Chapter 6: Whispers in the dark
Back at Plantea the Specialists and the girls had left the ship and were now investigating the forests around them.
„How long do you think we have to search?" Stella asked looking around for something familiar.
„ Not this long I think." Bloom said pointing at a burned tree.
„This is the place we fought with these bugs." Flora said looking around sadly because of all the burned nature.
„Yes, so lets start searching. There has to be a hint anywhere." Sky said while walking up to the center of were the fire had been.
The girls and the boys searched for about an hour when Tecna suddenly send for them.
„Guys, I've found something!"
All of the others came running towards her wondering what she had found.
"It is a note. It looks like someone left it for us. It is personally addressed to us." she said looking at the note she found at a tree.
"What? What does it say?" Musa asked trying to have a look at the paper.
" Ok , I will read it out loud:
Dear Winx Club Girls,
when you're reading this I know that my plan succeeded.
Do you like what I gave you? The power and the knowledge of being invincible?
I hope you had the chance to taste this power, its a pleasant one I think.
I am sure we will met up soon. I am really excited to see what you are able to do now.
You will search me, I know, so I will give you a hint were to find me.
I am living in a huge house and my property is mine alone. I am protected by the elements.
And now please enjoy your search and your powers.

"He is kidding right?! That's not his severity, is it?" Layla asked raising an eyebrow.
"No, I don't think he is, Layla. He means business. Or maybe 'She'. At least we don't know who had left this note." Bloom said ,frowning.
Bloom closed her eyes.
What shall we do? We don't even know if the person is male or female.
You know I am never far!
I will be the one that's gonna find you,and I will be the one that's gonna guide you!
Bloom startled.
"Who said that?"
"Who said what? Bloom is everything alright?" Stella asked confused because no one had said anything.
"I have heard something, someone said something to me...It sounded weird." Bloom looked around, searching for someone being the source of the voice.
"Bloom, no one said anything. Everyone was silent. Did someone hear something?" Flora asked, but everyone answered with a shake of the head.
"Hmm, ok, maybe I was just imagined it." Bloom said shaking her head in disbelieve.
The girls and the boys moved on, now searching for the one who wrote the note.
"What did it say? He/She is living in a huge house...and he/she is protected by the elements?" Layla asked wondering where to search first.
"Yes it did. Flora do you know something about Plantea. I mean...It is a lot like Linphea."
"No sorry, I don't know anything important. But if Plantea has got the same structure like Linphea, it may be easy to find the "house" but it also could be nearly impossible."
Flora said thinking of Linpheas appearance.
"What do you mean?" Tecna asked.
"Well, at Linphea it is really hard to find a place where all four elements are ,at least, represented, because of all the individual plants. The places are most of time where you don't expect them to be. Under water or below ground level. Sometimes they are hidden in secret parts of the forests."
"Oh, crap!" Stella said angrily stamping her foot.
"Tecna, can't you try to find possible places for the hideout using your computer?" Bloom asked hopefully.
"Yes maybe. If I can combine heat signatures, air photos and ultrasound images it may be possible to isolate some possible hide out." Tecna said.
"I can help you. My sonar waves may help you with the ultrasound images." Musa walked up to her.
"Yes and I will make the air photos." Timmy said turning away and walking up to the ship.
"Ok guys, the rest of us starts getting embattled. We don't know what will happen, but we now it won't be easy." Sky said looking at the rest of the Specialist. The boys nodded.
"Girls, I think we should do the same." Layla said and the girls nodded too.
After an hour all of them were ready. The specialists were almost armed to the teeth, the girls had transformed into their Enchantix.
"Tecna, have you got it?" Bloom asked the magenta haired fairy.
"Yes, we found three places pitting into the parameters. Two of them aren't far from here. The one towards southwest, the other towards northwest about two miles from here. The third one is about six miles from here towards northeast." Tecna answered looking at her computer.
"Ok then lets go. We will start with the one in the southwest." Bloom said and turned around starting to walk towards their first destination.
They hadn't covered much distance when they had to stop. Right in front of them was a waterfall.
" Oh, I think we've got a problem." Layla said looking down the waterfall.
"Why? We are able to fly, we don't have any problems." Stella commented starting to flap with her wings.
"Uhmm Stella, we are able to fly, but I think that the boys aren't." Bloom said pointing towards the specialist.
"Oh, right, I forgot. So what shall we do? Carrie them? Impossible." Stella said frowning.
"Oh hey girls, that's no problem look what we have got from professor Saladin." Timmy said getting something from his backpack.
After Timmy got the thing out of his backpack he showed them what he was holding in his hand.
"Some Toys? Seriously? " Stella asked looking at Timmy like he has gotten insane.
" That aren't toys. These levabikes were shrunken by an spell from Saladin. " Timmy said throwing the shrunken bikes up in the air.
" Be careful. Step back!"
The bikes increased in their size and a moment later six levabikes stood in front of the six specialists.
"Wow, that's cool." Bloom said.
"Yeah it is," Sky smiled at her.
" So, then lets go. Our time is limited." Riven said being edged.
The girls nodded and flew off, the boys followed.
And then it happens. Suddenly the sky turned dark and the girls and the boys were hit by an lightning.
All of them crashed and landed in the little lake were the waterfall emptied into.
The lightning strike didn't seemed to be this bad because a few seconds later the specialists appeared at the surface of the water.
The Winx girls followed, appearing one by one.
"Hey girls, are you ok?" Helia asked looking around trying to make out if someone was missing.
"Hey were are Flora and Bloom?"
"They have disappeared. I can't see them." Stella was looking around hectically.
Under water:
I need to manage to get up. I need air. Uuugh, whats that?
I ain't ready to die!
Hey what's going on? Who said that? Am I dreaming? I have to get up!
There..the surface... just a little bit more, but my arms get weak...Damn!

Hey! What is that? My arms are getting stronger. The surface there it is. Air!
Flora suddenly appeared at the surface of the water. Gasping for air.
"Flora,...Flora, are you ok?" Helia swam towards his girlfriend which was about to pass out.
Bloom had appeared at the surface a minuted ago. Sky had saved her because her foot had been stuck between two rocks.
"Let's bring them ashore. We all need to rest and Bloom and Flora need some medication." Sky and Helia were carrying their girlfriends followed by the others. Everyone was soaking wet and feeling cold.
Right before everyone was falling asleep at the huge fire the boys had made Flora woke up from her unconsciousness.
" I feel it deep within, it is just beneath my skin. The monster. It is uncontrollable." she said looking at Bloom who was the first on noticing her being awake.
Bloom nodded.
" I know. I felt it to. I heard it. But we will stop it! I'll promise." she whispered.
And with that they fall asleep too.
