I'm sorry for the late update last chapter, and knowing my beta, this one will take longer, too...

My O.C.s. One is simply there for my fun and the other is there to add to the story.

Any who... warnings in this chapter.

Kuroko no Basuke doesn't belong to me.

"Ne, Junpei. Come here. I have to show you something."

"Ok... but what would you have to show me in here, Misaki?"

"I have something for you; so come here, ok?"

"Agh! Misaki! What the hell-"

"Hush, Junpei. Do you want for people to hear you scream? Well... probably. But I won't have that. About that conversation we had last week..."

I shot up from my bed, already feeling the tears streaming down my face, and my heart pumping blood faster then it should have been. I tried to wipe them, only for them to continue. Aww, fuck it.

Today was Sunday, meaning I didn't have school.

No one to make me feel secure.

I wiped my eyes once more before grabbing my glasses and rolling out of my bed. I coughed a little bit, then sniffled.

I felt like shit.

I hesitantly opened the door to my room to go find my phone, which I had left on the living room table of my home. I grabbed it with shaky hands and dialed '1' on speed dial. My phone rang. And rang. Just as I was about to give up, a groggy voice spoke through the receiver.

"What the hell do you want so early? It's eight."

I sighed before speaking. "R-riko." I could have laughed at the weakness of my own voice.

"I had that dream again."

Riko quieted her groaning at this.

"O-oh... Junpei, I'll be right there."

I heard a soft knock at my door before I stood and unlocked it, my hands shaking slightly. Riko stepped in, a worrying look painting over her face.

"Are you ok, Junpei?" She glanced at my red eyes and shook her head. "I guess not. Do you want to talk about it? I've heard that talking helps."

I shook my head. "Well, then I feel useless."

I glanced at Riko for a split second. "Thank you, Aida."

"Don't act unfamiliar! We've known each other since 2nd grade. And what for?"

"Saving me all those years ago. From him."

Riko frowned. "What else would I have done...? But, even I was surprised. Never thought that he would have done it; I've known him longer then I have known you."

Riko continued. "Any who, no more being sad or scared or whatever the hell you were. Let's go out, or something."

I looked at her with surprise evident in my eyes.

She sighed again. "Junpei, it wasn't even that bad, we just had the mess beaten out of us. No big deal."

"You still have scars from the stitches! It's all my fault, I shouldn't have let you save me, you told me not to trust him!"

Riko then grabbed and yanked on my ear. "STOP WITH THE GODDAMN SELF PITY! IT WAS SEVEN YEARS AGO! I don't even know why it scares you so much! It was a fight-"
"That we almost died in! His main goal was to fucking rape me-"
"So what? We're alive now! Even if he did get to you, it was seven years ago! I completely forgot about it! It shouldn't be nightmare, shouldn"t it be a hurdle you overcame? And we're going out with Mitobe and Izuki, understood?!"
"But-"
"No fucking buts! We're leaving, and that's final!"

We were walking down the street. Yay.

I tried to resist snarling as Izuki kissed Mitobe on the lips.
I don't really have anything to be angry about, except the fact that I wasn't attractive enough to snag a boyfriend.

Mitobe shook his head.

"Rinnosukeeeeee."

Mitobe made a shrugging type motion and continued to gesture.

How the actual fuck does Izuki understand that?

I sighed, and Riko playfully punched my shoulder.
Oh no.

That's Riko's mischief face- Great Kami, what's she planning now?

Izuki stopped in a plaza. "Uh, I invited my old friend, if you don't mind. He's an old family companion."
What friend of Izuki's isn't my friend?

"Sure. Okay, then."

The sun blazed flamboyantly above us.
I also wanted to glare at that, but my want for a little bit of eyesight stopped me.
Turning to the others, I wanted to suggest going into a shady place, but I was abruptly interrupted.

"Shun! THERE you are, you gave me the wrong directions!"

I flinched at the voice, and Riko's smile widened.

That bitch.

"Oh, hello, Hyuuga-san, Aida-chan, Mitobe-san."

I turned around with a smile on my face, greeting the gentle giant.
"Good morning, Kiyoshi-san."

I think Izuki noticed my awkward situation and suggested we move to "the mall, or something."
Mitobe nodded, Riko shrugged, and I had to stop myself from facepalming.

And so we went to the fucking mall.

I sighed as Riko just about dragged me to every store I was uninterested in.

Life...
