Chapter 6 :

A bunch of teenagers with colorful hair were walking towards the elevator. They kept chattering so noisy as usual, but somehow they still emitted their cool aura as ever.

"Let's go Kuroyacchi~ We will be having some time to fun starting today~" Kise, as usual was the one who showed overwhelming happiness.

"Tch, shut up Kise! You're so annoying" grumbled Aomine. The tanned boy walked leisurely beside Kuroko. Midorima only sighed upon seeing those two.

"Oh~ so you're jealous, Aominecchi~~ It's me who will be Kuroyacchi partner after all," teased Kise. Aomine then whacked Kise as the reply.

"That's so mean Aominecchi!" Kise protested loudly.

"Both of you, can you please keep quiet? After all, each of us will have the right time to be a partner for Kuroya, nodayo."

"Hm~ is that true, Midochin?" asked the purple-haired giant as he tried to opened another snack on his hands.

"Whaatt? So I'm not the only one who will be partnering with Kuroyacchi?" Kise looked like had lost his ten years of life.

"Didn't you listen to Akashi, Kise? He said that you will be the 'first' to partner up with Kuroya, not the 'one and only'. It's obviously that we will have time to be paired up with Kuroya," explained Midorima, raised up his glasses a bit as usual.

"Arrghh, I don't like your smart brain Midorimacchi. I thought he will only partner up with me," cried Kise.

"Don't exaggerate it, stupid Kise! At least you're the one who will be his first partner in Teikou," added Aomine.

The elevator had arrived on the first floor. As soon as the elevator's door opened, tons of eyes settled to them. Kuroya, not used to be the center of attention, fidgeting a bit as she felt uncomfortable.

"Heh, you aren't used to be a center of attention, right? Don't worry, is not like they want to see you. They are looking for me of course!" said Aomine confidently.

"Hai, I know it, Aomine-kun." replied Kuroko blankly. Aomine took a step in front of Kuroko, so that his tall figure would cover Kuroko's petite body slightly.

"Wait Aominecchi~ You are way to confident to be in front. The one who the staffs looking the most every day is me the model!"

"What? I couldn't hear whatever you say Kise~ " Aomine teased Kise back.

"Dakara, I said that no one will be looking for a dark man here."

"Damn it! You want a fight huh?"

"What? You had just realized that I am looked better than you Aominecchi?" teased Kise even more.

"Murasakibara, just leave those stupids here. Oha Asa said that today Cancer better stay away from quarreling over something useless. Then Kuroya, hopefully you could survive with those two stupids over there. See you," said Midorima as he take different path along with Murasakibara.

"Shut up Midorima! Don't take me as the same level with stupid and noisy Kise!"

"Midorimacchi so mean! I'm not stupid like Aominecchi!"

"Ano, Kise-kun, Aomine-kun…" a voice popped between the two boys. Both looked to the petite teal haired boy in front of them, "please don't make a scene here. Can't we just go to see someone named Momoi-san instead?"

"Oh I'm sorry Kuroyacchi, let's go to the practice room!" Kise dragged Kuroko all the way to a room with label 'Practice Room 2'.

"Oh, you are coming along to, Aomine-kun?" asked Kuroko, realized that Aomine still walking behind him.

"Don't you have a practice Aominecchi?" Kise also asked him.

"I have an interview later, but now I have some time, why don't I go to your practice room? I want to know your real what-so-good voice of yours, Kuroya."

Kuroko didn't reply him, but followed Kise went inside the practice room.

"Momocchi, I bring Kuroyacchi here ssu!"

"Oh, Kise-kun. I have waited for almost half an hour," said slightly pouted Momoi, "where is our new partner Kuroya-kun? Also Dai-chan! What are you doing here?"

"Why not Satsuki? I come to look for his performance. My interview still 3 hours later, don't be so noisy Satsuki!"

"Hmm? You don't see him Momocchi? He is right in front of you," said Kise with a his finger pointed to Kuroko.

"Umm, I'm here, Momoi-san," said Kuroko softly, not sure that Momoi actually could see her.

"Hmm? Wha- What?" Momoi jerking back, surprised by sudden appearance of teal haired boy in front of her, "since when you are there?"

"He has been standing there right after we came into this room Satsuki," Aomine grinned, "I don't think that you also could not see him at first, since you're someone who pay attention to the details."

"Are you alright, Momoi-san?" Kuroko showed her concerns, "I'm sorry for surprising you like that. Nice to meet you, Momoi-san. I'm looking forward for your help."

Momoi blinked, "Ah, I'm sorry too, Kuroya-kun, for not noticing you. Now, shall we begin the practice? Here is Sakamoto-san and Hiroshi-san. They are the vocal director and music director who responsible in making the digital single for you and Kise-kun," Momoi introduced two men who was sitting on the chair in the center of the room to Kuroya. Kuroya bowed to them, mumbling 'I'm looking forward for your help'.

"Okay Kuroya-kun," said the man named Hiroshi, "could you please show us your voice? It doesn't matter whatever song you choose."

Everyone at the room got their eyes and ears fixed to Kuroko, waiting for her voice. Kuroko, being a little nervous, let out deep sighs repeatedly. Kise gulped, curious to listen to his real voice.

My tired body unwinds with vanilla and the breeze, as I talked with you in my dream

Aomine's eyes both widened. Is this his real voice?

Someday we'll reach that promised place. Someday we'll reach that promised place

Hmm? It's a little different from what I heard, thought Kise.

At the shop I always visit on my way home from club, I sit by the window
There's various talking and silence around me as I drink my vanilla shake

Momoi and the rest had furrowed their eyebrows as well. Kuroya's voice wasn't the type that you could easily tell that it was the golden voice. It was rather unexpected for them. His voice was actually not that good. It was way too soft for a boy, but you couldn't call it a girl's voice. It was very calm, just like his appearance.

"Oi, seems like Akashi had made the first mistake on his life," grinned Aomine.

Kuroko stopped singing. She turned towards Aomine. She could tell just by looking on his eyes, that he was looking down on her.

"What do you mean, Aomine-kun?"
