Chapter 8: Winx?
Hey guys, so this is the next chapter and I hope you like it.
Last time I told you to ask me if you want to know something. Someone asked me "What the hell is possessing them?" Well I think I can describe it a bit. If you have read all chapters you may have noticed that all of the girls have some kind of seals on their backs. These seals are ,of course, sealing something. It is something like a monster, or rather their spirits, comparable to a werwolf, just more bloodthirsty.
Maybe it's a help for you. If it was just a rhetorical question, my bad. :D
Now enjoy the chapter. And don't forget: Review!
The girls were standing in front of the door not moving an inch while the big fist of stone came rushing down onto to them, ready to crush their bones.
Suddenly the air around the girls began to vibrate and some black stuff started to surround them. These black clouds around them started to change. They formed around the girls and started to consolidate. With the smoke around them, each girl now had claws sharp like razor blades just like the first time they changed. Also their eyes were now turning in a light orange. But this time these weren't the only changes. The smoke formed something like a slightly see-through cloak around them. With the cloak their arms were much longer and their shoulders were much broader, also their chests, arms and legs. They also had horns on top of their heads now, just like devils. Through the cloak you could still see the original shapes of the girls.
A moment later the stone fist crashed into the ground.
The specialist screamed, believing that the girls were being hit. Sky also screamed although his own girlfriend was still sitting next to him. She was also covered in the cloak.
A diabolic laughter ran through the castle while the stone fist raised from the ground.
The laughter became silent and the boys stopped screaming when they saw...nothing.
There was nothing under the stone fist.
No girls, no bodies.
The boys looked around but they didn't saw them.
Suddenly a grin appeared at Blooms face. An evil one and she raised from the ground. Sky starred at her, eyes wide open, when she all of a sudden walked up to the next wall. She prostrated a bit and then disappeared with a bound.
Sky almost thought she was gone but then he heard a silent laughter above him. He looked up to the ceiling and caught his breath.
All of the girls were standing at the ceiling, upside down.
A growl ran through the castle and the stone fist crashed into the ceiling. The girls dodged it, sneering.
All of them were now back on the ground, and in the same moment they touched it they started running towards the door.
Stella and Layla split up from the others and ran towards the location the stone arm arose from the castle. They raised their arms and in one attack they smashed the stone to pieces with the claws of their cloaks.
The other girls reached the door and did the same. The door was opened in about a second.
Once the door was open all of the girls hurried into the castle and disappeared in the pitch black of the unlit castle.
The specialists were shocked. After a few seconds they took a break and followed the girls.
"Girls? Where are you? Hello?" Brandon shouted not getting an answer.
"Timmy, you've got anything to light this room?" Sky asked not even knowing if he was speaking into the right direction.
"Maybe, wait," a voice behind him answered and after a silent click a small ball of light appeared above them.
"Great, now we can see something." Helia said, looking around.
"But the girls are gone."
"Then we have to search. Timmy how long did this light last?" Brandon asked turning towards Timmy.
"It will last as long as we need it. As far as I know." Timmy said adjusting his glasses.
"Alright then let's go."
The Specialists nodded and started to walk up the huge hall way.
After about ten minutes they came to an intersection. Five other ways branched off from were they stood.
"Oh great! We found the beginning of this labyrinth." Riven said irritated, arms crossed.
"So what shall we do? Splitting up isn't an option." Helia asked turning to Sky.
"No it isn't. Timmy, are there any possibility's to investigate these ways without searching each of them individually? Maybe by supersonics or something?"
"Yes that is possible, but I can only tell you if it is a blind end or not." Timmy said looking at his computer, typing rapidly.
"That may be enough. Do it!" Sky said and Timmy nodded. He was already on it.
"Got it. Way one, four and five from left two right are dead ends. Way two and three aren't." Timmy said pointing at the five hallways in front of them.
"Alright, let's get rolling! I am starting to get bored." Riven said walking up to the second hall way.
"Riven, wait. Guys do you noticed that?" Nabu said pointing at the third hall way.
"What's the matter? There's nothing!" Riven said annoyed.
"I don't see anything either." Sky said screwing up his eyes, trying to spot something.
"Me too." Timmy said. The others nodded.
"Don't you see it? There is a scratch in that wall of the hallway. It is glowing." Nabu pointed once more to were he saw the scratch but the others shake their heads.
"Nabu we don't see anything." Sky said and walked up to the hallway Nabu was pointing at to take a closer look.
"Nope, nothing." he said.
"Maybe it is magical. So that's why only Nabu can see it." Timmy said looking at Nabu.
"Maybe..., I will take this way. I think the glowing thing is from the girls. Or at least from what is possessing them." Nabu said and walked up to the third hallway.
Sky nodded and with a move of his hand he told the others to follow.
All of them nodded and followed him and Nabu thru the hall way.
It was leading into a huge room. In the center of this room was something that looks like a throne, but no one was sitting on it.
The only ones in the room where the girls and three monstrous bugs. The bugs from the mission back at Plantea.
The girls and the bugs were opposing each other but weren't fighting. They were just facing the others.
The guys stopped in their movements, observing this awkward situation.
"What are they doing? Why aren't they fighting?" Brandon whispered, his eyes were still resting at the girls.
"I don't know. Let's stay back and just watch, maybe something happens" Sky whispered back not taking his eyes off of Bloom and the girls.
Suddenly a bunch of bats appeared from nowhere. They were flying around the throne when they started to conflate into a person.
The guys were holding their breaths when the girls and the bugs simultaneously turned around to face the person which was now sitting at the throne.
" Master!" the girls hissed, their voices weren't sounding like theirs.
The monsters possessing them were the ones talking.
"My girls. Good to see you. I've been excited to meet you." The person said raising from his thrown.
"I see...you brought your friends." The man said, a smirk flashed over his face.
He reached out his hand into the direction were the specialist were hiding.
They guys froze.
"Shit!" Riven hissed.
"Come on boys. You are invited to the party." The man said and with a move of his hand the specialist flew through the air and landed in front of the throne.
"Nice to meet you."
