Chapter 13

Lucy looked up as the door to the room she was in crashed open. She reached for her keys, glad that she had just finished dressing, when she saw Gajeel fall through with Levy falling on top of him. She relaxed and sat down on the bed.

"Lucy!" Levy cried. She smiled a bright smile. "We finally found you!"

Lucy beamed at her best friend. "Yeah you guys did."

"Uhm… squirt…"

Levy looked down below her seeing Gejeel lying face first on the floor. Her eyes widened. "I'm sorry!" She stood up quickly, wiping off her orange dress. "Did I hurt you?"

"No need to worry. I'm fine." Gajeel stood up, slowly stretching.

"Are you alright Lucy?" Lily hopped onto the bed next to her, completely ignoring the scene unfolding in front of the two.

Lucy nodded. "We just need to find Natsu."

Levy turned towards Lucy. "How did you and Natsu becoming separated?"

Loke appeared. "I can explain that."

"Would you quit appearing when I haven't called you? It's not helpful all the time you know." Lucy glared at him.

Loke scratched the back of his head. "Well, I'll at least go ahead and explain."

With a snap of his fingers, bright lights filled the room. Aloin stood, donned in armor.

Gray glared, recognizing the similarities to Erza's Black Wing Armor. "What have you done with Erza?"

Aloin didn't answer. He quickly sprinted towards the group, holding a giant flaming sword. He slashed the group in half, knocking Gray and Wendy back towards the wall. Juvia immediately turned to her aqueous form, letting the flames fizzle out as the sword slashed right through her.

Aloin grunted in agitation at this. He turned towards Juvia, creating an object around Juvia. "How about the fish returns to the bowl?" Juvia quickly melted to the ground, sloshing away from the created watertight container.

"How many different types of magic can he use?" Gray muttered as he stood up with Happy next to him.

"Oh I can use more than a hundred." He pulled out a chain glowing orange from beneath his now black tshirt. "Only, you won't get to see them all." Aloin disappeared, then reappeared behind Wendy, catching her by surprise. He whispered something into her ear before she fainted.

"What did you say to her?" Carla asked, hovering next to Wendy's slumped body.

He mouthed something to Carla, who in turn passed out. He looked up as Carla fell onto Wendy with Happy shouting "Carla-lu!" flying towards her. He smiled at Gray and Juvia who in turned looked at each other and nodded.

"Water Nebula!"

"Ice-make Lance!"

"Fire Dragon's Roar!"

As mist filled the whole room, Gray shouted, "You thief! How dare you use other's magic! Use your own magic against us!"

"You see, but I have." The voice came from no more than 2 feet in front of Gray. "My magic causes my opponents to do what I say. It is very hard to get a woman though. Vesper gets all of them, but at least he can... sweet talk them."

As the mist cleared, Gray say Juvia standing frozen in front of him. Her eyes were wide with fear as she stared behind him. Gray attempted to get her to tell him what was wrong but she couldn't respond.

"It's alright." A voice appeared from right behind him. "I told her to stay still so she could watch as I finish her beloved in front of her."

"No!" Happy flew towards the group. He was able to throw Aloin off enough for Gray to make a geyser.

Aloin flew into the air, grabbing Happy by the tail on the way and threw him into the wall, KO-ing the poor exceed. Aloin then quickly changed his direction and fell towards Juvia. He crashed into the ground, barely missing her.

"Let her go."

"Ughn…" Aloin stood up. He cracked his neck as he stood up. "How about I just make her do my very bidding? She can't refuse right, darling?" He ran his hand up Juvia's arm.

Gray shuddered.

"I wonder if Vesper fancies blunettes."

Gray charged towards Aloin with his Ice-Make sword.

Aloin moved behind Juvia, causing Gray to stop with the sword only inches from Juvia's face. "She can't changed to water without me freeing her from my magic."

Gray scowled as he pulled, letting the sword drop to the ground and shatter to pieces.

"Checkmate."
