Walking out of the bathroom, after finally bandaging the girls arm, he noticed an envelope on the floor just beside his bed. He picked it up and saw his name written on it. He sat down on the bed. He looked back at the girl before finally opening the letter. The letter that was written 100 years ago.

Chapter 7

Dear Zoro,

By the time that you have read this letter, your mother and I are no longer alive. But that also means you have woken up. That alone is enough for us to rest in peace. We want you to know that your mother and I were very happy that we had you as our son. You were our happiness and strength. We thought nothing could ever go wrong in our life again. However, things did not go as well as we thought. You see, when you were just a baby, on the day of your christening, an evil fairy put a curse on you. That you will die when you get injured by a sword. Fortunately, a good fairy named Nico Robin twisted that curse and instead you will fall into a deep sleep for 100 years and maybe more. As long as you stay away from swords, you would be fine. But at the age of 8, you saw that sword fight and you had so wanted to try it. Your mother was against it that she made all swords to be hidden away and all sword activity to be banned. As for me, I forced you into hand combat. Although I couldn't see the excitement and interest in your eyes towards it as much as the time you wanted to try sword fighting. I couldn't do anything. Your mother and I love you too much. We didn't want to lose you. When we heard the news that you collapsed by the beach, we were devastated. We tried so hard to prevent it from happening yet it still did. Nico Robin suggested that so you won't be lonely when you wake up, the castle workers vowed to stay by you. Unfortunately, your mother and I, stayed behind to protect you. We are sorry for keeping this from you and for not being there when you wake up. We really are very sorry.

Now, I need you to read very carefully.

I heard everything from Mihawk a few weeks after the incident. That you aim to be the best swordsman in the world. At first, I didn't believe him as there were no swords for you to use. But the soldiers who found you on the beach confessed that there were 3 swords beside you. Despite the fact that we banned the use of swords, you found a way to get your hands on them. A high quality swords at that (Seriously? Where the hell did you found them?). After finding out, I didn't know whether I should laugh or be angry at you. Anyways, you determination proves to me how serious you are towards this goal. In order to keep you safe, we prevented you from your happiness and passion towards sword fighting and forced you to do things secretly behind us. The thought alone makes me very guilty. Therefore, your mother and I are supporting you at your dream. This letter is evidence that we approve and that you can finally do things without any restrictions. We want you to be happy Zoro. Don't lose sight of your dream. As your father, I am telling you to treasure the people you love very well. I just wish that I could have done the same and prevented the curse from ever happening to you. I love you son. Your mother and I love you very much. Don't you ever forget that.

Much love,

Your Father

P.S. Look under your bed.

Prince Zoro didn't move from his position for hours. He was still processing the information he had just read. He doesn't want to believe it and that it was just a prank but the more thought he put on it, the more it made sense. The window, Doctor Chopper, the quietness of the castle. And this woman. There was no way she could have entered my room so easily, much less sleep in the same bed as me. There are guards everywhere; surely she would have been caught. Unless, it really was true. That what my father wrote in this letter really happened. But that also meant that...

His hand clenched into a fist. His jaw tightened. His thoughts of his parents roamed around his mind. He closed his eyes to prevent his tears from running down.

"ugh..." The bed moved, disrupting his thoughts yet glad for the distraction. He just can't accept everything the letter says. Not yet anyway.

He looked over the girl who's face has gone red as her hair. She was sweating and her breathing was ragged. She was also squirming. "erm..urgh.."

"Oi.. what's wrong?" He asked, voice cracking. He coughed. He took the cloth off her head and felt her forehead. It was still hot.

The woman's eyes slowly opened and searched for the man with the green hair. She found him looking over at her. "Oi, what's wrong?" She heard him say, noticing that his voice was slightly cracked. He reached for the cloth on her head and his hand rested on her forehead.

"Anoo.." she whispered, hoping to get his attention. It did. "heavy.." she squirmed.

Prince Zoro frowned. Heavy?

"its..heavy.." She squirmed again.

What's heavy? And why does she keep squirming?

Oh gosh! What is wrong with this man?! Get the blankets off OF ME! It's so HOT in here! Her inner conscious yelled. She focused her concentration on getting at least one of her hand out of the bed. Argh! So weak!

What is she doing now? He questioned. The woman stopped squirming but had a frown on her face, her eyes in concentration and determination.

Yes! Yes yes! Her inner conscious celebrated when her hand finally managed to escape the stuffy oven. Her hand clutched on one of the blanket and with all her might, she threw it towards the man.

She was gasping for breath. The action used up her energy. But it was worth it.

Zoro was figuring out what she was trying to say when a blanket hit him on his face. "UGH. What the hell woman!"

She glared at him. "It's heavy!" She said once more with force, throwing another blanket at him. This time he caught it. He looked at the blanket in his hand and towards the red-faced woman.

"AH! The blanket! You want me to get it off of you?" He asked the woman as if talking to a little child.

The woman rolled her eyes. Finally! The idiot gets it! Not having any energy to ague, she nodded.

The woman heaved a big sigh. "Help me sit up." She said with ease after having some circulation returning to her body. The man obediently obliged.

"Wow, you're wet." He commented. The woman snapped her head to the man, eyes bulging out.

"WHAT?!"

Prince Zoro looked at the woman's horrid expression. In realisation to what he just said, his expression mirrored the woman.

"Ah..noo.. ermm..I didn't..uhmm.." His face blushed violently. "I MEANT YOUR CLOTHES!" He placed his hand over his mouth. This is so embarrassing! They both thought.

He shifted his eyes to the corner of the room and avoided her gaze. This can't be happening! Twice she's embarrassed me! Twice!

The awkward silence was interrupted when the woman asked, "Do you have any spare clothes?"

"Why?" He still avoided her gaze.

"Oh for goodness sake! Enough with that expression. It was a misunderstanding! And I need spare clothes because the one I'm wearing now are drenched with sweat."

"Just wait till it dries off, woman!"

"Eww no. It feels disgusting and sticky!" she whined. "At least give me a change of shirt.."

Zoro sighed. "Fine..hold on." He went over his closet and rummaged for clothes that no longer fitted him for the girl to wear. He found a white T-shirt that he used to wear until his muscles started getting bigger and made it too tight for him.

"Here. It might be a bit too big for you."

"Thanks." She mumbled. She grabbed the hem of her vest and was beginning to pull it up when she saw the 'marimo' still facing her way. Zoro watched her make a circle motion with her pointing finger. It took a moment for Zoro to realise that she wanted him to turn around. He had been in deep thought again about the letter that he forgot his manners.

"Ah..sorry.." Zoro whispered, rubbing the back of his head facing the wall. Nami noticed his ear was a tinged of red. She giggled. How cute! Her amusement only put a frown on Zoro's face.

"You can turn around now. I'm finished."

Prince Zoro took in the sight of the woman in front of him. He was right. The shirt was a little too big for her. It covered the short she was wearing, making it seem as if she wasn't wearing anything underneath. It was also drooping on one side, showing off her creamy shoulder and a red strap. Her long hair clinging to her neck due to sweat. Her eyes half-lidded, probably from her fever. He shook his head as he stared at her longer than he intended to. But he had to admit, she looked cute and innocent. A big contrast to her personality.

"You should go back to rest. You still have a high fever." He suggested.

"I'm fine.." She paused then continued, "but I'll go back to sleep. Not because you told me to. But because I want to." She made her way back to bed, only this time she threw most of the blankets on the floor.

Zoro smirked at her action and left the room.

Prince Zoro wanted to go to the kitchen to look for food but because of his lack of direction, eventhough he lives there, he managed to get lost and was touring the castle. For some reason, he found himself in the hall.

It's an understatement to say that Zoro was shocked at the sight of all the castle workers asleep in the hall. To be honest, he wasn't sure what type of reaction he was suppose to show. But he knew one thing for sure. This is evidence for what was said in the letter.

He looked down to his left beside him.

"CHOPPER!" He knelt down beside him and carried him in his lap. He lightly slapped Doctor Chopper's cheek to wake him up. "wake up..doctor.. wake up.."

Doctor Chopper snuggled into his chest. "mmm..noo..too tired.."

Zoro looked around the room and found more of his friends, even that love-cook.

He went to Brook and shook him awake. "Brook.. wake up!"

Brook craned his neck towards the noise. "mm?"

"Wake up! You gotta wake up now!"

"...panties?" He sighed and went back to sleep.

Zoro went over to Usopp next. His frustration increasing due to the inability to wake his friends up.

"Usopp! WAKE UP!" He yelled slapping his face over and over again.

Usopp sat up.

Prince Zoro's face showed relief as he managed to wake one of them up.

"I AM THE BRAVE KING USOPP!" He shouted while lifting his hands up in the air. After a while, he collapsed back down again and snored.

Multiple veins popped out of Prince Zoro's head and he punched Usopp's face until it was all swollen and purple.

"hmph."

He glanced at the love-cook. He hoped that he would wake up. Otherwise, he wouldn't know what else to do. On his way to the sleeping Sanji, he had an idea that might..MIGHT wake him up with just one word. He really hoped it would work.

He bent down to Sanji's lying form and grabbed his ear. He pulled it towards him and whispered...
