"Talking"

Previously...

The insects within him started buzzing with interest, they wanted to know also. "What did she say?." He asked, more curious despite not showing it.

"Hinata and Sasuke..." He trailed off.

Shino wasn't slow. He knew, but he needed to confirm it. He turned from his team mates and began walking away. Kiba couldn't tell if his friend was upset, angry or anything as he walked.

"Ja ne." Shino said with a wave. 'I hope you know what your doing, Hinata.' He thought.

Chapter Seventeen

Don't Change

Present Day

Manda hissed, the experience Hinata must've had with the medic bitch has made her attacks stronger. Her defense impenetrable. But it wasn't her attacks or defense that made Manda hesitate at times. No, it was those eyes of hers. They were harder, barely readable, dangerous, calculating. Because of these disgusting thoughts of her, he would leave himself open to an attack, thus making the Uchiha on top of his head snarl angrilly.

"If she lands one more blow on you.." Sasuke ground out, "I'll skin you."

The snake hissed, "You said to go easy." He retorted in his defense, he was somewhat truthful on the topic.

Sasuke unsheathed his sword, "Did you say something?." He growled.

Manda hissed and ignored him, he glared at the reason why his life was being threatened. She had her eyes closed. Manda chuckled darkly, she was making this too easy. He decided, without Sasuke's permission, to dive at her. He could hear Sasuke's lightning clattering above his head, so Manda upped the anti also. He gathered half of his chakra, surely she wouldn't be able to dodge this one.

Hinata focused, "Juukenpou Ichigekishin."

Manda's eyes closed. His large head felt as if it had smashed into an iron wall. He hissed then used his tail as a driving force to penetrate her attack. Above him, Sasuke directed his lightning towards her, using his sword to aim.

'She's much stronger.' Manda thought, 'But using an attack instead of evading or defending is pointless. His lightning could kill you, how do you defend against two?.'

Hinata summoned more chakra, it was a blazing blue with a slight hint of purple, "Hakkeshou Kaiten."

Manda's eyes widened, 'Impossible.' He thought. Not only was he being brutally pushed back by her previous attack, but Sasuke's lightning couldn't reach her. Using two jutsu's at once, she had indeed come along way. Sasuke swished his sword to the side, cancelling out his lightning, while Manda could barely lift his head to full height.

"Hinata!." Sasuke murmured, materializing in time to catch her. Her eyes were closed.

"Gomen, Manda-sama." She apologized.

Manda began healing himself, "You did..." He thought about it, then decided he just couldn't hate this damn girl, "...you did good."

Sasuke smirked, "Two jutsus? Eh."

Hinata smiled, she still didn't open her eyes, "Let's continue." She said.

Suddenly, Sasuke shifted Hinata roughly behind him. Sharingan activated, sword in hand, he growled, "Come out."

Manda, completely healed, grabbed Hinata and placed her on his head. By now her eyes were open. She could see the blurry form of her father.

'Tousan?.' She thought, shocked. "Please lower me Manda-sama." She asked.

"Quiet." He snapped. Hinata could feel a dark aura surrounding both Sasuke and Manda. Sasuke's being the worst being his Mangekyou was activated, his right eye slightly bleeding. Hinata gasped. Her father wasn't a threat.

'You can't have her.' Sasuke thought possesively. He looked psychotic, "Amaterasu."

Sasuke's POV

Flashback

Day 14 of Training - 16 MORE DAYS TO GO before Jounin Exam

I smirked as I watched her. Her progress in training was showing definate results. I'd told her not long ago to do warm up laps, followed by press ups and then more laps. She didn't stutter or reprimand me for anything I ordered of her, she just obeyed. I couldn't shake the overwhelming feeling of pride I had for her. Not long ago she was a babbling mess, hesistant, apologetic, but soon came the true kunoichi from within. Just like the first night I met her.

"How many more?." She soon asked me. I hadn't been counting so I randomly picked a number, "One hundred."

Again, she didn't question me and was off in a sprint. My smirk grew. I thought these feelings would have long drifted from me, but they were slowly coming back to me. I'd forgotten them, pushed them aside for revenge. I succeeded in my revenge, attempted to destroy Konoha, then I switched sides. I imagined people calling me bipolar, but I didn't care. Let them say it to my face, I'd gladly run my blade through them. My hand instinctively inched to my sword. I did miss the screams of my victims, I missed the pain etched on there faces, I especially missed how I was the last thing they'd ever see before I killed them.

I removed my hand and crossed my arms. 'I could still kill Naruto.' I thought as my eyes drifted back to Hinata. 'I won't let him have you. Even if you change your mind about me, I won't let you go. Your mine.'

Surely the others have figured this out. The shadow nin definately knew of my intentions with the Hyuuga. Kakashi i'm positive knew. The others I didn't care for. I knew they were watching. Everyday I would feel a new set of eyes watching us from a distance. I even knew the dobe had been somewhat curious and came to watch. I was visibly angry about that, so I took it out on her. She held up her own though and it made me all the more furious. I didn't know whether or not she knew the dobe was watching, but it felt like that particular day she was trying harder.

'I should've killed the dobe when I had the chance.' I thought, growling to myself.

I couldn't control how Hinata felt, but I could definately control her if I was pressured too. I wouldn't let her father have her, I damn well wouldn't let her bastard cousin have her, and I would never, let Naruto have her. I wanted to get this point across to anyone who wanted to challenge me for her. Hinata was mine.

"Ano, I've finished." She said to me, she didn't even look like she'd broken a sweat.

"The dobe..." I say quietly, she could sense my fast rising anger, "..do you miss him?."

She blushed, "Why are you asking..-"

"Answer. The. Fucking. Question." I snapped. I hated how she blushed for him. I wanted to smack it right off her face.

She gathered herself and for a moment she took me offguard, she was now in my personal space, nose to nose almost, "No, I don't." She replied quietly.

"Why are you blushing?." I growl, If she didn't miss him then why blush.

"I thought this was training." She retorted weakly.

I smirked, "Would you be happy if the dobe was here?."

"No."

"I'll kill you..." I whisper, "...if you ever, stray from these eyes."

Byakugan suddenly activated, she took a step back, then brought her palm forward, 'Hakke Kushou.' She murmured.

I dodged her attack with ease then chuckled darkly as I landed, "Tch, mad?."

She shook her head, "It's you.." She whispered.

I raised an eye-brow, "Hn."

Another blush, much darker than the first, appeared on her cheeks, "No one but you."

My possessiveness over her tripled. She was telling the truth, I could tell. Her blush was a definate indication that those words were true. My ego had expanded, my loyalty unknowingly pledged to her, It was too late for anyone else now. I couldn't even stop myself even if I wanted to. Hinata Hyuuga was mine. If I had to repeat this over and over again I would.

I activated my Sharingan, "Enough talking.." I say, I sounded like a hyprocrite but I didn't care, "Attack me."

Her eyes had changed, "Hai." She replied. I felt a tingling inside of me. I was the reason for that change.

End of Flashback

Present Day

"He agreed?." Shikamaru asked.

Kakashi nodded, "After some persuasion." He said looking around, "Where's Naruto?."

"Gone to see Sakura."

The copy nin smiled, "I might pop into see her as...-"

"Forgive me for the interruption." A masked ANBU said, materializing before them, "There's trouble at the Uchiha compound."

'Shit, it's happening already.' Shikamaru thought, "What's going on?."

"Where is the Hokage? I have to inform him immediately." The ANBU member said.

Kakashi slammed open the window, "Gomen, Shikamaru-kun. I'll leave first."

Shikamaru waved him off and the copy nin disappeared. He then looked over at the ANBU member, "Naruto is currently at Haruno Sakura's house. Inform him immediately about the situation and tell him myself and Kakashi will meet him there."

The ANBU member looked up, unsure, "You are not..-"

"Might I remind you I am the Hokage's advisor. Whatever concerns him, concerns me. Now go." Shikamaru ordered calmly.

Said ANBU nodded without question and vanished. Shikamaru followed Kakashi's exit and started running, full speed.

Meanwhile...

"Tsunade-sama."

Tsunade frowned, 'Two visits in one day, I must be popular.' She thought, she'd just finished saying her goodbyes to Kurenai.

She followed the voice and suddenly frowned, "What a surprise. If it isn't Hanabi Hyuuga! What's brings you here?." She paused and noted there surrounding, "To a bar?."

"I was told to give you a message from Kakashi-sensei." The young girl said, staring up at the ex-Hokage with her utmost respect. "He told me to tell you that..."

Tsunade suddenly stood from the table. She didn't need Hanabi to relay Kakashi's message to her, she just knew it had to do with the murderous chakra she could feel building, fast. Ignoring the girl and bursting through the exit of the bar, Tsunade took to running along the rooftops. Ahead of her she could sense Kakashi, not far behind her Shikamaru and the large burst of Sage chakra she felt told her Naruto was almost catching up to her.

'What the fuck is going on?.' She wondered.
