Author's Note: So I've had the last chapter written forever. But I've been struggling with getting there, so I finally decided to sit down and write this. I apologize for this being so short. I hit writer's block a couple of weeks ago. It's been a struggle. My classes are killing me and finals are fast approaching. This also feels a bit rushed, so I apologize for that in advance as well. Chapter 14
"Gajeel! Slow down!"
"Hurry up squirt! They need our help!"
Lily flew after the duo. "They all need our help!"
The trio had separated from Lucy once Gajeel had caught the scent of Lot and Aloin coming from the path Gray's group had walked down.
They stormed into the giant chamber, recognizing their comrades held along the wall. They stood in disbelief that their comrades were captured, Natsu most of all.
After attempting to pull Juvia and Erza down, they had moved on to figuring out where the controls for the chains were situated. Levy stopped in front of Natsu, when she looked up at him. Gajeel put a hand on her shoulder.
"I could swear he's mumbling for Lucy…" Levy spoke softly.
"He is…" Gajeel turned away towards the hidden windowed wall. "Lucy?" He turned away from Levy.
Lucy stood on the other side of the wall staring at her friends in horror. Loki stood beside her.
"We should find out which of these controls frees them."
Lucy nodded slowly. She watched in horror as three figures approached the trio of friends from the shadows.
"Levy! Gajeel! Lily!" she screamed. "Watch out!"
Gajeel turned towards Lucy. She saw him mouth something before Levy was captured by Lot. Lily transformed quickly to attack Lot, when Aloin appeared between them. Vesper appeared behind Gajeel, catching him off guard, and sent him flying into the wall. Levy looked around the room, towards where Lucy stood. Her eyes looking frantic as she struggled against Lot. Gajeel stood up, but all too quickly he was knocked into the ground. Aloin slashed Lily, pushing him back.
When Vesper turned to look at Lucy while he waited for Gajeel to get up, his eyes looked as if they said "You're next." A shiver ran down her spine causing her to turn away and run back into the power chamber.
"Loki…" She said quietly.
He appeared next to her in an instant.
"Is there any way we can possibly destroy this magma core?"
Loki nodded. "I know just the thing."
