Chapter 3
"What do you think Percy wants to tell us?" asked Nico. Thalia said "I honestly don't know I just hope it isn't fatal." They were on the way to Percy and Annabeth's cabin. Thalia saw a blueberry bush and decided to pick some as a present. Nico helped her by conjuring a basket out of the shadows. After they collected enough, they were on their way. Once reaching the cabin Nico noticed that the outside had an invisible boundary. He willed the shadows to go inside and tell Percy of their arrival. Percy came out shortly after and invited them in. Inside was a beautiful tapestry of Camp Half-Blood and handmade furniture but what stood out the most was a painting of the new Mt. Olympus. Percy and Annabeth asked them to sit down. Annabeth had already set out milk and tea. She took the blueberries from Thalia and quickly washed them. Percy said "We brought you here today because we have some dismal news to tell you." Thalia said "What is it?" Annabeth said "I know this is hard to believe but Percy has cancer and only three months to live." Thalia and Nico were in a state of shock and couldn't find words to say.
Finally, Thalia said "What about Apollo can't he cure you?" Annabeth said "I'm afraid not. The fates forbid him from interfering with Percy's fate." Nico said "Percy, since these are you're last months here will you be needing anything." Percy said "I wish to spend these next few months with my friends completing I never will be able to." Nico said "I'm guessing you have a bucket list." Annabeth said "There is also the fact that Percy and I will be getting married." Thalia said "Although I do not agree with marriage I congratulate you two." Percy and Annabeth nodded their thanks. Nico and Thalia said "I'm assuming you guys have already planned out these next few months." Annabeth said "Yep, and I expect you guys here at 9 A.M. so we can start our next adventure.
A/N: I am so sorry for not updating in months. I think I just forgot about fan fiction. But to make it up to you guys I will update every Monday,Wednesday, and Friday starting the week of June 9th. Till ten I have finals so see ya then.
