-Gray's POV-
It's been a couple weeks since I started staying with Lucy. She's been crying a lot less lately and when she does cry I hug her, it doesn't take long for her to stop crying. I think I'm starting to fall in love with her. I mean she is beautiful, sweet, smart and strong. I smile at Lucy when she laid her head on my lap and looked up at me.
"Gray thank you for being here with me."
"You're welcome Lucy. After all you are my best friend." I watch Lucy sit up and hug me. I hug her back and smile. I want to ask her out a lot but I'll wait a month or two before I ask her out.
"Hey Lucy I'm going out on a job with Erza. You want to come with me?"
"Sure. Thanks for letting me come with you Gray." I watch Lucy kiss my cheek and I start to blush a little.
We soon got up and walked to the guild hall to meet up with Erza.
"Hey Lucy. It's good to see you again."
"It's good to see you again too Erza."
"So we going now?"
"Yeah we are." I start walking to the train station with Lucy and Erza when I feel Lucy's hand hold mine and I hold her hand back. I think Erza may have seen it as once we got on the train Erza wanted to talk to me privately.
"Gray I saw Lucy holding your hand while we were walking to the train station. I think she may like you."
"You think?"
"Yeah. I mean you've been staying with her after the whole 'Natsu cheating on Lucy with Lisanna' thing right?"
"Yeah I have."
"So it would make sense that since you've been staying with her she would start to fall for you. You were there when she needed someone most."
"You're right about that. And to be honest I may have started falling for her. I really want to ask her out but I'm going to wait a month before I ask her."
"Good idea Gray. Hope things turn out for the best for you two."
