Chapter 33

Tris' POV:

Zeke told me what happened at the party after I left last night. I can't believe he said that to Cara. I'm happy though, but then all I can think is: I kissed his best friend. Should I tell him? Or should I keep it a secret? I don't know what to do. So many thoughts fill my mind and there's no way to stop them. The more I think about it, the more I start freaking out. I should probably talk to Zeke though. I get my phone out and hesitantly type, scared of what he's going to say.

Me: Should we tell him?

Zeke: I don't know. I've been thinking about that too. He might kill me.

Me: He won't kill you because I'm the one who initiated the kiss.

Zeke: That is true…..

I don't text him back, but he sends me another one after a few minutes.

Zeke: You need to tell him. It'll be worse if he finds out from someone else.

Me: Who else would tell him?

Zeke: Well we both know that you're going to tell Christina and she might tell someone else. It would eventually get back to him.

Me: I hate that you're right. Well if I'm not at school on Monday, I'm probably in depression.

Zeke: Do you want me to come back over so I can be there too when you tell him?

Me: No that's okay. I'd rather do it alone.

I take a deep breath and call Tobias.

"Hey Tris I am-"

"Tobias listen." I say cutting him off. "We need to talk."

"Oh god." I hear him take a deep breath through the phone.

"Can you come over in about ten minutes or so?"

"Tris are you okay? You seem a little on edge which tells me that this can't be good."

"I just really need to talk to you."

"Okay. What is this about? Is it about what happened at the party?"

"It has something to do with it. I'd just rather tell you in person, not through the phone."

"Alright Tris. I'll be over in a little while.

And with that, I hang up the phone. I throw it on my bed and notice that my hands are shaking. I go down stairs and get a glass of water, hoping it will calm me down a little, but it doesn't. Telling Tobias that I kissed his best friend will probably be the hardest thing I will ever have to do. I start to walk upstairs when I hear the doorbell. Great.

Sorry, I know that this chapter was short, but it was needed. I will upload another chapter today, I promise. What do ya'll think Tobias will do when he finds out?
