Author's note: Just a very short one shot, with a hint of what Terry has in store for Morelli. Dedicated to Margaret. Hope this is what you had in mind!
Terry POV
Terry Gilman is many things.
I am sexy. I am my Daddy's Princess. I am spoilt. I am an animal in bed. And I am admittedly a slut.
Of all the things I am, I am not one thing.
I am nobody's plaything.
I will not stand for being mistreated, especially not by the guy who I'm playing slut for. Yes, Joseph Anthony Morelli. He thought that he could get away with his little stunt? Think again.
Not only must I come and go whenever he feels the need to get something on the side, but he also expects me to be okay with this situation we got going at the moment. Sure, I was fine with it to begin with…I never liked Stephanie Plum and when opportunity to hurt and get a piece of a Morelli came, hells yeah, you know I jumped on it, pun intended. See, Stephanie was a common girl from the Burg with no real connections, and in my opinion, no real value. She was too nice to people, with the exception of Joe, and she never stepped on anyone to get places. I never understood how she thought she was going to make it. Regardless of what I thought of her, it was obvious that many people, some of the hottest in school included, felt the same.
And so the saga began. Stephanie eventually grew to have everything that I wanted; she was beautiful, and funny, and she had somehow managed to capture the hearts of guys all over. She had the heart of the one man I had always wanted but never had.
Carl Constanza.
Carl and Joe were friends in school, and I had even tried dating Joe to make Carl jealous enough to ask me out, but nothing ever worked. In a matter of a few meetings, Stephanie had Carl under her spell, and the worst part is, I couldn't blame her, because she never even really tried. They never got together, instead staying friends, but I don't think, to this day, that Carl was over her. As I forced myself to settle with Morelli, who really wasn't settling at all, I saw all the signs; even then, Joe was falling for Stephanie Plum too.
And so here I am, years down the line, getting back at Stephanie for something she probably never even knew she did. There were times I felt bad about it, but who could afford to feel bad when you were in a family like mine?
Regardless of how this all started, I knew I had to end it. Not because it was hurting Plum, although that was slightly part of it, but because Joe had done the one thing I couldn't overlook.
When he asked me to go on holiday with him, I figured that this was my chance to convince him to choose me over Plum. (Hey, he was no Carl, but at least this way, someone would choose me over her) We had not so much as left the airport before we were ambushed by a group of thugs who claimed to be the ones to exact revenge on him. I had to endure things on that trip…sure, some of them were fun, but that was beside the point. He was supposed to have protected me, and yet all he could do was swear and keep asking whether this had something to do with his Cupcake. I mean, Jesus, you brought me to Cuba, Joe! I'm the one being attacked by gang-bangers, and your mind is still only on her!
But I digress.
Aside from neglecting to protect me, he also never let me rest and heal after we escaped. He kept screaming how we needed to get back to Trenton, back to Stephanie. It was all about her! Yes, perhaps I had developed a bit of a complex, but could you blame me?
And that brings us full circle. I was through with Morelli; obviously, Ms Plum had already tamed the Italian Stallion, and let's face it; a horse with no buck isn't worth the ride.
"Daddy?" I simpered.
"Yes, Baby Girl?" the voice that people considered so ominous called back to me.
"Daddy," I made my voice tearful, "I need your help. Someone hurt me…"
"WHO?" The outraged roar resounded in the house, echoing threateningly.
Lip trembling with the acting expertise of a lifetime, I turned my (fake) teary eyes to my enraged father.
You are going down, Joseph Morelli.
Terry Gilman, is nobody's plaything.
A/N: Hope y'all enjoyed…review and please read and review chapter 14 of Te Amo, Babe…updated yesterday and slowly reaching depression at the lack of reviews I'm receiving! :(
So, who's going to get to Joe first; The Gilman Familia, or the Rangeman Familia?
