Summary

Autumn Monroe, resident queen bee and bitch, comes back to Beacon Hills after a much needed break to find things aren't how they used to be. For instance, she no longer runs the school as her former 'best friend' and now enemy, Lydia Martin, has taken her place. Autumn will stop at nothing to destroy Lydia's life like Lydia destroyed hers.

Gia Anderson is the new girl with high hopes for her new life in Beacon Hills. She's ready to take on life away from her overbearing family and start fresh, but things prove to be a little difficult when things start to happen around town. And she's not the only that notices. Gia and Autumn may be the unlikeliest of friends, but they will learn that not every thing about Beacon Hills is what it seems.

Burning Bright

Part Two

"Autumn," Gia replies calm as ever as she places a hand on my elbow. "Hey look at me," she demands waving her hand in front of my face until I mutely turn to her. Her eyes hold mine, not an ounce of panic in her brown orbs. "This looks a lot worse than it is. We aren't even sure if they are, in fact, werewolves. We can't jump to conclusions until we have solid proof. So take a deep breath and we'll take this one step at a time. Okay?" She asks letting her eyes drift to Isaac and the sheriff talking on the field.

I follow her gaze to see Isaac look at me for a split second and in that moment as our eyes lock. I know Gia is right. I turned to look back at the girl who was literally my sound of reason.

"You are right. We need to find out why they are questioning him" I said as I stood up and descended the bleachers. I couldn't hear Gia behind me so I turned back to see Gia staring off into the woods again. "Aren't you coming John? I need you, you know, can't be Sherlock without John." I questioned her with a smile; trying hard to push the feelings of dread that were filling me.

"Of course," she shakes her head following me down the bleachers. "Lead the way partner," she smiles encouragingly nodding towards the sheriff. "I'll be right behind you every step of the way, promise." She looks at me seriously letting me know she's sticking around for good. I smile at my new friend with a wink and she as promised follows me down the field. I can see Stiles and Scott coming closer into view. I hear whispering as people see me going toward Isaac causing Stiles and Scott to turn around.

"Hey, Autumn. Where you going?" Stiles asked nervously.

"To see why one of my friends is getting questioned by your father." I answered honestly to see Stiles eyes widen in surprise at me calling Isaac my friend. I take a step forward, but Stiles grabbed my hand and I looked up at the geeky boy to see him looking at me sadly.

"They are talking to him because his dad was found murdered." Stiles whispered to me. I felt my mouth go slack and I didn't understand what he had just said. I saw them argue I picked Isaac up and…Oh God…he said he wasn't a problem anymore. I turn to Gia who is looking at me sadly. I turn to look at Isaac who is staring at me sadly.

The Sheriff then tells Isaac something causing him to follow behind him, but not without one last glance in my direction. I feel my insides go cold as I don't know how to perceive this. I look to Stiles who is looking at Scott nervously before he turns to me with sad eyes. He then looks down his eyes widening and I follow his gaze to see we are still holding hands. I let go and could see Stiles cheeks were burning red and I felt myself become a bit flushed. I looked up at Gia who was looking at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Autumn I promise I will try to help Isaac." Scott tried to reassure me and I looked to Gia who was looking at Scott with a little twinkle to her eye. Oh, man does she have it bad. I looked down at my feet contemplating how I was going to go about this. I knew I had to do something.

"I've got to go." I said in a rushed tone and walked off the field. I could hear faint footsteps behind me.

"Autumn!" I heard Gia call my name, but I kept walking trying to wrap my mind around what just happened. "Hey will you wait a minute?" I heard Gia ask seconds before I'm being spun around to face the brunette. She's watching me with sorrow, but now I could see there was a new fire dancing in her eyes. "Listen I just have one question for you that I want you to answer honestly." She began looking me straight in the eyes. "Do you think Isaac murdered his father?"

"Honestly, no." I answered her without hesitation. "I saw him and his father arguing last night and looked for him for thirty minutes until I found him." Gia was staring at me with such intent I knew she was all ears. "Mr. Lahey was an awful man to Isaac. I didn't know him at all really, but it doesn't take a genius to know that he beat Isaac." I looked into Gia's astonished eyes. "He sobbed for an hour straight like a child who just lost everything and last night I didn't even know why he was sobbing. Little did I know it was because he really had lost everything. I'm such a horrible person. I should have known but I'm not good at this... being here for people. I failed him. I couldn't even comfort him the right way, but I've got to make this right for him." My voice cracked as my eyes watered and I looked in the distance to see Stiles and Scott staring at me sadly.

"I can tell you this right now Autumn you did not fail him." Gia shook her head stubbornly her words ringing with so much certainty. I looked back to the girl whose words caught me off guard. "You found him when he needed someone the most. You were there for him when he thought he had no one and you gave him hope. That is not nothing Autumn and it sure as hell does not make you a horrible person. You did everything right by just being there for him. That was enough, trust me." Gia smiled before crushing me to her chest for a hug. You know, for such a small girl she sure has some muscle on her. I placed my arms around her waist and hugged her back. My watery eyes let out a traitorous tear as Gia and I hugged.

"Now," she said pulling away getting back to business. "I'm assuming you have a plan and I want in on it." She gave me a crooked smile swaying on her feet. I laughed and wiped under my eyes making sure not to ruin my make-up. I looked to see that Scott and Stiles were still staring at us. I didn't know if they could hear us but I sure as hell did not want them too. I grabbed Gia's hand and pulled her further away from the crowd of people and toward the school. Once I felt like we were a good distance away I stopped and turned to Gia.

"I'm going to the office. The sheriff has to be holding Isaac there for questioning or transport. You keep an eye out on Scott and Stiles at all costs. They are surely planning something and we need to know what it is." I said to the brunette who was nodding at my instruction.

"I won't let them out of my sight," she said a small smile turning up her lips. "Make me proud Sherlock." She winked just as the bell rings.

"Will do, Dr. Watson." I give her a salute and we both laugh as we go our separate ways. I hurriedly make my way through the crowd and see that there are two deputies outside the office. Bingo. I walked toward the door and one of the deputies stops me.

"Excuse me, but you can't go in there." One of the bored deputies said looking at me with an annoyed expression.

"I have to speak to Sheriff Stilinski. I've got some news that could possibly help him." I said as I crossed my arms. He looked me up and down as if he was considering if I was lying or not.

"Alright." He said as he led me into the office and toward Sheriff Stilinski. Once I see him I run toward him.

"Isaac he's innocent he was with me last night." The Sheriff's face seemed to flash with relief.

"Okay, let's talk in private." The Sheriff led me into one of the offices.

"So, can you please tell me what happened?" Sheriff Stilinski asked as he motioned for me to sit in the chair. I quickly sat down and started my story of how last night's events unfolded, of course, leaving out the kiss.

"I appreciate you coming forward Autumn." Sheriff said with a sad sigh.

"But it's not enough." I stated what was written on his face. I had known that the thirty minutes of me searching for him wouldn't be enough to keep him out of custody.

"Unfortunately, no it's not. I wish it was." He sighed sadly.

"He wasn't covered in blood or anything he was just drenched in rain when I found him." I stated hopefully. Sheriff Stilinski smiled a sad smile.

"You know you'd get along great with my son. He'd really like your attitude and drive to prove he's innocent. Stiles loves to solve cases. Do you know my son?" The Sheriff asked kindly and his eyes lit at the mention of Stiles.

"Yes, I do know Stiles. Not very well, but I can say that doesn't surprise me. He's quite clever. I think he might be a bit intimidated by me though, but can't blame him. I'm pretty much the town's crazy girl." I said with a little chuckle. Sheriff Stilinski didn't find my comment funny about me being crazy.

"Stiles is intimidated by you because you're just as clever with attitude sounds about right, but not because you're crazy. You aren't crazy." He said kindly and I couldn't help the smile that spread across my lips.

"Thanks, Sheriff Stilinski." He gave me a smile and escorted me out the door.

I watch Autumn walk away from me with a small smile on my face. She struts with a fierce determination that, no doubt, will get her what she wants. I have to give props to my new friend, even with the numerous rumors flying around about her; she holds her head high and walks like she owns the place. That's something I can admire.

I'm pulled from my thoughts when my phone vibrates in my pocket. With a sigh, I take it out and check the caller ID.

"Shit." I mumble twisting on my heel and walking towards the school doors. "Hey Syd," I greet my oldest sister unenthusiastically rubbing a restless hand down my face. "I can't really talk my class is abo-"

"This won't take long," she cuts me off her voice dripping with superiority. I pucker my lips, but remain silent as I push through the school doors. I'm hoping the chatter of students will drown out her voice. "Why haven't you called home? Everyone's been worried sick." I roll my eyes at my sister's dramatics.

"It's been a week, Sydney. I'm still getting settled." I shake my head weaving my way through the throng of students. "Plus maybe if dad would bother to pick up one of nana's phone calls he'd know how I am."

"He's been busy, we all have." Sydney bites as I come to a stop outside of Harris's classroom.

"I get that, but so have I." I reason peeking my head inside to find Stiles has stolen my seat next to Scott.

"You know, I wasn't going to say anything, but all of us find you're sudden need to move in with nana very selfish." I'm not even surprised when those words leave my sister's mouth. I'm actually more shocked she didn't open the conversation with that.

"I'm not arguing with you about this right now. I have class. Good-bye." I hang up before she can say anymore. She's already put a black cloud over my decent morning.

"Ms. Anderson!" I snap my head up when Mr. Harris calls me out. He's standing by his desk watching me like a hawk. "Will you be joining us today or would you like to spend some quality time with me in detention?" He narrows his beady eyes as I quickly shake my head no. I step farther into the classroom ignoring the whispers and pointed gazes thrown my way. Luckily, I spot an empty chair in the back right behind Scott and Stiles, the perfect seat to keep an eye on them. I hurriedly cross the room avoiding Scott's eyes at all costs before sliding into my seat.

"You must be Gia." I lift my gaze to the very handsome boy sitting across from me. His brown eyes are kind complementing his heart melting smile. He's a looker that's for sure. "I'm Danny; it's nice to finally meet you." He holds out his hand that I gladly accept.

"It's nice to meet you too," I grin, my bad mood dissipating with just one smile from this boy. I eye him from across the lab table, okay; I'm mostly just eyeing his muscles. But they are really nice muscles.

"You're friends with Autumn, right?" He asks smiling when I nod my head yes. "She's a little rough around the edges, but once you get to know her you'll have a friend for life." Danny speaks fondly of Autumn making my smile widen.

"I've noticed she can be a bit…brazen." We both laugh at my word choice, "but I can't think of a better person to have as my friend."

"I like you," Danny points his finger at me causing a crimson blush to flare in my cheeks.

"Danny!" Stiles interrupts our conversation as Danny and I both turn to him. "Where's Jackson?" He asks almost panicked. I look at Scott who is already staring at me.

"In the principal's office talking to your dad," Danny whispers causing a spasm to slide through Stile's body.

"What? Why?" Stiles asks throwing his arms out like it's the most absurd thing he's ever heard.

"Maybe because he lives across the street from Isaac," Danny states before looking at me and rolling his eyes playfully. I grin, turning back to Scott and Stiles just in time to hear Scott whisper witness. I cock an eyebrow as both boys remain oblivious to my eavesdropping.

"We gotta get to the principal's office," Stiles mutters, his leg bouncing restlessly while he thinks.

"How?" Scott questions watching Stiles intently before his eyes slide to mine. I don't even pretend to act like I wasn't listening as I stare back at him.

"I got it!" Stiles quietly screeches ripping out a piece of paper and balling it up.

"Everyone please turn to page 73," Mr. Harris demands his back to the class. I can only shake my head and watch while Stiles cocks his arm back throwing the piece of paper at our teacher. It bounces off the back of his head effortlessly before he whirls around so fast it gives me whiplash. "Who in the hell did that?" He spits, his eyes narrowing on Scott and Stiles who are innocently pointing at each other. "Office now!" He snarls pointing towards the door as the boys excitedly grab their things and haul ass out of the room.

"I'll never understand those two," Danny mutters going back to his paper. I nod staring down at my own blank sheet.

"I need to talk to you, rent a cop." His voice was so disrespectful I flinched.

"Jackson!" I chastised him.

"What are you doing here?" He looked at me confused.

"Talking to the Sheriff." I responded. His eyes grew big and he smirked.

"Telling him how Lahey took beatings from his dead father." The Sheriff and I looked at Jackson stunned. He knew!

"You knew?!" I yelled out stunned.

"You two come on we need to talk." He directs Jackson and me to the office again. I stalk into the room fuming and sat on the chair I was seated in minutes before.

"You knew that he was getting beat and you never once said anything?" I questioned Jackson angrily.

"Come on you had to have known too. Everyone knows." Jackson said it like it was no big deal. In all the years I had been friends with Jackson I had never felt so disappointed in him.

"Did you know this Autumn?" Sheriff asked me.

"I just assumed after the incident in the graveyard after I met his father. I assumed, but he never said anything. So, I didn't want to pry if he wanted to tell me he'd say something. You know?" Sheriff Stilinski nodded his head.

"Hah. The whole neighborhood heard what Lahey was doing to Isaac." Jackson's voice was so douchey I didn't even recognize him in that moment.

"YOU JERK!" I yelled at him angrily. "How could you say something like that?" I looked at who I considered my best friend and realized I didn't recognize him. He wasn't the sweet little boy I'd grown up with anymore.

"Autumn don't even start. You don't even know the g-"Jackson was interrupted by Sheriff Stilinski.

"Listen to me, you're telling me that that you knew Isaac's father was hitting him?" His voice was mirroring my disgust.

"Hitting him? He was kicking the crap out of him." Jackson chuckled at the last part and the Sheriff and I looked at each other in utter disbelief. I shook my head and looked down at my black and white heels wondering how Jackson could be so cruel.

"Did you ever say anything to anyone?" A teacher, parents, anyone?" His voice held disdain and I couldn't even bring myself to look at Jackson.

"Nope. It's not my problem" His voice was so nonchalant. I gasped and finally looked at him shaking my head in disgust. How could he allow Isaac to live through that kind of hell and not feel guilty.

"No, no, of course not. You know, it's funny that the kids getting beaten up are always the ones who least deserve it." Sheriff said looking at Jackson chuckle.

"Yeah." He continued to chuckle until the words caught up to him. "Wait, what?" His voice angered with disbelief.

"I think we're done here." Sheriff Stilinski walked out and I jumped at the chance to speak to him. I ran after him not giving Jackson a second glance.

"Can I please see him. Really quick. I just want to make sure he's okay. Please." He looked at down at me and then at his deputies.

"Yes, come on follow me." I smiled brightly at the kind man in front of me. I followed behind him and out the office to see Stiles and Scott sitting outside the office.

"Hi, Scott." Sheriff said as he looked at his son Stiles cower behind a magazine. I arched my eyebrows at the boy. He looked at me from behind the magazine.

"Hi, Stiles." I said with a wink causing Stiles to jump up and his face turned a bright red. He instantly brought the magazine over his face abruptly leaving Sheriff Stilinski to look at me with a huge smile. He turned to the boys and rolled his eyes. With a shake of his head he continued down the hall I and I followed quickly behind him.

"Told you he is intimidated by me." I let out a small chuckle and Sheriff Stilinski smiled. We stopped in front of the teacher's lounge.

"I didn't just see intimidation. I think he might see something in you that other people haven't seen." Sheriff said with a small smile and I can tell my confusion is giving him a good tickle. "Isaac is in here you have five minutes, okay?"

"Yes, sir. Understood." He nodded his head and opened the door for me. I walked through the doorway to see Isaac looking at me with surprise and relief. I turned back to the Sheriff. "Thank you." He nodded his head and closed the door behind him.

I walked toward Isaac who was sitting handcuffed to a desk. He was looking at me with confusion and sadness. I stood in front of the boy who looked absolutely broken and I placed my hand on his cheek.

"I know you didn't do it. Call me crazy, everyone already does, but I know that someone as sweet as you wouldn't hurt anyone. Even if he was hurting you." Isaac's eyes watered with my words. He closed them tightly and he just nodded his head.

"I'm going to get you out of this. I promise." Isaac opened his eyes to look at me with confusion.

"How?" He questioned. I smiled and placed my hand in his cuffed one.

"I'm Autumn Monroe." I answered him back and then wrapped my arms around him. "Trust me." I whispered into his ear. Isaac nodded his head and let out a small sigh. I pulled away just as Sheriff Stilinski opened the door.

"Come on Autumn." I nodded my head and gave Isaac's hand one last squeeze.

"Trust me." I said one last time before I let go and walked out the room.

"Thanks, Sheriff." I gave him a bright smile. I was about to walk down the hall when the Sheriff stopped me.

"You aren't crazy, you're just ambitious. You aren't afraid to go after what you want. That is admirable." Sheriff said with a wave. I smiled at the man. I now knew were Stiles got his unique quality of being a genuinely good person. I might not know Stiles, but to see he was an amazing person wasn't hard.

"Thank you. I wish people were more open-minded." I waved goodbye.

"Stiles is." He said with a smile. I laughed at the Sheriff's antics. I walked away with a smile and the thought of one other person not thinking I'm crazy. It felt nice. Thinking of people not thinking I'm crazy. Where the hell is Boston?

After about ten minutes of doing nothing, but staring at the clock I raise my hand.

"What do you want Ms. Anderson?" Mr. Harris barks narrowing his eyes at me. I would be taken aback if I didn't already know this was his style.

"I have to use the restroom," I come up with the first lie that lands on my tongue.

"Hold it." He responds dryly going back to his papers. I chew the inside of my cheek looking towards the door in longing.

"Sir!" I say rocking back and forth in my chair for show, "I really have to go…plus it's my time of the month." I feel my face turn beat red as snickers resound through the classroom.

"Just go," Mr. Harris consents with disgust as I beam. I shove my books in my bag and fly out the door. The halls are empty as I power walk to the office. I briefly wonder if Autumn will be there, but I know I'll meet up with her later. I turn the corner to the office when suddenly the door is being thrown open revealing Scott. He fails to notice me when he barrels past me down the steps and out the school doors. I don't dare let him go as I run after him being careful not to draw his attention. I come to a rather ungraceful stop by the front doors when I see Isaac being driven away by the cops. I, instantly, frown wondering where Autumn is. I peek through the windows watching as the police car is quickly replaced with a black mustang, the man I saw from the woods earlier in the driver's seat.

"Get in," he commands looking at Scott through his shades. I almost gasp at how utterly gorgeous the man looks. I may not know him, but I'm not blind.

"Are you serious?" Scott yells in disbelief. "You did that! That's your fault!" He points at the retreating cop car carrying Isaac.

"What the hell?" I mumble leaning in farther towards the window so I can see better.

"I know that. Now get in the car and help me." The guy speaks with so much power that it sends a chill down my spine. Who in the hell is he?

"No, I've got a better idea. I'm gonna call a lawyer. Because a lawyer might actually have a chance at getting him out before the moon goes up." Scott yells making me nod my head.

"Nice one," I silently compliment him as he continues to argue.

"Not when they do a real search of the house." The man reveals leaning farther over in his seat.

"What do you mean?" Scott asks curiously walking closer to the mustang. Even I'm leaning forward trying to catch every word. If this guy knows something about Isaac I'm going to figure it out for Autumn.

"Whatever Jackson said to the cops, what's in the house is worse. A lot worse." The guy deadpans as Scott quiets down not having anything else to say. I watch the man open the door for Scott as he slides in the car without a word. Before they are even out of the parking lot, I have my phone pressed to my ear waiting for Autumn to pick up. I think we've finally found something.

"Where are you? They took Isaac!" Autumn all, but yells over the phone. Her voice sounds desperate and anxious.

"I know I saw the cops take him away. Can you meet me at the front doors?" I ask already pacing the floor.

"I'm actually turning the corner." Autumn's voice sounds off on both my phone and behind me. I turned to see Autumn looking at me her face determined. "We've got a lot of talking and planning to do."

"I agree," I nod opening the door ushering Autumn outside as I follow right behind her. "But we'll have to talk about it in the car." Autumn glances at me confused as we walk to her vehicle. "Scott just left with the man I saw earlier hiding in the woods. His name is Derek and he somehow knows Isaac. I'm pretty sure they are on their way to Isaac's house right now and if we hurry I can figure out what they are up to. I just need a ride." I give Autumn a small smile as we come up to her car.

Autumn nods her head as we get into her car. She doesn't waste any time and before I know it she's pulling out of the parking space high tailing leaving the school behind.

"So, Isaac's dad was beating the crap out of him." Autumn says angrily as she grips her steering wheel tightly whipping by cars left and right. I stay quiet digesting this new information. I want to comfort Autumn, but I think the time for talking is over.

"Poor Isaac," I shake my head feeling sympathy for the boy. "There's something else you should know." I take a breath as I look up at Autumn. She looks tense and ready to spring into action. "When Derek was talking to Scott, he kept mentioning something inside of Isaac's house. Something, I'm assuming, that would give the police evidence to retain Isaac for the night. I'm not sure what it is, but from what Derek said, it isn't good."

Autumn banged on her steering wheel as she let out a yell. Her knuckles were literally white and her face was dead set in rage. She turned to look at me and for once I actually saw craziness behind her eyes. "I thought so. He looked so scared last night when he was running away from his dad. We have to help him." A tear trickled down her pale skin. I felt something tug inside of me as I watched Autumn. I was going to help her get Isaac if it was the last thing I ever did.

"We will," I reassure her, a new strength behind my words. "I promise you Autumn I'm going to do everything I can to help you." I say as we turn onto an unfamiliar street and I spot the black mustang up ahead. "And I'm going to start by finding out what is inside the house. I would say come with me, but I think it's best if I go this one alone." I answer honestly hoping she doesn't take offense to my words. "I think Isaac needs you more than his house does right now."

"None taken. I completely agree, but I think I'm going to need the help of the best friend. So I'm going to have to search for Stiles first." Autumn smiled when she said Stiles name. We came to a stop and she parked in front of a three story modern home. I felt my eyes widen at the enormity of the house. Autumn let a chuckle leave her mouth. "Casa de Monroe. You are welcome anytime." She said with a small smile.

"Thank you," I grin averting my eyes from the monstrosity known as her house. "Okay, if you need me, do not hesitate to call me." I reply seriously glancing back at Derek's black mustang. "Meet me back at my house when you're done?" I ask watching her nod her head. "Be careful Autumn," I smile stepping out of the car.

"Be careful Boston," she calls as I give her a thumbs up and shut the door. I look back towards Isaac's house and wonder, for the first time, how I'm supposed to get inside. Or more importantly, how I'm supposed to spy on two werewolves. This was about to get interesting.

If James Bond could see me right now, he would be appalled. In none of his movies did I ever see him hiding in the bushes. But then again he never had to sneak up on two werewolves on the night of the full moon. After I watched Autumn drive away I immediately ran towards Isaac's house like Channing Tatum was in front of me and Ryan Gosling was behind me. It was only when I heard arguing that I panicked and dove straight into the bushes in fear of being seen. I've been sitting here ever since slowly losing patience as I part the branches and peer at the pair across the street.

"I'm starting to feel a little weird about this," the one boy says tightening his hold on the strap around his shoulder. I lean forward trying to get a better look at him when a twig pokes me in the eye.

"Son of a bi..." I hiss clutching my watering eye. This is why people don't hide in bushes.

"No, no, no, no. What you're feeling is a hundred dollars richer." The other guy retaliates before I realize its Jackson Whitmore. He's the douchebag that insulted Aaron my first day at school. "Give me the camera and go buy yourself another fancy lens or light meter or whatever gives you photography geeks a hard on." Jackson waves the kid off snatching the camera right out of his hands.

"This doesn't have anything to do with Allison, does it?" The boy asks suspiciously continuing when all Jackson gives him is a blank look. "I saw you two at the dance the other night and I kind of figured that you two were, you know, together." Matt shrugs making me smile at how protective he's being over Allison.

"Aw, you have a little thing for Allison, Matt? A little - a little crush?" Jackson taunts the guy, I now know as Matt. What a dick.

"No." Matt declares dejectedly looking at the ground.

"You think I'm gonna waste my time by doing something as unbelievably ordinary as making a sex tape?" Jackson bites sounding offended Matt would even consider Jackson that boring. I roll my eyes as I mentally picture punching Jackson off his high horse.

"Then what are you doing?" Matt asks curiously as I wonder the same thing.

"Documenting history." He becomes serious his face a mask of determined glory. "My history and I want to see it happening. All of it." He narrows his eyes turning back to Matt. "You'll get it back tomorrow." He says turning on his heels and jogging into his house. Matt couldn't look more confused as my thoughts spread like wild fire. Could Jackson be a werewolf? It would explain his sudden need for Matt's camera. I'm suddenly shaken from my thoughts when I spot a light shining through the window just over my head.

"Oh shoot," I snap crawling out from the bushes when I remember the task at hand. However, I only get so far before my hair becomes tangled around a branch. I quietly growl as I diligently untangle myself sighing in relief when I'm set free. I have to keep reminding myself that I'm doing this for Autumn and for Isaac. I may not know the guy, but he doesn't deserve to be locked up.

As silently as I can I move around to the back of the house. I don't hear Scott or Derek inside so I'm assuming they are far enough away that I can sneak in without them knowing. I tip toe to the back door trying the handle only to find it locked. I clench my jaw as I take a step back searching for another way inside. I grin when I see someone has left a window open.

"Suck it James Bond," I murmur easily slipping the window up with no protest. I hull myself up and through the window only releasing a small grunt in response when I hit my elbow. I wince when I see that the kitchen sink is right below me as I try to crawl inside without making any noise. I almost make it too…until my foot slips and I come crashing to the kitchen floor hitting the same knee I banged up earlier. "Crap," I groan before quickly biting my lip and holding my knee. Maybe they didn't hear me?

"Grr," I snap my eyes open when a growl reverberates through the house. I meet the blood red eyes from my nightmare and just like that my knee no longer hurts as I kick my foot into the air hoping I hit something.

I watched as Gia became smaller in my rearview mirror and hoped she'd be safe. Now, I just needed to find Stiles and see how he could help me help Isaac. If Isaac is a werewolf like we suspected then I'd need Stiles' help, but the thing was I didn't know how to contact him. I was going to have to resort to stalking him down. I pushed down on the gas pedal as I realized just where he might be. The sun had begun to set and I looked at the clock in my car to see it showing a full moon right beside the time. Shit!

I pulled into the parking lot of the school and sure enough there was Stiles' jeep. I parked beside him and pulled out my phone. I couldn't call Gia in fear of her getting discovered. I went to my messages and typed in a quick message.

FULL MOON TONIGHT! Please be careful! If we are right about werewolves and if the movies are too. We are kind of in danger. Call me if you need anything!

I pressed the send button and looked out at the setting sun. I needed to get to Stiles and get Isaac out. I pushed the doors to the school open. Damn, Mr. Harris! My heels clicked violently as I ran through the halls looking for Stiles. As, I finally reached Harris's classroom there Stiles was with his head down looking miserable and Harris was sitting behind the desk looking smug. I pushed the door open and arched my eyebrow at Mr. Harris. Stiles shot up from his seat to look at me in surprise.

"Don't you think it's a bit late? After hours with a student who is might I add a minor doesn't seem so good. I think you should let him go before I get my dad involved." I said as I crossed my arms. "You see my dad is very good at making evidence appear. Even if it's something you would never do." I threatened him.

"Miss. Monroe, always such a pleasure to have you around." He said with sarcasm as his eye twitched with displeasure. The threat was something he didn't want to take a chance on. I could see it written all over his face. "You were just in time I was just about to let Mr. Stilinski go." I looked to Stiles who was grabbing his books in a hurry and looking kind of shocked.

"It's about damn time." I said as I walked out of the classroom waiting for Stiles. I pulled my sweater tightly as Stiles came barreling out the door. He stood watching me in wonder.

"We've got a lot of talking to do. Now, you are coming with me." I said as I ran through the hall dragging Stiles with me. Once, we reached the parking lot. I stopped in front of our vehicles.

"Why, did you help me?" Stiles finally asked.

"Two reasons. One, I hate Mr. Harris and anytime I can scare or annoy the crap out of him. I take it. Second, because I know about the werewolves in town. I know Scott is one of them." Stiles' jaw hung open as he stared at me. He shook his head and was about to make a retort. "Don't try to deny it. I know it. You know and I know you can help me get Isaac out. If my hunch is right you want to get him out as well. Because tonight is a full moon and Isaac is just like Scott." Stiles sighed in defeat.

"You really are clever. You aren't crazy you're freaking smart. You are probably smarter than Lydia aren't you?" Stiles voice held intrigue or at least that's what it sounded like. I chuckled.

"I'm what you perceive me to be." I said with a wink causing Stiles to blush.

"Now, who the hell is Derek?" I say to Stiles and it seemed to cause a light bulb to go off.

"I'll explain everything to you on the way." He said as he jumped into his jeep. I opened my car door and grabbed my purse. "Aren't you coming?" Stiles asked from his rolled down window.

"Of course, wouldn't miss a chance to be in a vehicle alone with you Stilinski." I winked at him and made my way into his jeep. One look at Stiles' face and I could see the pink of a blush. I chuckled as I buckled myself in.
