Disclaimer: I did not the Suite Life tv series. Duh.

The procession moved down the corridor. Their solid figures drifting in and out of the soft white light above them. The beacons of light revealed two smaller forms. One was kicking and struggling while the second was limp, his extremities lifeless. But the procession was not silent.

"Please let me go.."

"I don't want to die..."

The words mixed together but the procession ignored them as they doggedly moved down the hallway.

Why are you doing this to me? I did everything you wanted? The struggling one shouted to the last of the cavalcade.

...

She looked at her pet. The copy of this other human and motioned. All movement ceased except for the clone fighting and the failure crying.

Disgusting. her sight switched between these wastes of time. Especially since the decision to be "human" was accepted for this project.

Both were without dignity or cover. They did not deserve it nor was there an real need for it. Waste of resources and an added complication for what needed to be accomplished.

The bald failure's expression was pure terror. She knew that expression in her handiwork. The tears, the red face, the heavy breathing... At first it was curious, now its just another insignificant detail to add to a now tiresome report to be sent back to her superiors.

However the clone looked confused, so she decided to answer his question. For all the good it will do for him.

"We can not afford to leave any mistakes. Its how things are done"

His skin color faded and his fear started to match the original model. She watched as his chest rose and fell quickly.

Not as quickly as the original but still... something to remember.

"Why can't you use me for something?" The copy's eyes widened. "I mean us."

That's interesting. The thought percolated in her head as she stared as the other one regain control of himself.

"The truth is we have to start fresh so we don't have any contamination which could affect the experiment." A twitch touched her face but she continued. "And frankly, you are that. So you have..."

...

The barrier came down from above. Mere inches spared the boy's face. He continued to look at the solid reflective surface then turned around. Three dark forms stared back in the suddenly brighter hallway. They were featureless aside from their dark forms and four limbs. He was shorter than all three but their eyes remained hidden from his search. He suddenly looked at the other boy...Cody?

His body laid flat on the floor. A mirror image of Cody appeared under him. The boy looked at himself down to his feet and stared as he moved his hands. He looked at Cody. They were somethings that were the same. But there was no hair on Cody's head. He watched Cody try to move but only his head had turned. Their eyes met for a few seconds. Cody looked away after staring at him, his face a different color.

Movement caught his attention. One of the suited figures moved toward them. He felt a lot of different somethings inside him...No they are called "feelings". At least that's what that person I asked those questions said they were. But these feelings are different.

The boy ran toward the three suited figures and hit them. They fell backward, over Cody and behind him. He thought he heard a sound from Cody but he stared at the three fallen bodies. They were moving from the pile they were in.

Another one of these feelings was inside him. he felt this before after talking to that person before when the mistakes were mentioned. It was larger now. Heavier. His breathing was faster too. He looked at something sticking out of the wall. He'd seen something like it before. He touched it.

Another wall fell in front of them. Cody's head almost touched it.

That feeling was back. But its worse now. He looked to his left, past Cody. There was another hallway...

He ran down it. His feet pounding the floor...

...

"Wait! Help Me!"

The boy turned around toward Cody. The band around his head was broken and blood dripped down his face. The boy's muscles were twitching involuntarily. Bouncing and hitting the floor.

"Please! I can't stop it!" Cody watched as the other boy took one step backward then paused. His eyes moved toward the two walls as his hands opened and closed. He looked behind him toward the open corridor then back toward Cody. The boy raced toward Cody and touched him.

"The band's broken. It's supposed to control my arms and legs but I can't stop them. They're out of control." Cody watched as his left hand wacked the other boy.

"Hey!"

"It's not me. Trust me, if I could I would stop it." A pounding noise distracted them. They look at each other with desperation.

"Is there anyway for to stop it?" Cody hoped for a positive answer. He did not get it.

"How am I supposed to know! I never saw it before." Cody bit his lip as he tried to fight his own body. The pounding on the wall continued.

"What does it look like?" The boy looked over the busted band.

"Well its connected to something on your neck.."

"A neural controller" Cody corrected him as he leaned away from his clone's body as the boy leaned over Cody. He never stopped speaking

"Whatever...I have one too. I saw it earlier looking at myself in the walls...So what do you want me to do? Something skinny is connecting the two."

Cody gritted his teeth as his left arm was pinned to the floor by a knee. Until the pressure was lightened.

"Oh Sorry" It sounded almost absented minded. Cody shook his head and sighed.

"Its fine. Its better that way. Just don't crush it."

"I'll try...So what do you want to do? They are trying to get in here.

Cody shivered as he felt two hands on his back. Every muscle in his body tightened as he arrived to a decision.

"Pull it out Zack" An eternity passed before a dragged out response.

"Are you sure? Its in there. I mean..."

"Pull it out." Cody hid the tears running down his face. "Now...Just be care...Ahhhhhh!"

Cody screamed until he lost his voice and his head hit the floor. His clone held the busted band and cord in his hand as he waited it out, shaking. The noise increased from behind the sealed walls while Cody hyperventilated on the floor. Silent one syllable words escaping from his mouth as muscles twitched from shoulders to feet.

The boy knelt on the floor, his face at Cody's level. The technoscraps beside him, body fluid dirtying the reflective surface. Cody's breath fogged up the floor. A gentle hand placed itself on Cody's back.

"How do you feel?" Shock bored into the clone's eyes as Cody's turned his head to look at him. Smeared blood covering his forehead as he closed his eyes for a few seconds. Cody breathing was still heavy as his fingertips dug into his hands. Cody's eyes opened.

Like somebody pulled something..." Cody paused as he read the other's face with watery eyes. He took a deep breath. "Just be thankful I did not anything to eat or drink recently."

"Okay, but we have to go like now. Can you stand?" Cody detected the nervousness in his question, his eyes constantly looking behind him.

"I'm not sure but I'll try." Shakily, Cody pushed himself to his hands and knees and then leaned on the wall to pull himself up. He smiled at his companion. "See..." Cody toppled over as his legs gave out and he landed on his genetic shadow.

"Well, I guess I'm wrong." Cody admitted sheepishly as he started to push off his almost look like's stomach, his eyes diverted to the copy's face. He found two arms wrapping themselves around his middle as he tried to stand again.

"Why don't I help?" Cody nodded and decided to help as the seconds ticked by.

"Put my arm around your shoulder and let me lean on you. We are about the same height so it should not be a problem. It will slow us down but my legs feel sort of weird or rubbery." Both confusion and understanding stared back at him from a matching pair of blue-green eyes.

"Okay, we better get going." An arm around held Cody's stomach while his own supported himself between the wall and the shoulders of the other human. The pace was haphazard with both trying not to trip each other. They barely turned the corner into another hallway when they started to chat.

"You know this is not too bad. I mean you're that heavy, Cody"

"Good for both of us considering I have no idea where the heck we are." His crutch looked ahead of them before he answered.

"I know, this hallway looks like the last one. The whole thing looks like a weird mirror. I mean we look sort of..." Cody answered for him as he ran his hand along the wall's smooth surface.

"I think you mean fuzzy. I agree it's giving the creeps. I mean even its hard to see where the lights came from even at full power. Let alone when it was all dark earlier..." Cody shuddered at the memory. he felt the arm wrap around his neck grip him harder. He turned his head and relaxed at the sympathy he saw in his ally's face, who smiled back. he felt something inside him but ignored it. There was a time and place for it later...maybe.

"I'm lost too." He adjusted himself under Cody's weight. Cody winced as the arm slithered back around his neck. The younger (or was it older?) human calmed his companion.

It's not your fault. I guess you touched a sensitive spot. Forget about it. We've to keep moving. They probably trying to come after us." Cody did not even need to explain who "they" were. He saw it in his single audience's eyes.

"Okay. At least you better than you did before. You looked terrible with all the blood on your head. But it stopped now. You, em, look okay." Cody looked directly at him.

"Thanks" Sarcasm drowned his response. This is exactly how I wanted to spend my time ,wearing n..." Both boys jumped at a loud bang. Cody wobbly stayed up on his feet as they both looked at each other.

"Let's go." They raced as fast as their hobbled status allowed, quite aware of what could be behind them. Their eyes searched desperately for a hiding place. Footsteps hounded them. the mirrored hallways mocking them with their helplessness and exposure. Until..

"There!" Both almost fell at Cody's sighting. A break in the wall, barely five feet wide at best. A crack in the mirror wall. Cody grabbed the wall as both legged it out down to escape. Cody being almost dragged along.

Something like a hatch halted their flight as they grabbed the solid walls for support while their chests pounded and their minds scampered for ideas. They stared each other seeing the hope dying in each other's eyes.

"There has to be a way in." Cody moved back trying to force his enervated chopstick legs to support him while his accomplice moved ahead. His heart thunderous in his head while pain pounded his skull. Then suddenly the hatch front evaporated and a tunnel materialized. Cody stared at it until he was shoved into the opening, the back of his head hitting the hatch frame. He turned his head but he barreled down the tunnel when he saw blond hair in the entrance. he turned himself around as the tunnel widened, his legs slipping out from under him. Cody forced himself to see his clone coming toward him as a soft blue light surrounded them. But the hatch behind him was still open...

"Za..." The word died in Cody's mouth as the boy looked up and saw his eyes. In an instant, Cody watched as blond hair whirled around in one move and a left hand smashed a glowing panel in the tunnel. The light died as the pair looked out of their rabbit hole. Sweat fell down in rivers as they faced the greatest fears.

Cody dragged himself closer to the hatch. Both boys looked at each other, not bothering to hide anything. Their hearts stopped as some of these black suited forms appeared in their view and turned toward them. They hide their breath as one strolled toward the hatch and peered through. Only to walk away and back toward the main passageway.

Both boys looked at each other. Exhaustion and relief in equal amounts. Cody smiled.

"Saved thanks to a one way see through hatch. I never saw that coming." the bald one turned to his haired escapee, who only shrugged

"And don't ask me how I knew about that panel. I have no idea. "

"I am too tired to ask." The pair crawled down the tunnel to its expanded point where they both collapsed next to each other.

You know, there's one thing I cant help but notice?" Cody turned to look at his compatriot with questioning eye. He watched a smile form.

"We stink." Cody paused only to smell the air.

"Ew, we do." The laughter from his opposite only increased until Cody laughed himself. It soon died off but the echoes danced deeper down the tunnel. The silence made itself the third member as the two living experiments calmed down as reality (as it was or could be) set in. Cody turned his head to his collaborator.

"What do we now?" The question filled to the tunnel with its problems and mysteries.

"I dont know, Cody. I dont know. " The tunnel swallowed up the words with black hole efficiency, leaving two lifeforms alone with themselves. So many questions and no answers.

Okay, I'm back. Some ideas jump started this so I decided to go with them. I'm interested to hear what you think of this. What do you think is going on and what do you will happen along with the particular writing style with this chapter.

I also apologize for any errors I may have made in this.

So please review.
