wanted to help with the preparations but his other half only told him sternly that he needed to get his energy back up after the surgery. After a short, married couple banter later, Misaki gave up and stayed in bed, leaving Saruhiko to peacefully cook downstairs. In truth, Misaki was worried that Saruhiko would cook only with meat again, but when he smells vegetable soup being brewed, he eases the worry and focuses his attention to taking care of his twin babies.

They had been woken by Misaki's and Saruhiko's slight banter, hence why Misaki was able to stay in bed. After putting them on Saruhiko's side of the bed, Misaki took the time to simply observe them and taking all their little details into his head. Ryuu definitely has Saruhiko's attitude, but looks so much like Misaki while Sasaki looks so much like Saruhiko but her rather brash and couldn't sit still attitude is a carbon copy of Misaki's. The crow only watches in amusement as Sasaki reaches a tiny hand out to pat Ryuu on his chubby cheeks, Ryuu retaliates by pushing away her hand and rubbing his face. This goes on for a while, Sasaki poking Ryuu and Ryuu pushing Sasaki away until the baby boy makes a sound akin to scolding, causing Sasaki to whimper slightly.

"Come on you kids, you should be getting along, not fighting," Misaki reprimands them gently and pats Sasaki as gently as he could to calm her down. It seems even though Ryuu has Saruhiko's attitude, his patience is as limited as Misaki's and the crow doesn't know how to react to that. With the twins now calmed down, he awaits for the guests to arrive as Saruhiko walks up into the bedroom to change clothes. By that time, the twins had resort to a couple of yawning and sleepy little bunch. Seeing his three most precious angels so safe and comfortable, Saruhiko's heart melts away and he was so close to cancelling the gathering.

Misaki saw the warm look and the contemplative expression on the blue clansman's face. "Don't you dare cancel the gathering, everyone wants to see these two and we've promised them," the crow hisses as the twins continue their nap. Saruhiko pouts as Misaki reprimanded him in such a way, but he'd have to go with his word and allow both Homra and Scepter 4 members to visit their children. Plus, knowing his Vice-Captain, she'd probably demand, order and maybe threaten him with overtime if she doesn't get to see the twins. Saruhiko knows how much she like adorable things despite her looks.

"Fine, fine," Saruhiko huffs with a click of his tongue. "Not like I want to make sure you're safe or anything, or warm, or comfortable" he slurs out with a slight pout and Misaki's eye twitch. After changing to a rather pleasant shirt and suitable pants, the blue clansman kisses them all on the forehead before going back down to the kitchen to ensure that everything had been prepared and staying warm. Misaki only smiles gently as Saruhiko disappears from view and knew that the blue clansman meant well.

About half an hour later, the guests finally arrive and Saruhiko welcomes them with a warning to stay quiet as the twins are still sensitive to almost everything, asleep and that Misaki needs rest. Homra and Scepter 4 agree to his conditions easily and he invites them in where Misaki was sitting on the couch and the twins resting in a portable crib. Everyone's hearts melt completely when they saw the sleeping bundle; some even describe the twins as a mini Saruhiko and mini Misaki.

"They're so small and adorable," Anna remarks with a blush on her pale porcelain face and a marble between her fingers so she could see the twins properly. Looking up from the twins, her eyes widen in surprise, happiness and a hint of sadness. "The twins will be constantly watched," she continues and Misaki and Saruhiko quirks their brow when they heard her say that. Many of the Homra members praised and even pat the couple's backs as congratulations and for a job well done while the Scepter 4 members watch in awe at the sleeping twins, their focus mainly on Sasaki.

"This baby looks so much like Fushimi-san," a junior member says and caresses her silky smooth cheeks. Sasaki only coos in her sleep and sniffles once before calming down again causing the junior clansman to blush a deep red at her cuteness. Another member agrees with his friend while Reisi watches over the twins with his usual, but much warmer smile on his face. Seri, along with Izumo and Chiharu, coos over the twins and even plan out some play time with the twins in the nearby future with their little boy; Ichirou.

While Saruhiko entertain the guests, Misaki decides to check over the twins and his interests are peaked when he notices that they were no longer asleep, but watching something above his head. Turning upwards a few times, the crow only quirks a brow when the twins start to coo at whatever invisible things that are there. "I wonder what you kids are looking at, there's nothing there," he murmurs as Saruhiko joins him. Even the other adults who are watching the twins got curious about what they're looking and cooing at; the only one who isn't curious is Anna.

Unknown to anyone, the ghosts of Mikoto and Totsuka who are invisible to all their eyes except the twins' and Anna's are watching over the babies with a gentle smile on their faces. "I'm glad that she has another chance at life, I was surprised that she managed to cling on to Ryuu's soul when that cute Strain girl took him back," Totsuka says with a cheerful smile aiming towards the redhead. Mikoto only snorts a laugh as his eyes never leave Sasaki's form. "But I guess it's time for us to be leaving, the world doesn't need us anymore at least," the vassal continues as he tugs on Mikoto's arm. The Red King slowly relents and follows his vassal away from the happiness, their essence finally disappearing from the known world.

For a while, every stick around until Saruhiko and Misaki deems it was time for their family to settle down for the night. Giving their congratulations for the umpteenth time, both Scepter 4 and Homra members leave for their own homes one by one, Anna being the most disappointed that she has to leave. "It'll be fine, Anna," Saruhiko consults her when she begs him to stay at least for the night. "Look, Misaki and the twins would be just fine for tonight, though I'd appreciate it if you'd still watch over them through your powers. In a couple weeks, I'll let you stay because I'd already need to get back to work, how's that sound?"

Anna nods her head enthusiastically when she hears that before thanking Saruhiko and saying farewell to them both. After making sure that everyone is gone, the blue clansman checks up on his family in the bedroom only to smile happily at the three. Misaki is cradling both of the sleeping twins in his arms and looking extremely content, like there's nothing missing from his life and that he has everything that he ever needed. "Are they all gone?" the crow asks quietly so he won't disturb the sleeping babies. Saruhiko merely nods his head and makes his way to his side of the bed, wrapping Misaki into his arms.

"You know, I never said this, Misaki," Saruhiko says as he nuzzles the crow's head. "Thank you, for everything," he continues and kisses Misaki's temple. The crow only blushes but didn't say anything, only replying to Saruhiko's words with a gentle, loving smile.
