Ros leant heavily against the side of the upturned car as police and paramedics swarmed the scene. She knew Harry had managed to secure his seatbelt before she had shot the windscreen. He looked shaken but was clearly taking charge of the situation.

"Miss?"

"Myers ." Ros stated firmly.

"Are you ok?" She narrowed her eyes as she turned to the young police officer. He visibly paled as she glared at him. "I only asked because your back is bleeding." Ros frowned, not immediately comprehending what she was being told.

"How?"

"Well , the jacket is soaked." Ros nodded once, unsure whether she had the strength to answer him. He frowned as Ros nodded.

"That's the last time I shoot the windscreen of a moving car."

"You shot? "

"I'm Ros Myers. MI-5 section D Counter Domestic Terrorism." Ros paused. "That man is my boss, Sir Harry Pearce."

"Yes." Ros frowned as Harry turned towards her, the police officer he was talking to forgotten.

"Paramedics," Harry stated. "See them now."

He glared at her as he spoke, she knew there was no room for argument. She held his gaze for a moment as he reached her. The world swam around her as the darkness began to encroach on her vision. Moments later Harry eased her to the floor as paramedics ran towards them.

"I."

"Calum, shut up." Catherine hissed as the midwife smiled at them. The grip Catherine had on his hand made him want to cry out in pain but seeing the look on her face he thought better of it. Wisely he stayed quiet as Catherine swore profusely.

"Ok, well done." The midwife looked up.

"Epidural?"

"Too late luv. One more push and baby will be here." The overly chirpy woman stated. Catherine raised an eyebrow.

"For Calum, not me." She hissed as the midwife smirked. Calum held his breath as Catherine proceeded to swear. Moments later a baby's cry filled the room.

"One baby girl." The midwife stated as Catherine fell back on her pillow, exhausted. Calum smiled before checking how many bones in his hand were broken. "Any names?" The midwife handed Catherine her daughter.

"We said we 'd see." Calum bit his lip as the baby opened her eyes.

"Lucy." Catherine looked up. "Lucy Rose."

"My mum's name." Calum stated as Catherine nodded. "And my niece."

"Erin told me Rose is a family name." Catherine stared at the baby. Calum kissed Catherine on her forehead.

"You are amazing."

"We need to ring everyone. Dad, Ruth, Gray and Erin. Charlie wanted a sister." She sighed as she thought of her oldest son. Calum nodded before kissing her again and leaving the room.

Harry buttoned his shirt as the A&E doctor stepped back, the curtain opened as Harry looked sheepishly at his wife.

"And what part of don't end up in hospital didn't you understand?" Ruth raised an eyebrow as the doctor stepped away. "Catherine had a baby girl. I just saw Calum. 8lb 1 oz, Lucy Rose Pearce-Reed."

"Are they?"

"They're perfect. Well, that's what Calum said."

"Good." Harry breathed a sigh of relief. "Ros?"

"In xray. Harry, Malcolm intercepted a video. You and Ros. Tessa and some goon."

"Gun for hire."

" I heard Malcolm ask Adam and Zaf not to tell Lucas and I what they found."

"I wouldn't want you to see it." Harry stood up. "The driver is in custody?"

"Yes." Ruth answered curtly. "Another goon. Not the real driver. I can't find any link back to Downing Street."

"Thank God."

"Harry." Ruth ran her fingers through her hair. "I may have missed something. As your analyst I need to see the video."

"As my wife?" Harry asked as Ruth looked him in the eyes.

"It'll kill me." Harry pulled her into his arms as she clung to him. He closed his eyes and breathed deeply as he tried not to worry about his friend.

Lucas walked into the small cubicle as Ros sat in a heavily blood stained shirt.

"You had me worried."

"Lucas, your default setting is worried." She carefully tried to pull the shirt away from her ruined skin as she spoke. Lucas nodded.

"I brought your spare shirt." Ros smiled slightly as he crossed the room to her. "I've seen wounds like this before. Ros, they hit you with a belt."

"I was there." Lucas' eyes narrowed dangerously as he looked at her bruised and ripped skin.

"Ros." He kissed her temple. "My Ros."

"The nurse is going to clean them up." He nodded. "I. Will you stay here?"

"I'm not leaving you." Lucas held her hand as the nurse walked in pushing a trolley full of dressings. Ros closed he eyes as the nurse began cleaning her ruined skin. Lucas held her hands, gently running his thumbs over her fists as the nurse worked.

"Tessa." Adam glared as Beth looked up.

"Disappeared again. Lee is saying he has never spoken to her. Brewer is keeping quiet."

"Tessa has to be somewhere." Alec snapped. Erin nodded.

"On the plus side I'm an auntie." She smiled as all eyes fell on her. "I just spoke to Calum." Dimitri smiled before shaking his head.

"On the downside, the only link we have to Nightingale is sat downstairs under guard.

"Christine Dale." Adam glared. "Leave her to me."
