Chapter 19

Alright. School is done, and I think this story deserves a chapter. This will be the last chapter, then I'll write an epilogue.

It took the siblings about an hour to make it back home to Mission Creek. They had left Marcus and Douglas in Canada, and they just needed to find Donald, Tasha, and Leo. They headed in the direction of their house, which they saw was completely demolished.

"No. NO!" Bree shouted and ran into the rubble. The boys chased after her.

"Bree. Relax. They're not here," Chase said.

"How do you know?" she asked.

"Well, for one, they were all taken by the government a few months ago, and I just scanned the rubble. There isn't a body in there,"

"Ok. Ok," she stood up, "what do we do now?" she asked.

"I don't know," Chase said.

"We could run away again," Adam suggested.

"But what about our family?" Bree asked.

"Adam has a point. We should go into the shadows, hide, until we know it's safe," Chase said.

"But where would we go?" Bree asked.

"I don't know," Chase said, "lets just pledge, no bionics ever again,"

"No bionics ever again," Bree and Adam said in unison. The three non-bionics turned and began walking down the mountain.

Short, I know, fluffy epilogue coming, probably later today or tomorrow.
