As I promised I would update by the end of this weekend,here you are! I'm starting to get back into writing, to updates in one weekend! Also the concept of Titan hybrid will be explained here, and check out the new cover I made this morning :) enough blabbering to the story.
The lights flickered out in the room, and all the darkness Ascended and gathered in the middle of the war council meeting room. The shadows slowly flickered and spun into a Eire resemblance of a manticore, the form always flickered and what seemed like his mouth opened and growled.
Everyone froze for a second, then chaos broke out, the Aphrodite consular broke out into tears, the stolls quickly backed away. Clarisse, the stubborn daughter of ares she is grabbed maimer, her electric spear and ferociously lunged at him. The spear passed right threw him as if he was made of air.
He smiled a sinister smile that sent shivers up our spine. Chiron nocked and arrow and called" What are you here for?" His voice sounded tired and wary. The manticore gave another creepy grin "do not fret I am not here to fight I am here to explain." Conner and Travis moaned "So much explaining this day is so boring." The manticore gave them a glare that seemed to go straight into there soul, and I think they peed there pants. "The titans are rising as you may know." This caused many gasps and tears but some older campers nodded warily assuming Chiron told him. "That boy is correct,all the monsters have defected" He pointed angrily at me. "The monsters are the titans blade there weapons, but they betrayed us under that idiot perses, but the titans have created something even more powerful, a Titan hybrid. By infusing the power of there element and a monster they created this."
He waved his shadow tendrils for effect "An immortal being with power as strong as a minor god, I am here to present you an offer, join me and we shall crush the gods that ignore you, and use you as pawns, and we shall rule earth together."
Clarrise laughed"No idiot would join you." She raised her spear " Now die by my blade!" She hollered, but Chiron blocked her. She relctuntantly sat down, but not without growling and a long string of curses.
The hybrid raised his shadow eyebrow"Is that so?"
As if on que about 4-5 demigods rose out of there seats, among them Luke castellen, the son of Hermes I ran into, annabeth chase, and more. "Why?" Was alway could croak out, and Chiron had a somber look in his eyes, and there was a glimpse of a tear. These demigods were like sons, and daughters to him but they chose to backstab him.
"I always knew that you were a bloody thirsty traitor luke!" she cried menacing, there was also a lot of diffenerent responses. I was about to voice my own expression I heard a telepathic voice in my head.
"Whats taking you so long?"
Asked the familiar voice of perses.
"There's a Titan hybrid in the big house"
"What? Hold on I'm coming.
With that I lost my connection, but after a few seconds a flash of silver illuminated the room and perses appeared decked out in his full battle armour and holding a long spear that looked like it was mad of some sort of ivory and decorated with silver. He smiled wickedly,"Care for a duel, hybrid" he taunted as he hefted his spear and striked.
Sorry this is kind of a filler chapter, I plan on adding some fluff soon and a large scale, I might not be able to write on monday but be sure to get an update on Tuesday-wendsday :D
