The Dating Life Chapter 2: Hanging out at the studio!
Kat's POV
"Kat! Kat! Kat!" I heard Carlos exclaim, while running into my bedroom while I was still asleep.
"What do you want Carlos?" I said grumpily.
"I forgot to tell you last night, but I called my boss and asked, if you could hang out at the studio. He said you could, if you don't mess anything up, so get up! You're coming to the studio with me today!" I groaned and just put the pillow over my head. "Come on sleepy head! I want you to meet more of my friends." He said coming closer to me.
"I can do that tomorrow." I said. He jumped on top of me, and I gasped.
"Nope you are doing it today! I'm not getting off of you till you agree to come to the studio with me today." He crossed his arms. I sighed.
"Fine I'll go. Just get off of me you fatty." I said jokingly. He's not fat. He just gained a lot of muscle. He fell beside me on the bed and popped right back up.
"I'll fix breakfast! You get ready!" He said running out of my room. I sighed and got up and took a shower. I then put on a purple dress with a brown belt and some purple converses. I went downstairs and smelled eggs and hashbrowns. The breakfast of champions me and Carlos used to call it.
"I thought for your first breakfast we should have our breakfast of champions." He said setting down our plates with food.
"Wait where is the-" He pulls a jar of strawberry jam and got a couple pieces of toast out of the toaster.
"Can't have our breakfast of champions without our toast." He said also putting a slice of toast on my plate.
"Thanks." Once we were done, we hopped into his car and headed to the studio.
"Okay I have to head to hair and make-up, but you are more than welcome to hang out in my dressing room till I get done." I nodded and went into his dressing room, which was clean. He has always been OCD. I sat down on his couch and started playing games on my phone.
"Hey I didn't know you were coming with Carlos today." Kendall said walking in. I put down my phone and looked at him.
"Yeah he made me get out of bed and made me come today."
"He sat on you didn't he?"
"Yep."
"He's done that to me a few times too. When he does that, he can make you do anything." I laughed.
"That's so true." Me and Kendall kept on talking till Carlos came back.
"Oh hey Kendall, you must have gotten here really early since I didn't see you in hair and make-up." Carlos said grabbing a bottle of water out of his refrigerator. "Yeah I woke up before my alarm and couldn't go back to bed, so I got here super early. I really need some coffee, so I'll talk to you later Kat." Kendall said. He left. Carlos then turned to me. "You ready to see the set where all the magic happens?" I nodded. He then showed me to the set of what looks like an apartment maybe. "This is the 2J crib. This is where me, the guys, and Kendall's faux mom and sister live. It's pretty cool huh?" "Um, yeah! Dude there's a swirly slide!" I said running over to it. "Yeah you want to try it out?" He asked going over to where I guess the stairs were to get up there. "Sorry I'm wearing a dress and unless you want to see me flash everyone then that wouldn't be a good idea." "Okay remember next time not to wear a dress." He said walking over to me. Just then a blonde girl walks onto the set reading a script. "Hey Carlos, do you know where Kendall is? I really need to ask him something." The blonde said coming up to us. She then noticed I was standing next to Carlos. "Who's this?" She asked rather rudely. "This is my best friend Kat. Kat this is Katelyn Tarver. She plays Jo, Kendall's love interest on the show." "Hi nice to meet you." I said holding my hand out for her to shake, but she didn't. She just huffed and turned to Carlos. "So where did you say he was?" She asked completely ignoring me. "He's probably at the refreshments table. He said he needed some coffee." Carlos said. Katelyn then left. I turned to Carlos. "She doesn't like me." I said. "She just doesn't know you yet." We walked over to where some chairs were off the stage. "You can sit here and watch us do our thing." He said pointing at a chair that said Carlos. "Oh my gosh is that Carlos Pena's chair?" I asked in a really high pitched voice. We started laughing so hard. "Hey guys what's so funny?" James asked walking over to us. "Nothing nothing." I said sitting in the chair previously mentioned. "Okay well Carlos we have to take our places." "Alright I'll see you when we're done." Carlos said going off with James to the stage. Just then Katelyn came over looking mad. "I saw you with Kendall in Carlos's dressing room." She said crossing her arms. "Yeah, so? What's got your panties in a wad?" "Well everyone here knows that me and Kendall have a thing going on." "One, Kendall has not mentioned you nor that he had anything going on with you, and two, me and Kendall were just talking. Gosh you're one to jump to conclusions." "All I'm saying is that you should watch your back." "And all I'm saying is that you can't tell me who I can be friends with." "You just wait." She said as she left.
