A/N: Well here we are, the last chapter of the Binding of Naruto. I hope you all enjoyed this story as much as I have writing it. Yes I know it hasn't been two months, I just had a lot of free time over spring break. Nothing like writing fan fiction instead of hanging out with friends! Naruto's jaw dropped open as he looked around the inside of the chest. It was the same size as every other room he had been in, and it also had a door headed to the North! The floors of the chest appeared to be made of some sort of varnished wood, and the base of the walls and where the walls connected where covered in gold!
'That chest must have teleported me to some chest based place,' Naruto thought 'I hope this is the end. I can't take another hit. The only reason I'm still alive is because of that strange shield.'
Naruto shook his head, clearing his thoughts of death.
'I can't think like this! I defeated the Kyuubi! I can take on whatever comes my way.'
Naruto walked towards the Northern door, took a deep breath, and stepped through.
Upon entering the room, Naruto saw what appeared to be a large orange maggot. The maggot had a closed mouth with two beady eyes that showed boredom.
When the maggot saw Naruto entering the room, it let out a growl, and opened its mouth, showing a large row of surprisingly human teeth. The maggot then charged at Naruto at a breakneck pace.
Hardly having any time to react, Naruto sidestepped out of the way, making the maggot charge into the now closed door. Naruto prepared to sink his kunai into the maggot, but the maggot quickly faced him, and started to charge again.
Having to sidestep one more time, Naruto growled in frustration as he watched the maggot charge across the room.
'This thing is not letting me do anything. It keeps charging after it passes me, but it is so fast I don't have time to aim! There must be a way to kill hi-,' Naruto's thoughts were interrupted as he watched the maggot grumble.
The maggot shook slightly, and there was a loud pop and a plume of smoke.
As the smoke cleared, Naruto saw what appeared to be two smaller versions of the maggots next to it.
'Great. Now I have to kill, erm what's a good name for something that chubby? How about Chub!' Naruto quickly shook his head, 'Now is not the time to be naming things that are trying to kill me! I have to kill her and her babies before I die!'
The two little maggots started to wander around the room, while Chub faced Naruto once more and began to charge.
Naruto moved towards chub, and sidestepped at the last second. He then quickly threw his kunai at the two smaller maggots, hoping he could kill them before he found out what they did.
The kunai cut through one of the maggots, and continued to fly past it.
Hearing a growl, Naruto turned and saw Chub starting to shake. Naruto's eyes lit up, as an idea came to him.
Ignoring the loud pop from Chub, Naruto ran towards his kunai. He caught the kunai and turned around, and saw Chub starting to charge at him. Looking to his right, Naruto saw a maggot next to him. The maggot started to swell, and it opened its mouth, firing a small bullet of blood, and vomit.
Naruto jumped towards the maggot, dodged the bullet, and threw his kunai at it. The kunai impaled the maggot, killing it. As the kunai returned, Naruto quickly jumped out of the way of the oncoming Chub.
Chub turned towards Naruto, and charged once more at him, only for Naruto to sidestep out of the way once more.
Smiling, Naruto threw his kunai at the maggots across from him, as Chub charged into a wall. Naruto ran towards the maggots, as his kunai cut through one. The other maggot appeared to dodge the kunai, but at the last second turned around, and impaled itself on the kunai.
'Well that was strange. Why would it kill itself like that? I think it would know better than to touch something that killed its friends,' thought a confused Naruto as he caught his kunai, 'Oh well. I just hope this plan works.'
Hearing a growl, Naruto smiled as he quickly turned around and threw his head at the shaking Chub. The kunai sailed through the air, and cut through Chub, causing her to explode.
Hearing the sound of doors opening, Naruto smiled at the success of his plan.
'Why does everything explode as well? I guess this adventure has just been filled with strange things.'
Looking around the room, Naruto saw that there was now a door leading to the east.
Naruto took a deep breath and walked towards the door.
'Well, that wasn't too bad. I just have to be careful.' Naruto thought as he walked into the next room.
Hearing the door slam shut behind him, Naruto looked around for his enemy.
In the center of the room was a large head suspended from the ceiling by what appeared to be four legs made out of human bones tied together with muscle and tendons. The head had grey skin, and four eyes, like a spider. Below the eyes was what appeared to be four broken teeth, and a tongue sticking out from the bottom of the monster.
The monster looked at Naruto, and smiled. The head was then lifted up in the air by it's legs.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at the monster, and started to walk towards it. Suddenly, a large boney leg slammed down in front of him.
Startled, Naruto jumped backwards. Looking around the room, Naruto saw three other legs resting on the ground. All four legs then lifted back up to the ceiling, and the monster lowered it's head to be barely above the ground.
Seeing an opportunity, Naruto threw his kunai at the head. As the Kunai neared the monster, it lifted itself up into the ceiling.
Naruto grunted in frustration, and caught his kunai. He then started to move around the room, while making sure to watch for any shadows to indicate an attack.
As predicted from his previous encounters with ceiling dwellers, Naruto saw a shadow closing in on him. Naruto continued to move around the room, and threw his kunai at the shadow. As a leg slammed on the floor, the kunai severed the leg.
Naruto smiled at his success, but noticed a second shadow underneath him. He continued to run away from the shadow as he caught his kunai.
As he turned to throw the kunai, Naruto saw the second leg rise in the air.
'Well that's two legs. I bet the other two are going to come down as well. Better keep moving'
His theory proved true, as a third leg came crashing down behind the ever moving Naruto. Turning around quickly, Naruto threw his kunai at the leg, severing it. Naruto continued to move around the room, and caught his kunai as he heard the fourth leg smash the ground.
'Okay that's all the legs, now wh-'
Naruto's thoughts were interrupted as the head of the monster's head slammed down next to him, sending out eight bullets in all directions. He quickly jumped backwards in a panic to avoid two of the bullets near him.
The monster started to cough as Naruto calmed himself from the monster's attack. Naruto heard what sounded like a cough and turned to see the monster coughing out two spiders. Seeing an opportunity, Naruto threw his kunai at the monster.
The kunai cut through the two spiders as they left the monsters mouth, and sunk itself into the maw of the beast.
The monster stopped its movement and looked at Naruto and frowned. Suddenly, the monster vanished, and the doors opened.
'Well at least it didn't explode,' thought Naruto.
Naruto looked around the room and saw the Eastern wall had a door. As Naruto was walking to the door, he felt the grip on his kunai slip. Looking down, he saw the paper bomb he had wrapped around it earlier.
'Oh I completely forgot about this. I should probably use this against whatever's in this next room.'
Wrapping the paper bomb around the kunai, Naruto walked through the door.
With the familiar sound of doors shutting, Naruto threw his kunai blindly into the room. As the kunai reached the center of the room, Naruto activated it, causing a large explosion in the center of the room.
Naruto looked around the room, and saw what appeared to be two junior sized blue Gurdys exploding. However, Naruto also saw a red miniature Gurdy that appeared to be unscathed from the paper bomb.
The red Gurdy Jr. looked at Naruto and started to slide towards him at incredible speed. Seeing the large blob of fat and intestine coming at him, Naruto jumped into the corner of the room. To Naruto's horror, Gurdy Jr. just turned towards him.
Naruto started to run from Gurdy Jr., but was trapped.
'Oh no this is the end isn't it!' thought Naruto in a panic, 'Well I guess there is only one thing I can do.'
Naruto held out his kunai as Gurdy Jr. charged towards him.
As Gurdy Jr. charged into Naruto, it hit the kunai first. Gurdy Jr. exploded, covering Naruto in blood, intestine, and quite possible poop.
Naruto instantly vomited violently.
'Well I guess that was better than dying,' thought Naruto as spat out the remaining bile in his mouth, 'But why were the previous two rooms so much harder than this? Not that I'm complaining, but it doesn't make sense!'
Naruto looked around the room and saw there was a door leading south. As Naruto neared the door, he saw that there was a skull above the door. He gulped as he walked towards the door.
Just when he started to enter the door, Naruto saw a blue flicker in the corner of his eye. Turning his head, Naruto saw what appeared to be a light blue heart where the two blue Gurdy Juniors were. Naruto stopped going towards the door and walked to the heart.
As Naruto looked at the heart, he was reminded of the dark blue haired woman. Naruto leaned over and touched the heart. As soon as his fingers touched it, it flashed white, and was gone.
'What was that?' Thought Naruto.
He looked down at his hands and saw that his skin now had a very faint blue glow.
'Whatever it was, I feel a bit safer now.'
Naruto walked back to the door, and looked down at his kunai. He unwrapped the polaroid from the kunai and looked at them.
'How did these things not get destroyed by the bomb? Something strange is going on here,' thought Naruto as he walked through the door.
Once again, Naruto was surprised at what awaited him.
In the middle of the room was a child lying in the center of the room, just like Naruto's doppelganger. This child, however, appeared to be dead. Its skin had turned blue, as if it had died in the cold or had been suffocated. The child's eyes were missing, and the eyeless sockets appeared to have tears running from them. Finally, the child's mouth was stuck in a permanent frown.
Naruto walked towards the child, kunai ready to strike, but he was surprised when the Blue Baby didn't attack him.
'This must be like killing myself,' thought Naruto, 'He won't attack, unless I attack him.'
Naruto walked to the Western wall, and threw his kunai at the Blue Baby. As the kunai hit baby, a stream of white tears, and purple tears shot at Naruto.
Recognizing the purple tears as homing tears, Naruto quickly moved along the western wall to cause the homing tears to collide on the wall.
Catching the returning kunai, Naruto took a deep breath in, but was interrupted when he saw Blue Baby shoot out a mixture of twelve homing and non-homing tears, as well as summoning three flies.
Naruto avoided the oncoming tears, and forced the homing tears to splash against the wall. He then threw his kunai at the Blue Baby.
The kunai hit, causing Blue Baby to release a flurry of tears once more. Naruto dodged the tears easily, but saw that the flies summoned by Blue Baby were nearing, and to make matters worse, Blue Baby had just fired twelve more tears around the room.
Naruto swiped at the flies, managing to kill one, but was forced to move so he wouldn't get hit by the tears.
After dodging the tears, Naruto returned his focus to the flies, and quickly dispatched them with three swipes of his kunai. He then turned towards Blue Baby, and threw his kunai at it.
As the kunai sunk into the child, a great white light shined on it. The child then stood up and looked up towards the ceiling.
'Just like me,' thought Naruto.
Quickly shaking the thoughts from his head, Naruto threw his kunai once more at Blue Baby. The Blue baby retaliated by shooting a stream of tears at Naruto, as well as firing four large homing tears at him, and summoning four more flies.
Naruto looked at the mixed stream of tears, and growled. He then threw his kunai at the nearing flies. As the stream of tears came close, Naruto jumped to the south, causing them to splash against the wall.
Looking back towards Blue Baby, Naruto saw one of the large homing tears coming towards him, and two flies coming at him behind it.
Naruto quickly dodged the homing tear, and quickly killed the two flies with his kunai. He prepared to throw his kunai at Blue Baby, and as he turned, he came face to face with a large purple tear.
While Naruto had been busy killing the flies and dodging the tears, Blue Baby had fired four more homing tears at him.
Naruto closed his eyes as the homing tear crashed into him, pushing him into the wall.
Noticing a lack of pain, Naruto opened his eyes and saw that the glow from the light blue heart had gathered and was stopping the tear from hitting him.
Naruto looked towards Blue Baby, and saw that the shield from the polaroid was covering him once more.
'That heart must have restored the polaroid's power,' thought Naruto, 'I can't waste this opportunity.
Naruto ran towards Blue Baby, allowing all of the tears coming from it splash on his shield.
When Naruto neared Blue Baby, he took his kunai in both hands, and jumped on him.
Naruto started to repeatedly stab into the blue baby as fast as he could. Every time he stabbed the child, Naruto felt his arms grow heavy. Naruto ripped off part of the child's face with his kunai, as the Blue Baby grew wings, and started to fly in the air.
Naruto saw that his shield was starting to flicker, and renewed his attacks once more. Every strike was aimed to kill, hitting the Blue Baby in the throat, head, and heart.
With every strike, pillars of light crashed from the ceiling, breaking holes in the chest. Loud screams could be heard coming from Blue Baby, and Naruto.
Naruto watched as his shield faded, and let out a roar.
With one last strike, Naruto cut off the head of the Blue baby.
The child, let out one final cry, as it covered its body with its wings and arms, and flew off into the pillar of light, leaving Naruto lying on the ground.
Naruto looked up at the ceiling and smiled.
'I did it! I won! It's finally over!'
A white haired man smiled as he walked through the gates of Konoha.
His long, spiky, white hair framed his hair, and was in a ponytail that went down his back. He was wearing a red vest over a dark green gi. On his back was a large scroll. On his forehead was a forehead protector with the kanji for oil. Lastly he had two red marks running down his cheeks.
This man was Jiraiya, Sannin of Konoha.
'Oh Konoha, land of many beautiful women!' thought Jiraiya with a chuckle, 'There is nowhere these women can hide from this sexual tyrannosaurus! But first, I have to check up on Kushina-chan. Mmm Kushina-chan.'
Jiraiya started to drool as he was thinking of the lovely form of Kushina, and walked straight into a pole. He let out a cry of pain, as he started rubbing his forehead.
'Gah! I have to pay attention when I'm thinking of such a lovely specimen! Besides, if she knew I was thinking of her like this, she'd stomp me into the ground.'
Jiraiya continued his musing as he walked towards the Namikaze estate.
The estate wasn't that impressive, it barely even qualified as an estate. It was merely a nice house on top of a small hill.
Jiraiya walked up to the front door and knocked.
After a minute, Jiraiya knocked on the door again.
'That's strange. Every other time she's been gone, she's left a note. Maybe she forgot.'
Once more, Jiraiya knocked on the door.
'I guess I'll wait for a while.'
For two hours, Jiraiya waited, yet no one came.
Jiraiya knocked on the door once again.
"Kushina?! I'm coming in!" yelled out Jiraiya in a worried tone.
Jiraiya kicked down the door in a single kick. He then moved into the house, and looked around the living room.
'Hmm this place seems quite dirty. Wait. I think I smell something.'
Jiraiya sniffed around the room, and his face instantly paled.
In his ninja career, there was one smell over everything he had learned. The smell of a rotting corpse.
Jiraiya rushed left the living room, towards the smell. He followed the smell to the kitchen. He peered into the kitchen and let out a cry.
On the ground was the bloated corpse of Kushina. Her body was missing chunks of skin, as if something had been eating at it.
Looking closer at the corpse, Jiraiya saw that maggots were eating Kushina's body. Jiraiya choked back tears, and bile as he examined the corpse.
He what appeared to be a kunai would running across her chest. Jiraiya reached down and pushed back Kushina's clothes and left breast, and saw that there was a large hole where her heart used to be.
"Oh my God," muttered Jiraiya. Looking around the kitchen, Jiraiya saw a trail of blood leading down the hallway.
'No. Please not that way,' thought Jiraiya, 'Please for the love of God, let the trail end.'
Jiraiya followed the trail of blood to a door.
Tears started flowing rapidly down Jiraiya's face rapidly as he looked at the door. On the front was a sign.
"Naruto's room," Jiraiya read aloud.
With shaky hands, Jiraiya turned the knob to Naruto's room.
Looking in, Jiraiya let out a breath of relief, as he didn't see Naruto's body in the room.
'He may be safe,' Jiraiya thought, 'He's probably with the old man right now. Actually, he's probably at Ichiraku's, stuffing ramen down his face.'
Jiraiya let out a dry chuckle, and wiped the tears from his face.
'Either way, I better look around so I can find who did this.'
Jiraiya started searching Naruto's modest room. There wasn't much in his room, only a bed, a toy chest, and a rug.
Finding nothing in the room, Jiraiya started to leave, when he heard a crunching sound. Looking down, he saw that he stepped on a piece of picture. He leaned down, and picked up the picture.
On the picture was what appeared to be Naruto drawn in crayon, fighting a large blob of fat. Underneath the blob of fat was "Monstro."
Jiraiya Looked around the room, and saw many more drawings on the ground. On one painting was what looked like an eyeless child crying blood, while another had a drawing of a tri-pronged kunai.
The picture of the kunai caused Jiraiya some confusion.
'How would Naruto know what that specific kunai looks like? Kushina stored them with the Hirashin scroll and notes.'
Jiraiya continued looking at the stack of drawings, and saw a drawing of a dark blue haired girl, with glowing white eyes, and angel wings. The angel appeared to be picking up Naruto, and giving him a white tri-pronged kunai.
Jiraiya was about to put the angel drawing aside, when he noticed that the Naruto in the picture appeared to be covered in blood. Jiraiya touched the bloodied Naruto, and his eyes narrowed.
The blood on the picture was real blood.
Jiraiya looked down, and he saw a barely notable trail of blood. He looked at the trail, and saw it lead to on top of Naruto's toy chest.
Jiraiya waked over to the chest, and saw three drawings on top of it.
The first was that of Naruto fighting himself. One of the Naruto's had a kunai, while the other was using wings to fly. Surrounding both of the Naruto's was a list of the seven deadly sins.
The second picture caused Jiraiya to start panicking, for it was a picture of Naruto fighting the Kyuubi.
'This. This is just a coincidence. That is all it is' Thought Jiraiya.
The drawing showed Naruto throwing a white kunai at the Kyuubi, who was firing a Tailed Beast Bomb at Naruto.
Jiraiya's panic returned full force as he recognized the Tailed Beast Bomb.
'Was it the Kyuubi? Did it break free? No, the seal would have stopped it.'
The last drawing showed Naruto inside a chest, fighting a blue child.
Jiraiya looked at the chest in the picture, and then at the toy chest.
The chests looked the same.
"No," whispered Jiraiya, "It's something he sees every day. It's not possible."
Jiraiya turned around, and walked towards the door.
As he reached the door, Jiraiya turned around, and walked to the chest.
Jiraiya grabbed the lid and threw it open.
Jiraiya looked inside the chest and fell to his knees.
Inside the chest was a child whose skin was blue from oxygen deprivation. On the child's face where three whisker marks on each cheek, and a head of spiky blonde hair. In the child's right hand was a kunai, with a heart impaled upon it, and in his left, was a polaroid.
Tears rushed down Jiraiya's face as he looked at the dead body of his godson. Jiraiya grabbed the sides of the chest, and let out a loud sorrowful cry.
