I Love You

Ricko's POV

The tears won't stop now; I can't make stop them no matter how hard I try.

I hiccup through my tears, and I know I'm soaking his probably very expensive shirt. 'I didn't turn into my zodiac form. Does that mean?…..'

Tamaki speaks again when he buries his face in my hair, "Your friend Tohru told me how I could break your curse in a way that she didn't do with the rest of your family. She said that she accepted them as friends and family. I accept you as the girl I love." I gasp and choke in shock.

He repeats himself again and pulls his face out of my hair to stare into my watery charcoal eyes, "I love you, Ricko." I let out one more cry then I push myself up on my toes and press my lips firmly against his.

~Later at Shigure's House~

I haven't let go of Tamaki's hand since Haruhi and the guys found us wrapped in each other's arms on that damned bridge.

We're all laughing at Shigure's attempts to calm down Yuki and Kyo. I get a moment when Tohru goes in the kitchen with a wide smile on her face. I glance at Tamaki and he nods in understanding. He lets go of my hand and I go after Tohru.

"Ricko," Tamaki calls.

I glance back at him with shining eyes, "Yes?"

Tamaki's smile is huge, "Just make sure you come back this time, okay?" He has an amused expression but still a serious look under it.

I nod with a grin, "Of course, you'll be the first one I look for when I'm finished."

I go into the kitchen and immediately pull Tohru into a tight hug. Vegtables are squished between us, but I pay them no mind. "Thank you, Tohru. I'm forever indebted to you. My whole family is." When I let go and look at her face, he's blinking those big blue eyes in confusion.

"Thank you for what?" She asks innocently and I smile softly.

"For breaking our family's curse. For sending Tamaki and my friends to steal me back. Thank you for just being you and falling into our lives. Without you, the Sohmas would be the same way we were, and we'd probably continue on for a long time like this until the zodiac members finally all broke as all the past members have in history."

Tohru smiles and pulls me into another hug, "Your welcome. This family has brought me a lot of happiness as well."

Suddenly, there is a loud crash from the living room area and a lot of yelling. I dash out of the kitchen to see Akito screaming at the Host's and my boyfriend. "WHERE THE HELL IS RICKO?!" He screams and I walk briskly over to him and face him down.

"What do you need me for?" My hands are shaking a little, but for the most part, I am not afraid of him anymore. Tamaki has helped me get over his fear and now my hands stop shaking as I think of him.

He grabs my hair and pulls my face close to his, too close. "Why the fuck are those men here?!" He snarls in my face. I put on a stone cold expression and remove his grip from my hair.

"They are here because we want them to be." I throw his hand away from me and step away from him with steel in my eyes and voice now. "Is there a problem with that?" I say boldly and fury blazes in his eyes.

"How dare you-" He raises his arm to slap me across the face, but another hand catches it. It's Yuki's hand.

"Isn't this enough, Akito?" He questions with a tired expression on his face. "I am no longer scared of you, and now Ricko isn't either. No-one is scared of you anymore and you can no longer control us like this." He matches my steel tone of voice. Akito's head whips back and forth between us.

"Akito, I will no longer be put down and beaten by you. I have friends and loved ones who support me. You may be the head of the family I belong to, but you do not tell me what to do. You will do that to none of us any longer." I hold my head high, and Tamaki stands up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. Kyo and Shigure stand up as well.

Akito angrily yanks his wrist out of Yuki's grip and glares daggers at all of us. "Fine, but we'll see how long this will last." He then whips around leaves quickly. We are all quiet until we hear voices outside and a car starting up and driving away.

It is the end of all this, and it will last forever. After my curse was broken, we contacted all the other former members of the zodiac and spoke to them about this issue with Akito and they all agreed immediately that we wouldn't suppress to his anger or violence anymore.

A huge smile breaks into my face and I squeal in delight and jump into Tamaki's arms. The whole room erupts in loud cheers of relief and happiness. Tamaki laughs and twirls me in the air. When he sets me down, I hug each of my cousins.

"We're free!" I shout as I crush Tohru in a hug.

When I return to Tamaki's arms, I look around at everyone and see nothing but bright smiles and joy radiating throughout the room.

I face Tamaki with an adoring smile that matches his own while he looks down at me. "Thank you, this is perfect."

Our lips meet and tears slip down my face as they do.

So, this might be the last chapter, I'm not too sure yet. If I don't get any requests to put anything else in, then I'll finish this story with this chapter. Thanks to everyone who kept reading this! Love you guys!
