Okay... Sorry for the very very very very late update. Well at least I'm still updating.
I thank Rumbuss for being a very loyal reader and for reviewing, also TheWildPiratess that reviewed.
"hey hey hey, Barbossa!" Rachel said as she entered the Captain's quarters.
"what do ye want?" Barbossa replied coldly. He was reading various maps on his desk.
"can I have your clothes?" Rachel said.
Barbossa stopped and stared at her for a second, maybe two. "I be confused. Are ye trying to flirt or are ye really askin' for my clothes?" he said.
"the latter sounds better than the platter," Rachel stated, Barbossa became more confused.
"in what occasion ye be askin' fer me clothes?"
"in me likeness of yer navy suit," Rachel copied Barbossa's voice.
Barbossa blinked a few times, "it's in the first mate's cabin," he said.
"thank ye fer yer scurvy infermation!" Rachel replied in her 'Barbossa voice' and left.
"okay... No voices. That means I won't be interrupting something intimate or anything," Rachel put her ear on the First mate's door. She slowly opened the door and slipped in.
Jack and Angelica were sleeping soundly, well, aside from Jack's soft snores.
"okay... He's shirtless and she's... I better not wonder... Or look," Rachel said to herself and moved to various storage keeping things.
She found a ball of red yarn on top of the navy suit she was looking for.
"this gives me an idea..." Rachel whispered with a grin.
She took the yarn and cut about three meters of it. She took a vial of something from her pocket and smeared the yarn with its contents.
"well I know I shouldn't be using it for these kind of things, but I just can't resist... Now they won't be able to cut it," Rachel whispered to herself, she stood up and went to the bed.
She took Jack's right hand and tied the string carefully on his pinky finger, and tied the other end to Angelica's left pinky finger. She made sure they can't untie it. "red string of fate ehe," she then took the navy clothes and went out quietly.
The next morning...
"WHOEVER DID THIS TO US WILL BE BLOODY DEAD I TELL YE!" came Jack's screaming from underdecks, the crew who had been working all morning paused and looked at the entrance to underdecks.
"hey it actually fits pretty well, what do ye all think?" Rachel said as she emerged with Barbossa's navy clothes on, "did I miss something?" She said as she noticed the crew was staring at the entrance.
A pissed off and shirtless Jack pulling a fully dressed Angelica emerged, "who did this?!" he said, holding up his right hand, "and it's bloody magic I tell ye! Goes through fabric but not anything else!" Jack continued.
Nobody said anything.
Jack looked accusingly at Rachel's direction.
Rachel grinned sheepishly and bolted away. Jack tried to chase her but was pulled back by Angelica.
"she's gettin' away!" Jack complained, "no! If she planned this, then we plan something for her!" Angelica said not loud enough for Rachel to hear.
Rachel squinted her eyes, "I DID NOT PLAN THIS!" she shouted, "I simply walked into your room and found some red yarn and well..."
"you got the idea of the red string of fate?!" Angelica finished her,
"red string of fate?" Jack said, confused,
"there are legends, in China. That the one who are destined to marry the other is tied with a red string of fate. The string is red, but also invisible. Some take it literally, but this is a whole new level," Angelica said, lifting her left hand, which caused Jack to lift his right.
"you are destined to be with eachother!" Rachel shouted, the crew snickered.
"what are ye all laughin' at? Back to work!" Barbossa said as he stepped out his quarters, then he noticed Jack and Angelica tied together.
"oh that's what..." he said quietly, then he noticed Rachel standing next to him. "are ye wearin'..." he started, Rachel nodded, "isn't it wonderful?!" she said gesturing to her clothes.
"no. Now I feel like I've been a woman before," Barbossa replied.
"well I feel like a man!" Rachel said happily, and strolled off, careful not to get near Angelica or Jack.
"I think I see land up ahead, but I don't think it's whitecap bay," Gibbs said to Barbossa. Barbossa went to the hull of the ship and used his scope.
"I don't think it's an island, Gibbs..." Barbossa said as he lowered his scope, "it's a ship," he continued.
well... sorry it's so short! Me mind be blocked by all these tests... I'll update soon, I think... I love you all who's still reading!
and P.s. I did get your review, Rumbuss. Probably didn't check it because I was in a hurry. Cheered me up for the whole day, probably longer.
