Chapter 5

A week had passed since that day when Momoi told Rika about a stupid random rumour about her being married to Kise. She had been avoiding Kise whenever he was within sight.

But so far, Kise hadn't done or said anything about it, but it was better that way, it was better to be away from eachother cause being around eachother would piss both of them anyways.

But if being in the same room was inevitable, it's either their fight would last longer or it would end shortly with Rika leaving the room.

It was a boring Saturday afternoon, everyone seemed to be busy with their own things so she was left alone at home. Her twin brother left seconds ago to meet up with his team mates to watch a basketball match outside town. Her parents were out at who knows where and so she was left home alone with the maids and butlers. She lied on her stomach on the bed and looked around her room.

She spotted the pair of running shoes beside the door and decided what she could do for the rest of the afternoon. The weather wasn't too hot outside, the sky was cloudy and it was rather cool outside, so she made up her mind to go jogging .

She changed into a pair of black shorts which only reached above her mid thighs, she wore a white sports bra and also a black sleeveless hoodie over it which she zipped half way. She tied her hair up into a messy bun and put on a pair of socks and the black, neon blue and pink running shoes. She clipped her mp3 played on her shorts and plugged the earphones into her ears. She went out of the house, slipping on her black ray bans and stretched properly before she took off.

3 hours later (3:15pm),

Rika had been running continuously with her head pre-occupied with a lot of things, she even ran to the town area where she saw quite a few others who were jogging as well and some were on their bicycles, since it wasn't that far from her house. She stopped at a cafe to buy a bottle of water since she felt dehydrated but at the counter realized how she forgot to bring her money.

She laughed nervously and bowed to apologize and told the cashier that she forgot the money and didn't need the water anymore. The cashier laughed at Rika and nodded. She left the shop with slumped shoulders, 'I'll just drink my saliva.' Rika thought sadly to her self.

She sat on the bench outside the cafe, to rest for a while. She checked the time on her mp3 and saw how it took her 3 hours to get to from home to when she was now. Now, she had to back home while being all dehydrated and with sore feet, what if she passes out on the way? She felt like an idiot for forgetting about her phone too. So she couldn't contact anyone to pick her up.

While she was deep in her own thoughts, she jumped when she felt something cold on her cheek all of a sudden. She touched her cheek and looked at what it was. Much to her horror, she saw the blond idiot she hated so much. She looked at what he was holding out.

A bottle of cold water.

She gulped at the sight of it. But looked away "What are you doing here?" She said with crossed arms.

Kise rolled his eyes behind his ray bans. He moved to the front of the bench and sat beside her. "I was jogging around here if you can't tell from my attire." He had a pair of baggy black shorts which reached his knees and clasped around his knees. He had a black and neon blue hoodie over his dark gray tank top. Something they didn't even realize was that they wore the same running shoe model, just that kise had the black, orange and neon blue one.

"Don't want the water? Fine, I bought it for you since I thought you'd want it when I saw you bowing to the cashier. Some thing about you forgetting your money to buy the water?..." He turned to see her looking the other way from him with pursed lips and blushing cheeks.

'WHY'D HE HAVE TO BE THERE WHEN IT HAPPENED?! WHY HIM?!' Rika thought.

Kise was actually amazed at the fact that this stubborn girl would blush like this too. He pursed his lips to stop himself from laughing and looked the other way. After a few seconds he turned to her again to catch her off guard while she was staring at the bottle he was holding.

"I thought you didn't want it." He stated.

She glared at him and looked away once again, "I don't need it."

Kise shook his head and put the cold bottle against her neck and as expected, she jumped again form the shock.

"God damnit! Stop doing that~" She accidentally said it in a whining tone. But cleared her throat.

"Just take the water." He said as he put it on her bare lap which made her pick it up quickly since it was cold.

He got up and said "It wasn't nice seeing you here, but I'm going to jog back now. Hope I don't see you at college on Monday." it was basically the opposite of what people would say when bumping into a college mate some where.

He had to go soon cause he was catching attention after staying in one spot for everyone.

But just when he took his first step to go away, he felt a tug on his shirt. He looked back and raised an eyebrow at Rika who tugged his shirt.

He waited for her to say something, but she didn't. He looked around and saw some people slowing down from their walk and turning their heads at Kise. The news with his pictures out made others more know what he basically looked like when trying to hide himself away.

He turned to Rika and whispered "If you want to say something, say it~ I have to go, cause I'm catching attention."

Rika looked around and realized he wasn't kidding. "I-I...Can I borrow your phone? I need to contact my house." She asked.

He sighed and asked "You forgot your phone as well?" He looked around and knew this needed to be fast. He took out his phone, and lent it to her. He could've just left this old enemy of his. But if she is asking help from even him, then it must have meant that he should help out. He had a feeling that if he left her now, she wouldn't get back home or something.

He wasn't mean enough to have her missing or lost.

But the whole process wasn't fast enough to avoid the fans who were starting to confirm it was him. He looked at Rika again and grabbed her wrist. "Lets just do this in my car yeah?"

"Hey he's being so secretive. I'm sure that's him if he's trying to hide himself." Someone said. "Who's that girl?! Is that another of the girls he's sleeping with?"

Rika looked up and saw the gathering fans and heard what they said about her. She furrowed her eyebrows and was about to retort back but Kise covered her mouth and pulled her hoodie up.

"Shit. It's too late." He mumbled and rushed to his car with Rika who was trying to keep her hoodie up as they jogged to his car. She didn't have to look back to know they were following them.

Kise too his keys out when he saw his car at the side of the side walk. He unlocked the car and told Rika to get in.

Once inside the car, Kise sighed as he took off his ray bans and started the car. He saw the fans taking pictures of his car even though they wouldn't be able to see the people inside thanks to the tainted windows.

He drove away to get away form the fans.

"Where are you bringing me?" Rika asked sounding a little freaked out.

"Away from the crowd." He replied with an annoyed tone and turned to her only to see her giving him a suspecting look.

"What? Oh come on, It's not like I'm going to bring you to the jungle to rape you!" He said as he stopped at the red light.

Rika gasped at what he said and looked at the locked doors. She sat with her back against the door defensively.

Kise face palmed himself and said "I'm not going to do that!"

Rika sighed in relief and sat normally on the passenger seat again. She put on her seat belts this time. "Well, It's not like I could trust you off the bat like other people do." She said and took out his phone out of her pocket to call her home.

But when she was at the dialing pad, the screen froze.

"Eh?..." She tried tapping the screen and pressing the screen off button. But nothing happened. She took off her ray bans.

"What?..." Kise asked as he drove to a safer area and searched for a parking there.

"Nothing..." She lied, and tried to fix the bug. But the more she tried to fix it the screen flickered and froze in a pixilated screen. "...f*ck."

Kise parked right at the same time she said it. He looked at her trying to hide the screen away from him. "What?..." But when she was just staring at his phone screen, he started to think she was going through the private part of his phone.

He tried to snatch it away but she pulled it away. "What are you- Give me- phone~!" He stopped between sentences when ever she avoided his reach.

He un buckled his seat belts since she was hiding it in between her seat and the door. He reached for it but she shook her head.

"No no no no no noooooo~!" Rika kept on saying every time he almost got it.

He faced her since he had his top half on her side. He frowned at her "Why are you hiding my phone away?"

"I- uhh...you're too close-" She said backing up into her seat. He then noticed the distance between their bodies. He didn't know why but it was making him feel embarrassed. But he could use this to make her give his phone back.

"I'll bite your ear if you don't give my phone back." He said, much to his surprise, what he said had made her blush.

"Don't say such stupid things! You blonde idiot!" She said.

"T-Then give it back or I really will bite your ear.." He replied back, feeling a blush creeping up his cheeks too. He didn't know why the hell he'd be like this when he'd done so much more with other women.

She bit her lip, thinking if she gave his phone back, he would kill her in his car or something.

He leaned in to her ear, she had her other free hand on his chest, but somehow wasn't pushing him away much. They hadn't moved from this position for a while, and a familiar tension was somehow building up between the two.

But when she felt his tongue running against her ear instead of a bite, it was as if an electric wave running through her veins. "nngh~" She accidentally let out and before she realized it, she had the phone up to give it to him.

Kise had also snapped out of it when he heard the sound she made. He looked at her and realized how he actually licked her ear rather than biting it. He took the phone which she held up and went back to his seat.

Silence dawned between the two red tomatoes. Kise looked out the window to think of something else. Since all he could think about was the unbelievable spark when he licked her ear and the amazing "reaction" he had when he heard the sound she made. He ruffled his hair and hope she wouldn't notice. But since she was facing out the window as well, she wouldn't notice.

It was stupid cause he's done so much more than this, yet, just a slight skin contact with this enemy of his had him feeling sexually frustrated all of a sudden. When other girls wouldn't be able to do that even after one night of doing everything with him.

He then remembered about his phone. He checked it and stared at the pixilated frozen screen. "...This...is why you didn't want to show my phone?" He sighed.

Rika looked at the phone he was holding and nodded.

"Did you think I was going to kill you in my car if I found out? It's fine...it's not my work phone so it's fine." He felt her eyes on him.

She was actually looking at him weirdly after what he said, since it was exactly what she thought, she looked at him with a 'WTF face'.

But when he looked at her, they made eye contact. Both suddenly remembered about the ear licking scene. They looked away and Kise changed the topic "D-Did you get to text anyone at home?"

"No, it froze before I could call them. I don't know any of our chauffeur's number to have one of them to take me home."

"Oh...I was right earlier then..." he said to himself, referring to that time when he thought that if he abandoned her, he wouldn't be able to get home. He sighed and switched the parking gear to the reverse gear to get out of the parking.

"W-Where are you taking me?" She asked the question again.

He was going to repeat the same answer he said before, but with the ear licking experience, she might still think other wise.

"I'll drive you back home..." He said, just telling her the truth instead of freaking her out more.

"Oh...Okay then..." She said awkwardly.

He raised the volume up to fill the silence between them. It was weird cause they would always fight when they're around eachother, so having it suddenly quiet between then was weird.

Thanks to Kise's amazing driving skills, they reached her home early but at the wrong time. Once he got through the gates of her mansion territory, both of them thought 'SHIT'

Cause they saw Rika's parents and her twin brother, who just arrived at the same time before them. They had their cars driven off by their chauffeurs, and they were on their way to the entrance but stopped in their tracks when they saw the unfamiliar car. But Akashi raised an eyebrow, since he recognized the car. He was wondering why Kise was there.

The car stopped near the entrance but Rika couldn't step out of the car "Why did we arrive at the wrong time?" She panicked. "Don't get out of the car." She continued.

"What? But that'd be rude of me!"

"Noo~! But, my mom~! all of them- they would misunderstan-"

"No buts, I'm going out cause I don't want to seem rude. Get out of the car first." He said unlocking the doors.

Rika saw how the three outside were waiting. She even saw their employees were peeking outside the window, even the gate security earlier were watching them, cause they were wondering why Kise the model was the one to bring Rika back home.

"I will kill you next time I see you." Rika said and got out. Kise shook his head and got out as well.

Rika's parents and especially Akashi was shocked to see her getting out of the vehicle. While their parents were even more shocked to see the driver get out.

Kise bowed 90 degrees angle to them as a greeting and stood up straight again had a nervous smile. Rika bowed a little too to greet them. But when she walked around the car she looked at Kise, telepathically telling him to go before they interrogate him.

But it was too late, Rika's mother was extremely happy seeing him. "You're- You're...Rika where are you going, come here." He mother stopped her from going into the mansion. Rike bit her lips and looked at her happy mother. She hesitantly walked over to them.

While Kise didn't know what to do until Rika's father called him over. "Eh? ah...sure." He said closing the car door and heading to where they were. Where he saw Rika giving him a deadly look from behind them three. He awkwardly shook hands with Rika's father.

"Oh my~ You've grown up into such a good looking young man." Rika's mother said. Kise laughed and thanked her.

"I see where Rika got her beauty..." He said, and avoided eye contact with Rika after saying it. But he was then aware that he himself was suddenly not denying at the fact that his enemy was a beautiful woman.

"Oh you~ You flatter me~" Her mother laughed.

"Where were you two from?" Her father asked suspiciously at his daughter.

Kise saw how Rika backed away when he asked her something. Akashi even tensed up for some reasons, so he had an idea that Rika didn't have a good relationship with her father.

"I brought her out to jog with me..." Kise stated, even though they didn't jog together. But they both had jogging attires, so it seemed convincing.

"I don't mean to sound rude, but why are you including my daughter in your list of women to sleep with? I saw the news about you." Her father asked.

Even Kise was frozen in place at what he said. Rika gasped and was about to say something until her mother hit her husband's arm. "What are you talking about, stop assuming things honey."

Kise sighed and smiled "Sir, I don't see your daughter that way. She's not an easy girl to mess with." He said which earned a laugh from both Rika's mother and Akashi.

"I see. My apologies then. But what do you mean when you said you don't see my daughter like that? Like what?"

Kise looked at Rika where she just gave him a look saying 'I told you to go before they interrogate you~'

He sighed and looked at the older man "I don't see her as an easy girl who anyone including me can just sleep around with. If you're asking me if I'll be taking advantage of her in the future, I won't be. I've known her for a long time...So I know what she's worth."

Everyone fell silent at what he said. Rika's mother was delighted at his words. "Very well said, young man." the older man said. He checked his watch and saw how it was getting late. "It's getting late, We better go inside. Do you want to stay for dinner young man?"

Kise saw how Rika was making a big cross with her arms in the background.

Kise turned back to her father and shook his head "I actually have work to attend to in an hour. So I'll properly decline that offer."

Rika's mother laughed and said "Oh~ Sounding all dependable and all~ Such a busy man you are."

Kise just laughed and bowed to them before leaving.

After dinner, Rika went to her bed room and took a bath. She soaked herself inside the bubbly bath for a long time, thinking back of whatever happened that day. She then heard her mother's voice calling out to her from her room.

"I'm in the bathroom mother~!" She replied out.

"Is it safe to come in though?"

"I'm in a bubble bath~ So yeap~!" She replied and not long after that, her mother rolled on her wheelchair into the bathroom.

She closed the door behind her and rolled next to the bathtub. "I couldn't talk about it earlier with your father around. But I'll apologize in his behalf for interrogating Kise earlier."

"What? No no~ You don't have to apologize for that, I quite enjoyed watching him flustered to deal with the interrogation." Rika said with a smile as she brought her legs up to her chest.

Her mother laughed and said "So...Are you two together finally?"

Rika's eyes popped open "NO! Oh god noooo." Rika sighed.

"Well~ I was just asking~...But that thing he said about you, how he knew what you're worth and i'm sure he's basically saying you're not just any girl~ No?"

Rika pouted and said "W-Well...He only said that to get away from trouble."

"It still was neat~" the older woman said, teasing her own daughter.

"Motheeer~"

Her mother laughed and turned to head the door "Alright alright~ I'll leave you to finish bathing now~ Don't stay in for long or you'd be all wrinkly and all Rika."

Rika nodded and with that, the older woman left, not forgetting to close the door behind her.

After a few more scrubs, she got out.

She was just about to go to bed until she remembered about Kise's fans taking pictures or maybe videos of what happened earlier. She cursed and ran to her TV, tripping on the floor on the way.

She skimmed through the channels to the celeb gossip channel. And thankfully, the first thing she saw wasn't anything that had got to do with Kise. "Safe~" She said to herself.

But spoke too soon, when they changed the topic, the first thing the male host said was "Our well known celebrity Casanova~ Kise Ryouta, strikes again."

She gulped hoping he was found with someone else this time.

"Kise was spotted this afternoon with ANOTHER girl. Seems like this man just can't get away from women even after the media talking about his scandals."

Pictures were then shown on the TV of the scenes which took place. Unluckily for Rika, it was everything that had happened earlier.

"Now it shows here that Kise is actually protecting the girl from being seen by the media, that's nice of him." One of the girl hosts said.

"Yeah, Especially this picture, he covered her face with his body as he pulled her hood on."

"We didn't get to se the girl's face here, but those who saw her admitted that she's a beauty."

"Well~ We now know that Kise has high standards too."

Rika face palmed when they were saying stuff about her being a beauty and all.

"Some even say she could possibly be a new top model or something"

"Whoa~ That's amazing, Oh a tweet by Jhona Delune caught my eye earlier, saying 'The girls in the previous pictures were pretty hot, but the girl I saw earlier was jaw-dropping gorgeous red-head. I salute Kise now.' So now were starting to wonder who the girl is, like is she just one of 'those' girls or is she someone who Kise actually cares for? For example...Maybe his girlfriend?"

"OH~!" One of the female hosts clapped her hands as if she remembered something. She pointed to the TV. "Another example, you know theres a crazy rumor going around that Kise is secretly married and is using those girls as a cover up? Since he was trying to hide her and since she doesn't look like some ordinary woman, the rumor could be true? and she could possibly be the secret wife~"

The other celebrities on the set laughed and clapped, they were amazed by the theory since it was convincing enough after hearing about it.

Rika switched the TV off. Not wanting to hear any more. But it was over, the rumors were spreading at college that she was secretly married to Kise...And with this, it wouldn't be long before the media does it's spying and catch of the rumour and thank to that Jhona dude saying the girl in the photo was a red head, they would join the dots and the rumor would just grow bigger.

She grunted in frustration and just dragged her feet to bed.

Well~ She at least had the whole Sunday tomorrow to prepare for Monday.

Kise was in the middle of eating some food which was sent over by his manager earlier on after his modeling schedule. Until he was called and was told to switch on his TV.

He sighed and braced himself for it.

He watched everything silently, at least glad that they didn't catch Rika's face or her father might kill him.

But when they brought that topic about the stupid rumor about him being secretly married to her...He was bewildered. He was also pissed at that Jhona dude for mentioning about the red-head. He had heard about the rumor spreading around about him being secretly married to Rika. and those in college would come into conclusions that he was with Rika. Well he really was with her, but he hoped none of them would assume it was her...since she's not the only red head in the world.

After he was done eating, he washed his plates. He was about to leave the kitchen after switching the lights off, but had a random static shock when he held the sliding door handle.

It somehow made him remember about what happened in his car with Rika, he shook his head to forget about it.

But in the end, he had to take a long cold shower which was another stupid thing, cause it was all just because of the slight physical contact which shouldn't have happened in the first place.

The last thing he sarcastically thought before falling asleep was how fun the chaos will be in college on Monday.
