I have realized that this story is rather blue heavy but… more action with the others will come in shortly!

Butch

My head is throbbing, a lot. I didn't sleep well last night, I was too busy thinking about what Buttercup said to me. I wasn't the smartest guy but I'm up there; I just don't have any motivation. I rolled over in my bed and noticed that my door was open. Who the fuck left my door open? Or even came in here? I looked around my room and everything seemed in place. I got out of bed just in my black boxers and looked outside of my room. There wasn't noise in the house. It was 7:00 though, everyone should be up by now. I then heard a creaking noise like from a piece of furniture come from downstairs. I started walking down the stairs where I could see inside the kitchen since our island/bar like set up was the divider between the kitchen and living room.

I saw Brick downstairs with a smile on his face looking out into the living room area, he saw me and motioned with his head over to that area. I took a couple more steps down the stairs to see better, and saw my little brother being straddled by Ashley on the couch with full on play-off tonsil hockey. I couldn't help but ruin this.

"Well well, my baby brother is finally getting some action here. It's about time Boomer, but save it for the bedroom." Their lips parted and Boomer sent a scowl and held up his middle finger towards me. Ashley slightly blushed, but more than anything had an accomplished look on her face. I guess Boomer picked a slut muffin. Just by that face I can already tell that his virginity is not safe.

"Morning Butch!" Ashley then said with the same look on her face. "Keep it in there Ashley!" I shouted as I went into the kitchen and started drinking out of the orange juice carton. "Hey!" Brick grabbed the carton from me. "Other people drink that too, and your mouth has had the most activity." I just smirked and headed upstairs. I grabbed a black crewneck from the floor and slid on some dark blue jeans and my black and white adidas.

Waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs was Boomer, anger clear in his eyes. "What the fuck did you do that for?" he said in a low voice. Here we go. "Boomer, it was a joke. Calm down. If I actually respected her than I probably wouldn't have done that, but she wouldn't have been doing that in the first place if she were respectable." I replied. His face got red. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" he then said. "It means," I started. "A respectable girl wouldn't tongue you with Beth down the hall, a respectable girl wouldn't be proud of that, which she was, and a respectable girl isn't her. Just go after someone else. It'll end a whole lot better, she seems like the type to go psycho." I finished and received a punch in the arm. "You don't know anything about her!" Boomer retorted. "Neither do you bro." I said while poking him in the chest. "Have you forgotten that you haven't been 'dating' for more than 24 hours?" before I strided off into the garage and got in my car.

When driving down the street I saw Bubbles' acadia driving shortly behind mine in the next lane. There was a stoplight coming ahead, we were now next to each other. She wasn't looking at me, she was putting on some Burt's Bees chapstick. Her hair was in a loose braid and it looked like she was wearing a light grey sweater. God she's gotten hot. I can see what Boomer was obsessing over. She then looked over at me, her eyes not wide in shock, just wide with a slight eyebrow raise. Fuck. I'm staring at her. Green light. Go Butch. Fuck now I look as creepy as my brother. I floored the gas pedal in order to get far enough ahead of her. She just went behind me when pulling into the school.

It wasn't exactly a nice day today, a little cold but some sun. There was the typical people chatting in front of the front door entrance. Bubbles seemed to be yelling at Kara about something, Blossom was writing in her notebook while glancing over at the football team for some weird reason, Buttercup was passing a soccer ball with Jared, and Ashley was sitting on Boomer's lap while they talked with Nick and Brandon. Then I saw her, Lindsey Bryant. She was wearing a tight, red sleeveless top and the shortest white shorts that I have ever seen. Paired with red wedges that made her legs go for miles. Now was my chance to approach her since she was talking to Tori Miller and Tori Parus.

I walked up to her, she saw me walking towards her and a small smile formed on her face. "Hey Lindsey, how's it going" I said as I approached her. "Butch, right?" she asked with a tilt of her head. She's so hot. And her teeth are perfect too. This is going to play off perfectly, and Buttercup and all the guys are here to see it. "Yeah," I started out, "So have you considered my offer? I could give you a pretty good time." I finished with a wink. She sighed. "Well… actually I've thought about it for a small amount of time, and I quickly came to the conclusion that you aren't worthy of me. It's not that you aren't hot, it's just that everyone knows who I am, but no one knows who you are. Come back when you have a social status." She said before promptly walked away and left with Tori Parus. Tori Miller turned to me and then said, "Sorry about that, if it makes you feel any better, the cheer squad said she should go on a date with you regardless of your status." before lightly smiling and slightly jogging to catch up with Lindsey and Tori.

I could tell that I looked rather awestruck from her response. Out of all of the reasons, social status really? I've been in this school for 3 days and most everyone knows who I am. That's a pretty fucking developed social status if you ask me. What the hell did she she mean when she said I didn't have a social status? A label? A reputation? She could have fucking elaborated so I could come back in a week. My thoughts were interrupted by Jared putting his hand on my shoulder.

"Sorry about that man," he said, "She's really picky about that shit." He finished saying. I decided to ask him. "What the hell did she mean by me not having a social status? Almost everyone knows who the fuck I am." I stated. "Well," he started out, "People know who you are, but you don't stand out." he said with a shrug of his shoulders. "Well what would you say that I need to do in order to 'stand out' as you put it?" I asked. "Meh," he said while turning his head to the side, "Best bet is to get with someone." he concluded. "Get with someone?!" I repeated in shock, "Why the fuck would I get in a relationship with someone when I want to get with her?!" I asked in pure confusion and anger.

"Whoa!" Jared exclaimed. "I never said relationship bud. I meant a hot, sweaty fuck. Who that person is could boost your status tremendously. Trust me on this." He had a point. At our old school, that was the basic way to gain respect and up your status. But I don't know a lot of girls here besides Lindsey and the Puffs. But they have high social status… So I should just look for girls like them.

"Hey you okay?" said Nick who was now standing next to Jared in front of me. "Yeah I'm fine. But who would you to recommend I take a shot at in order to get me closer to Lindsey?" I asked. "Well," Nick started with a smile on his face. "Pretty much if you get with anyone on the cheerleading squad or the volleyball team then you will definitely get a boost. Especially if Lindsey doesn't like them. But since the cheerleading squad knows of your attempts, there's no way they're in the running." I let out a loud breath of frustration.

"Well what girls on the volleyball team are available?" I asked. "Hmmm…" Jared started, "Well most of them are single since guys are usually to scared to get rejected from them. But Becca and Bubbles I wouldn't ask since they have things with people." Nick then started talking, "Honestly the biggest prizes are Jamie Lee, Jacie, and Kara. Super hot and hardly go out with anyone." Jared cut in, "But Kara is friends with Bubbles so I don't think she'd say yes." Nick rolled his eyes, "No harm in trying. Jared just might get a little jealous if she says 'yes' to you" He finished with a smirk. "Shut the fuck up Nick." Jared said while pushing Nick on the shoulder and then going to join Tori who had returned. I said 'goodbye' to Nick and then proceeded to walk to first hour.

Most of the class was already there: Boomer, Brick, Jared, Bubbles, Kara, and Buttercup were in their seats. Buttercup was having a paper throwing battle between Nick and Jared from across the room. I could see that Brick was setting up his layout for his notes, like always. Fucking brainiac. Bubbles still seemed to be talking with Kara intently about something. I could tell that Boomer was trying incredibly hard not to let his eyes wander over to them. The rest of Bubbles' outfit was jean shorts and white Keds. Kara was wearing light blue skinny jeans, a white camisole with a pink short sleeved cardigan type piece of clothing over it, pink open toed heels, with her hair in a bun. I took my seat behind Boomer, then decided I should at least try something.

"Hey Kara, you look nice today…" I said while turning to face her. Bubbles turned around and looked at me with wide eyes, Kara stared at me with a confused stare before responded a faint, "Thanks Butch.." I could feel Jared staring at me, probably full of anger.

The silence was disrupted by Ashley, "Boomie! We're still on for tonight right?" She asked as she sat on his desk and ruffled his hair. Boomer was taking a while to contain the reddening of his face from that absolutely ridiculous name she just gave him. "Uh… yeah sure? I didn't know we had any plans tonight." he finally replied. "Well actually… I was think we could go back to my place and just… hang out you know?" she said while adding a wink to the end of her sentence. "I just remembered that Bubbles and I, we need to do this project for AP Biology tonight. I hope you don't mind, we just really need to get it done and I need a good grade in that class…" Boomer then said. Ashley's smile didn't falter, her eyes just slightly darkened. "Oh well that's fine," Ashley said, shocking us all. "Then I'll just stop by when you're done, I was planning to stay at your place anyway." I could only try and contain a retort, all while Boomer's face was reddening to a dark shade of crimson.

Nick luckily took the words right out of my mouth, "Two days Ashley? I thought that even you would be able to wait longer." As he flashed a smile and continued on with the paper battle. Ashley just sneered and walked to her seat a few rows ahead. Bubbles finally turned away from Kara, "So I guess we're working on the project tonight then… I'll meet you at your house like at 4:45." Bubbles said while turning right back around to continue talking to Kara. "Yeah…" Boomer quietly replied as a small smile formed on his face.

I wish that Boomer would stop with Ashley and just continue to obsess over Bubbles. The bell suddenly rang. I think I'm going to skip next period. Where to go though? I see a bunch of kids on the bleachers of the football field during the periods. I'll go there, see if I know anyone. I made my way up the bleachers, and up onto the highest set to get a better view of the people around. There was the typical stoners, a few guys kicking around a hackysack, some preppy girls gossiping, and then a couple that was making out in the far upper corner of the bleachers. As I looked at the couple a little longer, I notice the girl has long, stunning red hair. Holy fuck. Blossom is the only girl in the school with hair like that. Who the fuck is she swapping spit with? I have to get closer to see. I slowly, but casually, moved towards the couple; not too close though, I just wanted to see this guy's face. I put in my ear buds and pretended to listen to music while just lazily looking around. The couple finally broke from their kiss, the guy turned around to wipe his mouth. Bryan Avery?! No fucking way. I would never have expected that. Mostly because Bryan is a major dick from what I conclude. Blossom hurried off, while Bryan simply sauntered off slowly. Does Brick know about this?

Blossom

Oh my gosh I really shouldn't have done that. I know we've been seeing each other for a few weeks, but doing that when someone could see just seems so risky. Maybe I should tell someone… like Bubbles! But Bubbles would just tell me how terribly he treats girls, but she doesn't know him like I do. Maybe Buttercup! Well Buttercup wouldn't know what to say about it… and she's terrible at keeping secrets, so she'd accidentally tell someone eventually. Why am I stressing about this? I've kept it for this long, and no one knows anything.

After I made it to second period with an incredibly believable excuse, I headed to gym class. I got changed quickly into my regular gym clothes. I walked out into the gym, I didn't really have any friends here, not including my sisters. I decided to sit next to Bubbles and Kara, they were discussing Bubbles' date with Ross. At least it sounds like she actually had a good time, maybe she'll keep going out with a guy for once. Instead of just a couple of dates then changing her mind.

Brick and his brothers then came into the gym, Ashley in hot pursuit behind them. They came up to us, "Well hello ladies." said Brick before sitting fairly close to me. A quickly shifted more towards Bubbles. Butch then made his presence known, "So umm Blossom," What? "What kind of guys are you into? You seem like the type to go for the Football players, possibly with darker hair perhaps?" What is happening?! There's no way he could have known, unless he… skipped last period… which he seems like the kind of guy that would do that. And just so happened to see me and Bryan by the bleachers, shit. I need to stop him.

"Actually Butch," his name coming out like venom, "I prefer the intellectual type, so I'm not quite sure where you got that assumption from." I countered from his attempt as outing me. He seemed to get the message as his smile faltered and he began talking to Boomer.

"Now Red," Brick then started talking to me, "If I didn't know any better… I'd assume that my brother here was making an attempt to hook us together, considering I carry three out of three with those qualities." Brick acknowledged to follow Butch's previous comment. "That doesn't necessarily mean you're even close to my type," I started to get up off the bleachers, "Red." I spat at him before quickly walking over to Buttercup who was with the other boys.

Wilhelm then came in for us to go our separate ways. The day dragged, like a lot. An incredibly large amount actually. I was meeting Bryan after school since cheer practice was mostly for the JV squad tonight, so all of the varsity cheerleaders had the night off.

I walked down the street to the Townsville Pizza Company and waited outside for Bryan. We tended to meet somewhere like this, just because me getting into his car directly after school would kind of give us away. After about five minutes, Bryan pulled up in his black Volkswagen Jetta. I got into his car and we drove off, we were planning on going up Lake Bellum for the afternoon. It was a quiet and secluded lake, and it was only about fifteen minutes away from town.

We went on opposite sides of the car and changed into our swimsuits. Bryan and I were standing at the end of the dock. Maybe I should try to be more fun like Bubbles and Buttercup, what would they do? I decided to try something, I went slightly farther back than Bryan and decided to push him the water. He fell in and within seconds came back up. I kneeled down laughing and held out my hand to help him up. I was fully expecting a chick-flick moment to happen and for him to pull me into the water with him.

He grabbed my wrist firmly. His eyes dark, he looked angry. Then, he spoke, "Don't ever do that again, got it?!" He shouted at me, "It's not cute. It's fucking dumb. Do that again and you'll regret okay?" I was speechless. "Got it?!" Bryan yelled in my face. I simply nodded while trying not to burst into tears. He then pulled himself up out of the water, put his headphones in, and lay down on the dock and started to tan. I shouldn't have tried to do that. That was stupid of me. What was I thinking, that wasn't fun, that was childish.

Boomer

She's here. In my house, playing with my cat named Oliver. My god, six hours of her being here. What if she wants to go in my room? I know she's over the whole art thing, but I have a shit ton of paintings in there. I should hide them before we even get there.

"I uhh.." I gained her attention, "I have to take a piss. Be right back." I said before running upstairs, leaving her with a confused expression on the couch. I burst into my room, there was canvas everywhere. Where should I hide these? I don't think that there will be enough room in my closet. Butch's room is just a mistake waiting to happen, Brick wouldn't mind that much. I put all that could fit into my own closet, or mostly the more embarrassing ones that I don't want my brothers to see. I had about five larger ones that I didn't have room for in my closet, I began carrying them to Brick's room.

"What are you doing?" I had two of my paintings in my hand when I turned around to see Bubbles looking at me with a concerned expression. I stopped in my tracks. "My room was just kind of crowded and I was wondering if you wanted to move the observation up into there since my brother's will be home soon." She looked at me quizzically with those big blue eyes. She began to speak, "I suppose we can. I'll go get my bag." As she awkwardly walked back down the stairs to retrieve her belongings.

We were sitting on my bed, watching some reality show. I should try and talk to her, we still have four hours together. "Do you want something to eat?" I asked her. She looked at me with a surprised expression, "I'm fine." she said, before turning back to the television. "Why were you hiding your paintings?" She then asked me. Fuck. What do I say? Do I show her? Why the fuck would I show her, I have a fucking painting of a girl that looks remarkably like her!

"I just- they were just taking up so much space in here I thought I should clear them out." I responded. That was a pretty decent excuse if I do say so myself. "Then why did you say that you were going to the bathroom?" she retorted. Shit. I did say that. "Okay, I really was hiding them from you. I thought you would think that I was lame or childish that I still paint when you obviously don't." I admitted to her. I looked up at Bubbles' beautiful face, she held an emotionless expression on it.

"Can I see them?" she then asked me. Before even thinking, I said, "Yeah, you can see them."

The fuck am I doing. I opened my closet to reveal my paintings that had previously been in hiding. She went inside of the small closet, and looked at them all carefully. She finally spoke, "You're really good Boomer." was all she said, but it was with a smile. I couldn't help but smile brightly.

"Thanks, my brother's say it's a waste of money to buy all of this painting stuff, but I like doing it." I then said. I can't believe I just said that out loud, and to her. She's the entire reason I got into art. I would always see how she would be doodling and drawing in grade school, and yes I made fun of her, but she always looked like she was enjoying herself.

"Why did you stop?" I asked her. She looked at me, then looked down. She started playing with her sleeve and said, "Well, I stopped because my artistic level stayed at a childhood level, meaning right now, the best I can draw is at a seven year old level at maximum." she finished her sentence with a small chuckle, then picked up another one of my paintings. An underwater landscape was the one she chose. Brushing her fingers over the canvas, looking over the painting.

"Do you have a creative outlet or anything like that?" I suddenly asked her. She tore her eyes away from my painting and raised her eyebrows in amusement. "Why do you ask?" she replied. I have not a single clue on why I asked her this question. I choked out a response. "Well since Buttercup, I'm assuming lets it all out on sports, and Blossom with academics… what do you do?" I sort of sound like an asshole now, great.

She looked at me, "Actually I started to write, just poems and stuff like that. Nothing really that serious. Mostly just in a journal on occasion." She replied with a slight blush spreading on her face. I'm assuming that she's never told anyone this. She's probably the most popular girl in school, no one would ever assume that she has to let out her feeling and emotions, she appears to have none to most people. Just Bubbles; the friendly, athletic, beautiful girl that barely lets anything or anyone in or out. I broke from my thoughts of Bubbles.

"What one is your favorite?" I asked. She looked at my with a quizzical expression. "I mean of my paintings, which one do you think is the best or that you like or something…?" I elaborated on my random previous question. Since my paintings were now out of the closet, they were all leaning against pieces of furniture in my room. She walked around them, looking at each one to make her decision.

"Well," she finally said, "I think that your best painting is this one." She said while picking up a painting of a mystical forest, I wasn't really quite sure what I was thinking when I painted that. It looks straight out of a fairy tale, and I'm pretty sure that I was smoking grass when I painted it. I do have to admit that it is one of the better paintings that I've done though.

She then continued her statement, "But this one is my favorite." She picked up a landscape of Townsville at night. I got the view from the top of Lumpkin peak, It was quite an effort to get up there with all of my supplies, but It was worth it. "Do you want it?" I suddenly asked her out of the blue.

"What?!" She exclaimed, her expression changing from serenity to shock in a split second. "I couldn't take this from you. This is an amazing painting that must have been difficult to get to the location to even do this painting in the first place. I really like it, but no Boomer, I can't take this." she said, then set the painting pack to leaning against my bed. She was very considerate, and that was nice… but I have a lot of paintings as is. I wouldn't mind letting her of all people have one. "Alright well if you change your mind, just let me know..." I stated to her. She simply nodded her head and started neatly placing all of the paintings together. I did see a small smile on her face though, that's a pretty good start.

It was almost 7:00. My brothers got home a long time ago, they just decided not to bother me. Butch had been make comments the entire day about how perfect it would be if I made a move on her. He really hates Ashley, but he hardly even knows her! Even if I had enough confidence to try that, it would probably be incredibly awkward and I would embarass myself somehow; not to mention that she probably deny me, so there's that too. I had been continuously asking her if she would like anything to eat, but she still says "No" every time I asked her. It was clear that she didn't want to ask for food, or see my brothers, or both.

We started to watch a movie, 'The Dark Knight Rises' to be exact. She said she didn't really care on what movie we watched, but I could tell that she was excited when I chose that one.

Bubbles continued to watch the movie, I went downstairs to get her something to eat, and I was hungry too for that matter. I went downstairs to be greeted by Beth doing the dishes and Brick and Butch playing a videogame on the TV in the den.

"We had spaghetti." Beth said, "We saved enough for you two, we just didn't want to bother you." Beth was probably the most considerate 'parent' that we could ask for. She doesn't get in our space or pressure us to do unrealistically at school. I made up two plates, one for me and one for Bubbles. When I went back up to the room, she was on her side, not facing me, asleep. How do I approach this situation? Do I poke her? Shake her? Just let her sleep? I'll just try making enough noise to wake her up.

"Oh Bubbles! I hope you like spaghetti because that's what Beth made and who doesn't like spaghetti?! Am I right?" I practically shouted in hopes to get her to roll over of give some indication that I disturbed her slumber. For some reason I thought that jumping on the bed was the best solution after she didn't stir. I produced to jump around the bed, causing her to grumble at the sudden commotion going on around her. Her eyes fluttered suddenly and she sat up while saying in a groggy voice, "What is going on right now?" I stopped jumping to respond.

"Sorry. I um... I brought you some spaghetti but you were asleep so I uhh... Didn't know how to wake you up." She just looked at me, then to the spaghetti that I had set on the bedside table. "Oh," she said softly. "Well thank you for waking me up in such a unique fashion." She started to eat and continued to watch the movie. Was that an attempt at flirtation? Or her just being nice? Maybe she was even being sarcastic…

"I'm sorry that I did that. It was kind of stupid." I said while dropping my head down. God that was really embarrassing now that I think about it. She looked at me with her eyes, then she tilted her head in the cutest way, slanted her eyes and said, "It was actually refreshing, and almost cute. Better than how my sisters used to wake me anyways." She finished her statement with small smile.

My phone then buzzed, I got a text from Ashley. I actually can't make it tonight, I have to study for a quiz. :( but seriously if captain Barbie touches you then she's done. Just a reminder Boomie! That was almost nauseating. Alright Ashley, I'll see you tomorrow. she then sent a smiley face. Oh shit. The party is tomorrow night. With Bubbles, and Ashley, and my brothers, and multiple opportunities for something terrible to happen.

Next chapter is the party! There will be a large amount of drama for all the puffs and all of the ruffs too! I've had a really hard time writing this, I've been very busy lately! But I'll try and get the next chapter up soon!
