Chapter Five: A New Titan is Born
It has been 3 months since the incident between Robin and Beast Boy and at first the tension in the Titan Tower was overwhelming but now as time has passed, and things have quieted down things are seemingly back to normal. Everyone in the Tower is working on their own pastime project: Cyborg tampering with the Titan Car, Robin was training, Starfire was brushing her hair, Beast Boy eating pizza and playing video games, and Raven was napping on the couch.
"OOOUUUCCCHHH!" Raven shrieked immediately being woken up from her nap from a sharp pain in her stomach.
"Are you okay!?" Beast Boy immediately was by her side with a look of concern and worry as he watched Raven's face wince from pain.
"Yeah I'm fine just another kick. This baby is a lot stronger than I thought he would be." Raven said smiling and placing a hand on her huge stomach.
"Well of course he's strong. He's got an awesome dad that is buff and muscular" Beast Boy replied striking muscle poses. Raven instantly started to laugh out loud uncontrollably. "What is so funny?" Beast Boy replied confused.
"Nothing just you're not the most muscular person. Yeah you can turn into different animals but you're human physique is quite slender." Raven said smiling.
"Heeyyy! I'm strong, but that doesn't matter. I know I'm buff. Do you need anything? Are you feeling okay?" Beast Boy wanted to quickly change the subject from his slender body.
"Yeah I think so and I just want to walk around. I've been sitting for too long and it's starting to make my back hurt." Raven replied standing up. When she finally was fully standing it was impossible to not notice her stomach. It was huge compared to her naturally small frame. Surprisingly there were no stretch marks despite the size.
"Okay we can go for a walk." Beast Boy said smiling and grabbing his pregnant girlfriends hand.
Beast Boy had taken Raven to the roof of the Titan Tower since it was close to her room and there was a lot of space to walk. Their walk was slow since Raven waddled instead of walked and didn't move very quickly. After about 10 minutes Raven stopped and looked down at her stomach.
"Are you okay? Why did you stop?" Beast Boy asked nervously.
"I'm scared." Raven said softly her voice resembling that of a scared child. The sound of her voice startled Beast Boy. He had never heard her speak that way including that he hardly ever hears her express how she is feeling.
"Why are you scared?" He asked hugging her knowing she may start crying.
"I'm scared about having a baby. He can literally be here any day now and it scares me. I don't know what to expect and what if he comes out like me and he's evil?" Raven softly said pressing her face into Beast Boys chest as she started to cry.
"Babe you're worrying too much. You're going to do a great job when he comes and he's going to be perfect. You're perfect so I know he'll be perfect." Beast Boy softly said holding her close and tightly.
Beep. Beep. Beep…..Beep. Beep. Beep…Beep. Beep. Beep.
Raven's and Beast Boy's Titan communicators were going off meaning that Robin was summoning them. Raven and Beast Boy walked as quickly as Raven could to the common room to see what Robin wanted. As soon as they entered the common room they were immediately met by Robin, Cyborg and Starfire.
"Everyone is here, good." Robin said as Raven and Beast Boy sat on the couch next to Starfire and Cyborg. Immediately a big screen came down from the ceiling revealing smoke coming from somewhere in the city. "Okay so it seems Terra is at it again but this time she is destroying the city. For some reason she seems to be a lot stronger than the last time we have faced her so I'm requiring that everyone but Raven go to handle her." Robin said sternly.
"But what if Raven goes into labor? I can't leave her side Robin, she may need me." Beast Boy said with his puppy dog eyes in hopes to convince Robin to allow him to stay with Raven.
"No can do Beast Boy. I need you on this mission and I think Raven will be fine. Plus you will have your communicator on you so if Raven does go into labor she can contact you." Robin said smiling.
"Uggghhh okay fine I'll go." Beast said dramatically.
"Don't worry Beast Boy. I'll be okay. I kinda want to take a nap anyway. Go kick Terra's ass." Raven said cheerfully.
"Okay team. Quickly go to your rooms and gathering anything you need, then be at the Titan car in 5 minutes. TITAN'S GO!" Robin said happily.
Beast boy planted a soft kiss on Raven's lips and kissed her belly before quickly running into his room and then quickly jumping into the elevator. Now that everyone was gone Raven laid down on the couch, took a deep relaxing breathe and drifted off to sleep.
Within 45 minutes Raven was awoken out of her sleep with an immense amount of pressure in her lower abdomen. Thinking she had to use the bathroom she proceeded to waddle to the bathroom. She was within 2 feet of the bathroom when her water broke.
"Uh oh. Okay no need to panic all I need to do is call Beast Boy and he'll be on his way. Maybe I should change pants first." Raven said trying to remain calm. After going to her room and changing pants, she waddled back in to the common room and sat on the couch with her communicator trying to call Beast Boy.
"Hummm it's ringing but he's not answering. That's not like him. Wait what is the noise?" Raven stood up from the couch because she heard a beeping coming from down the hall. She followed the noise until she was standing in front of Beast Boy's door. "His communicator better not be in his room." Raven muttered starting to get irritated. "Ouch!" Just before she could open the door she was hit with a contraction. After it subsided she walked into Beast Boy's room and on his bed was his communicator.
"BEAST BOY!" Raven shouted angrily. "I could strang- OUCH!"" Before she could finish her sentence she got another contraction. This one stronger than the previous. "They're getting stronger. That's not good this baby could be here soon. Beast Boy where are you?" She thought to herself as she sat on the floor holding her stomach and breathing through the pain.
Beast Boy, Cyborg, Robin, and Starfire were successfully fighting Terra and were winning against her.
"How did she get so strong?" Robin asked aloud while dodging earthly projectiles. Beast Boy paused for a moment and looked in the direction of the Titan Tower. Something in his heart was telling him something was wrong.
"Robin I have to get back. I think Raven may be in pain." Beast Boy said with a hint of worry in his voice.
"No Beast Boy. I'm sure Raven is fine and we need you. We're almost done fighting Terra. Just hold out for a while and let us finish this." Robin said reassuringly.
It took another 1 hour for the 4 Titan's to finally take down Terra and place her in prison. Before Terra's cell door had fully closed Beast Boy quickly turned into a falcon and flew as fast as he could to the Titan Tower. He knew everything wasn't okay and he hoped he was wrong.
AAAAAGGGHHHHH!
Beast Boy heard screaming coming from his room and immediately ran there. In his room he saw Raven sitting on the floor, holding her stomach, crying out in pain. Her face and hair surrounding her face was wet from sweat and her cheeks had a hint of red to them.
"Oh my goodness! Raven!" Beast Boy said rushing over to Raven. Before he could comfort her Raven's hand lifted in his direction and he was instantly thrown into a wall.
"NOW YOU COME! I'M IN LABOR AND NOW YOU WANT TO COME AND HELP! WHERE WERE YOU!?" Raven eyes here red from anger.
"I'm sorry babe…..it took us a little longer to fight Terra…why didn't you call me?" Beast Boy said trying to catch his breathe.
"YOU LEFT YOUR COMMUNICATOR HERE!" Raven screamed, partly from anger but also partly from pain.
"I'm here now and that's all that matters." Beast Boy said now next to Raven and holding her close. Raven was in too much pain to scream at Beast Boy anymore.
Raven was hit with another contraction and she instantly grabbing Beast Boys hand and squeezed making his face wince from the pain. Cyborg entered to room upon hearing the commotion and immediately walked back out to go fetch some things needed for the birth. Robin and Starfire felt it was best to stay in the common room and wait for the baby to be born before walking into the room. Cyborg returned with some necessary equipment and began to scan Raven to check her status.
"Okay Raven seems we got back just in time. The baby is healthy, you're healthy and it seems you are fully dilated. I guess demons have faster deliveries as well. Whenever you're ready you can push. Raven leaned against Beast Boy and grabbed both of his hands as he sat behind her trying to make her comfortable. As soon as she got another contraction she started pushing. After 3 pushes and a lot of screaming all was silent except for the loud cry of a new born baby. Cyborg cut the umbilical cord, suctioned fluid, and cleaned the baby off before wrapping him in a blanket and handing him to Raven.
"He's so beautiful." Raven said looking over at his features. He had Raven's pale skin and Beast Boy's canine teeth. Raven thought it was odd that he was born with canine teeth but they were cute little teeth that made him perfect. "What should we name him?" She asked looking at Beast Boy whose eyes were watering.
"Titan. His name will be Titan." Beast Boy said smiling and kissing his son on the forward and Raven on the lips after.

Sorry this chapter isn't as good as the others. I've been swamped with school work as I approach graduation but this story has been in the back of my mind every day and I wanted to finish. I hope you guys enjoy! Thanks for reading!
