Chapter 35 – Grounded
After arriving to Pescara and taking directions from a nice old man, Toshiro drove up to the Public Hospital of The Holy Spirit. He parked the motorcycle, and went through the main entrance. The reception was visible from the door, so he made his way there. A blonde nurse in her thirties was behind the reception desk, looking at him carefully.
"How may I help you?" She asked.
"I called earlier."
"Ah, si, I recognize your voice!" She cheered and turned to her right. "Angela! The Colonnello is here!" She turned back to him and with a sweet voice, she said, "Please wait a second, the dottore is coming."
Toshiro leaned over the desk and waited patiently. Then, somebody came out of the room to Toshiro's left, probably the doctor's lounge.
A beautiful young female doctor in her mid-twenties, dressed in a white doctors coat, with a stethoscope hanging down from her neck, and a big brown doctors bag in her left hand. Her shoulder long straight auburn hair was almost glistening, despite it being a bit on the dark side in the room. She approached Toshiro with her hand forward and said, "Doctor Angela Terrazzini, pleased to meet you, Colonnello."
Toshiro gently shook her soft hand and replied, "Colonel Toshiro Edelweiss, pleased to meet you too."
"My carriage awaits, I presume?"
"Yes ma'am, you are right."
"Let's go then."
They walked up to Shirley's bike, and the doctor whistled amazed.
"Such a nice motorcycle… I'm glad I took this job."
"While we're at it, I hope you won't take an arm and a leg for the visit, right?"
"Oh no, no… I have a contract with the army, so everything is billed to them. You won't have to pay a crooked penny."
"Then I might have a second patient for you, ma'am… But let's drive now." Toshiro leaned over to the sidecar and picked up a Stalhelm. "I hope you'll excuse this crude safety measure…"
"Call me Angela. And whatever, my hair can take everything."
"I see… Pardon my directness, but what is such a beautiful woman doing in a hospital practically in the countryside?"
"Heehee, I like you already. Well, after graduating med school in Roma, I'm an internist, pediatrician and dentist at the same time, I decided to get out of that stuffy town, and I landed here, where it's peaceful and quiet."
"And I like you already, heheh… Call me Toshiro. Saddle up, and let's go."
Halfway to the base, Toshiro reported to Mio through the transponder.
"Mio, get Yoshika before the infirmary and Erica somewhere nearby. And inform everyone that we'll have a guest."
"Will do." She responded.
"Yoshika?" Angela asked. "Is that my patient?"
"Yes. That will be your primary patient."
"Hmmm… You have a spark in your eye when talking about her, Toshiro…"
"I don't know what you're talking about…"
"Don't play dumb, it's obvious – you and that Yoshika are with each other."
"I hope you take medical secrecy seriously…"
"Like nothing in my life!"
"Good, because if what I tell you leaks, even to that receptionist or even you own mother, I will know it came from you."
"I promise, not a word from me! Now tell me!"
"Yes, we are with each other. She's my girlfriend, accepted by everyone in the unit, and my uncle. And foreshadowing your questions – you could probably learn something from her in 'these' matters."
"Incredible… How often do you do it?"
"Have some decency, woman…"
"I'm asking from a medical standpoint…" She pouted.
"Well, basically daily… But her period began yesterday so…"
"Awww... Poor you…"
"Wait, why am I even telling this to you?"
"A doctor is as good as a priest, don't you know?"
"Well… My contact with doctors is rather… infrequent… Not counting Yoshika, she's an aspiring doctor, and she possesses healing magic, which I might say, helped me out of a pinch many times."
"How cuuute… You've found love in these troubled times. I wish you good luck."
"Thank you… Oh, look, there's the base already."
"Wooow, nice pad… Must be a bitch to clean, heheh…"
"More than 80% of the castle is defunct, so we use the building around it mostly. The infirmary is in one of those."
"Actually good, less redundant work, you can all focus on defending this country."
"Exactly."
Toshiro drove into the hangar and parked the motorcycle where he found it. Shirley was waiting for him.
"Ho ho, Toshiro… You leave for half an hour and already reel a good-looking girl in? Hi, I'm Shirley."
"Angela, I'm a doctor."
"Ah, okay. Please look up Yoshika; she's the good spirit of our unit. Well, aside of Toshiro, heheh…"
"The Oath of Hippocrates binds me; I have to help a patient in need. Lead on, Toshiro."
"Of course, this way."
They went out of the hangar, and up the stairs.
"This base is beautiful…"
"But imagine what will happen when the grass grows to big, sheesh… I wouldn't want to be the sap that has to mow it all."
"Hahaha! Me neither!"
Toshiro led her to the dorm room, and to the infirmary. Mio and Yoshika were waiting for them before the door.
"Angela Terrazzini MD." She introduced herself before anyone spoke to her.
"Major Mio Sakamoto and this is Sergeant Miyafuji, the patient."
"Hi, Yoshika. Toshiro told me some good things about you."
"Wooow, a real doctor! Can I look into the bag?"
"After the examination, dearie."
"Why am I actually being examined?"
"Your physical is due by the end of the month." Mio lied swiftly.
"Oh, okay."
The four of them immediately entered the infirmary, and Toshiro sensed some presences inside.
Hmmm…
Angela took two stools, placed them near each other and said, "Take off the top of your swimsuit, or whatever you have under that uniform."
"Okay."
"Aaaah, wait a second, Toshiro is here…" Mio protested panicky. "Shouldn't he go out…"
"Don't worry, Maggiore, the cats out of the bag already. I won't tell a word to anyone, rest assured." Angela said with a disarming smile. "Are you undressing, or waiting for an invitation, Yoshika?"
"Ah, yes…" Yoshika hastened her moves a bit.
I'll be a spoilsport…
"Trude, Perrine, Lynne – crawl out of your holes, now." Toshiro said aloud.
The three looked weird at him, but Lynne and Perrine soon peeked over the only couch in the room, and Trude stumbled from behind a screen.
"Oh come on… I can take you two watching, but not a whole crowd… Shoo you voyeurs!" Angela shouted.
Her shout was super effective, because the peeping Toms immediately vacated the room.
"The humanity…" Angela muttered. "Ah, you're undressed already."
She plugged in the stethoscope in her ears, and placed the chestpiece just between Yoshika's budding breasts.
"Waaah, cold!" She shouted.
"Inhale and exhale slowly. You should know the drill, I heard you want to become a doctor, right?"
"Yes!"
After a few deep breaths, Angela pulled out the stethoscope out of her ear, and opened the bag. She pulled out a simple mercury sphygmomanometer. Yoshika pulled up the cuff on her arm herself and fastened it with a smile. Angela pumped up the cuff, and the mercury bar rose steadily. After stabilizing at one point for a few seconds, Angela released the air, and packed the sphygmomanometer. Then she pulled out a jar with disposable wooden spatulas. Without a word, Yoshika opened her mouth wide. Angela looked at her carefully, and quickly pulled out a small dentist mirror. After looking through Yoshika's throat and teeth, she said, "You're as fit as a fiddle, Yoshika. Lungs okay, blood pressure okay, throat normal, teeth in mint condition. Just one last test..." She said and pulled out a Snellen chart and positioned herself six meters away from Yoshika.
"Okay, now tell me which letter I'm pointing at."
She pointed to the first letter from the top.
"E." Yoshika responded
Now it was the center in the third row.
"O."
Second right in the fifth row.
"F."
Eight row, left most.
"D."
Angela raised her eyebrows, and pointed out the second most right letter from the bottom row.
"Uhhh… T!"
"Bravo, Yoshika. A 6/6 eyesight, or 20/20 in Imperial, actually even better. We can wrap this up now."
She rolled the chart and put it back in the bag.
"Yay! Heehee, I've never had a cold in my whole life to be honest…"
"How convenient… So, where's the second patient of mine, Toshiro?"
"Wait a second, I'll fetch her. Mio?"
"You mean Erica? I told her to be on standby in her room."
"Fetch her for me please."
"Whatever…" Mio sighed and went out.
"So… You two… Contraceptives or calendar?"
"Huh, what?" Yoshika asked totally surprised. "Toshiro!"
"I'm sorry, Yoshika, but it somehow slipped away…"
"Humph…" Yoshika pouted. "Calendar…" She mumbled.
"Be careful, you can make a mistake easily."
"Don't worry, Angela, we both know when it's safe." Toshiro said.
"Many said that…"
"This is different, but I won't go into details."
Angela sighed, but Erica was forcefully pushed into the room and the door closed behind her.
"Wah, a doctor!" She shouted.
"Oh, what do we have here? A patient?"
"Indeed." Toshiro confirmed. "You only need to check her biters."
"Ah, okay. Come closer… Erica?"
"Nope!"
"Oh please, don't be so fussy… Come here…."
"Nu-uh!"
"Erica…" Toshiro shot a grim look at her. "Double time."
She slowly scuttled to Toshiro's side.
"Yoshika, if you would be so kind to lift your cute posterior of the stool, so Erica would replace you?"
"Of course!"
Erica hesitantly took Yoshika's place. Angela took the mirror again and said, "Open wide."
The poor Erica opened her mouth as if it was not opened for ten years. Angela started examining her teeth.
"My my… Hmmm… Yes…"
"What is it?" Toshiro asked.
"She needs to go to the dentist, and that would be me preferably, and fix those teeth. Seriously, what a mess… I could do it in one visit, but I have to clear some space in my timetable. Three days from now I'll be free for a few days."
"A good time. Erica, you are going no matter what. And stop looking at me like you want to cry. It's partially my fault, because I bought you so many sweets."
Erica, with her mouth still wide open, really started crying.
"Awww, don't cry, Erica." Angela started patting her head. "I promise I won't hurt you. Bad teeth can cause a plethora of other ailments, even heart conditions. How would that look, if you'd kicked the bucket because of a rotting molar?"
Erica stopped shedding tears, closed her mouth and said, "You promise?"
"Yes."
"Well okay… I'll go then… But keep this under a lid; I don't want Trude bugging me…"
"I'm a doctor, I'm sworn to secrecy. It's up to Toshiro if this will be kept a secret."
"As much as I want to pick on you, Erica, I'll keep this under the carpet until day zero."
"Heehee, thanks, bro."
"Bro?" Angela tilted her head.
"Long story…" Toshiro sighed. "So anyway, looks like we're finished. I have to drive you back to Pescara, Angela."
"Okay. It was nice here."
The four of them exited the room, and they were immediately assaulted by Trude.
"Can Miyafuji fly?" She asked bluntly.
"I found no contradictions to that." Angela answered.
"Huh? What is this about?" Yoshika asked.
"I saw you failing miserably during the mock battle, Yoshika." Trude answered. "Your indisposition could impact the units' combat potential."
"So you all saw it…" Yoshika lowered her head. "I don't know what's happening… I feel like I could run a marathon, but my Striker is malfunctioning…"
"Bad news, Miyafuji. Your Striker is in immaculate condition." Mio said. "The problem lies within you."
"I say we ground Yoshika for now, until we get to the root of the problem." Trude said.
"I support that motion." Mio said.
"I have to agree with you two, but for now, Yoshika is grounded only unofficially. I have an idea, but I have to drive the good doctor back to Pescara. Perrrine, Lynne – take care of Yoshika for now, Mio, Trude – just don't make her feel worse until I return."
"Roger." The four answered.
"I'm sorry, Yoshika, but this has to be done. Go play with your friends, when I return, we'll try something, okay?"
"Kay…" Yoshika mumbled with a sad face.
As Toshiro and Angela exited the dorm, she said, "You sure care about your girlfriend…"
"Isn't it natural?"
"It is but… Aren't you a bit too overprotective?"
"The girls are used to me protecting Yoshika. But don't worry; I try to be reasonable. Everyone with an officer's rank is more experienced than me, so I don't want to stand out."
"I suppose its right to do so…"
They wandered up to the motorcycle, and Angela suddenly shouted, "Oh my, I didn't write you all the papers…"
"Can you do it in Pescara?"
"I can do it while we're riding, just avoid potholes heheh…"
The motorcycle stopped just before the hospital, in the same place as before.
"Here you go – a referral for Erica, and results of Yoshika's checkup, even if you don't really need it."
"Thank you, Angela. I hope we don't meet again, heheh…"
"I have a feeling you'll watch that Erica will arrive here personally, heehee."
"Oh I will! Have a nice day!"
"You too!" She said as she was walking to the entrance.
Toshiro folded the papers he got, hid them in a pocket and drove back to the base. The first thing that he did, was summon Yoshika through the PA panel. After waiting off a few minutes, she appeared, slightly gloomy.
"Yoshika, I have one thing to test – your magic control."
"My magic control?"
"You know, maybe you can't control your magic subconsciously or something, I just have to try it out."
"But how will you do that?"
"Well…" Toshiro took a few steps back. "By force!"
He was set ablaze by the Sacred Flame and rushed towards Yoshika.
"Put the best shield you can, Yoshika! Sekai Buntretsu!"
He flung his burning fist of fury towards Yoshika, who pulled up a shield in a split second. His fist slammed against it, and the recoil force threw him back a few meters.
"T-Toshiro, are you okay?!" Yoshika shouted as she ran up to him.
Toshiro coughed a few times and said, "Yeah… I had the feeling as if I hit a rubberized steel plate…"
"Stupid! You could hurt yourself!"
I could hurt you...
"Show me your hand!"
Yoshika didn't even wait, and took his hand by force, to which Toshiro hissed in pain.
"See? You hurt yourself…"
Yoshika's animal ears sprouted from her head, and she started healing his hand.
"So your healing magic also works… By the way, Yoshika, remember the Neuroi I split in half when we were reunited in March?"
"Yes?"
"I used the same punch. And you withstood it just like that with your shield. I'm proud of you."
"Aw shucks…" Yoshika blushed. "There, all good."
Her animal ears retracted, and the glow stopped. Toshiro moved his hand and said, "All good. At least on my end…"
"So if my magic works, and my Striker works, then why can't I fly?"
"I don't know… Ah, now I know! Jump into your Striker, but don't fly off."
"Okay…"
They walked up to her Launch Unit, and Yoshika jumped into her Zero.
"Start it up."
She nodded and the engines came on. The Striker worked flawlessly.
"Okay, hammer it!"
The twin Mitsubishi Kinsei 62 engines roared, but soon, they started sputtering. Toshiro showed Yoshika that she should slow down a bit, which she did. He concentrated on the engine sounds, just like he did with Shirley's Merlin back in Britannia. He showed Yoshika to rev up.
The engine works smooth… The ignition cycles are perfectly aligned… Wait, what was that clickety-clack noise before the engine started… I KNOW!
Toshiro gave a rather universal gesture meaning 'kill it'. He didn't wait for Yoshika, he just ran over and fetched some tools. He opened the hatch in one of the Striker Legs, and found what he was looking for – a small black box. He unscrewed the cover, and saw a series of automatic switches, and two vacuum-magic tubes.
"Toshiro… What is it?"
"There's a chance I can fix your inability to fly, rev up the Striker slowly."
"Okay!" Yoshika shouted all fired up.
Toshiro saw as the switches started realigning as Yoshika's Striker started gaining power. The first lamp started glowing intensely blue halfway, and soon the second one also gave off an eerie blue glow. Then suddenly, the switches started clicking chaotically, and the lamps started flickering as the engine sputtered.
Toshiro told Yoshika to kill it.
"So, what did you find out?"
"Well, I have good news and I have bad news…"
"Give me good news first."
"You magic became insanely powerful."
"And the bad news?"
"It's too powerful for your Striker to handle."
"What?"
"Hop out of the Striker, I'll show you."
She jump out and besides him.
"See this box? This is a Magic Limiter. It's in place, so the engines won't get damages when you use an excess amount of magic. Normally it would be dissipated through these vacuum tubes, but… Your magic just went over the chart…"
"So… I'm just too powerful for my own good?"
"It seems so…"
"Awwwww… And just a few months ago I could barely fly because of my lack of skill and control… Now I have the skills and control, but my Striker won't cooperate…"
"Yuki, can't Kuji somehow limit her magic?"
"And what would that accomplish? Gimping her magic would decrease her combat potential. What's the point of her being able to fly, if she can't fend for herself?"
"You're right… This leaves me no choice…"
"Yoshika… As much as it pains me to say this, you are now officially grounded until we can find a way to upgrade your Striker…"
"But… But can't you fix this? You are a genius! Use your brain! I can't… I can't be a deadweight…"
"I can't, Yoshika. I lack the precision tools to do this, and parts to do it. I would have to get high spec replacement parts. There isn't even a possibility to hotwire the damn thing, because there's a chance your Striker would literally explode…"
"But why can you fly then? Your magic is a league above mine!"
"My Striker's always were highly experimental prototypes, Yoshika. The parts were handmade and handpicked. You could say the build specs are a bit overkill, but I guess it's good that it's so… I never know if I don't power up too much…"
"Toshiro… Please, let me just run your Striker, I don't even have to fly it… I just must know…"
"Okay sweetie, jump inside…"
She jumped into the Wotan, and only looked at him dumbfounded.
"Wait a second, there's a special startup procedure for this one…"
Toshiro grabbed the FFG, and flipped the relevant switches, causing the Striker to heat up its engines.
"Wait a few seconds, Yoshika!"
She nodded back to him. After the allotted time passed, he shouted, "Okay, punch it!"
The Striker's engines started whistling in all their vacuumy goodness. The reading on the FFG were steady, without any hitches. Toshiro ordered Yoshika to stop after a minute. She looked sad as she dismounted the Striker. Before Toshiro could say anything, she ran up to him and hugged him.
"Oh Toshiro… I'm really deadweight now…" She sobbed a bit.
"Don't worry, Yoshika, I'll think about something. And you're really necessary here. You do the laundry, you cook our meals, and you clean our rooms… You underestimate your role here…"
"Heehee… Well, it's about time for me to start preparing dinner… I'll see you later, okay?"
"Okay, dearie. Don't get beat down too much. There's always a brighter tomorrow."
"With you, the future is always bright…" She kissed him on the cheek and went out of the hangar.
I suppose I have to report all of this to Minna…
Toshiro went to the office, and saw her drinking tea with Trude and Mio.
"A tea party without me? Shaaaaame…"
"You were out." Mio answered quickly.
"Come on, Toshiro, there's room and tea for you." Minna said and poured tea into an empty cup.
He sat beside her, and took a sip of the tea.
"Good tea as always, Minna."
"Thanks."
"So, Toshiro, about Yoshika…" Trude said.
"There's been a development in her case…"
"Oh? Tell us more!" Trude said excited.
"It appears that her magic became too strong for production Strikers. She needs something custom built or a Magic Limiter upgrade…"
"Ah, damn it to hell…" Mio muttered angrily. "Can't you do something about it?"
"Tampering with the Magic Limiter is like banging a 500 kg bomb with a hammer. You know that you can do it, but one false move and BOOM… I'd rather have Yoshika grounded than dead…"
"So you've decided for it?" Trude asked.
"Yes…" He sighed. "She'll be grounded until further notice…"
"Poor Yoshika…" Minna said. "I hope she doesn't get too depressed…"
"Hey, I was Striker-less for the first few days in Britannia, and for some time here, right? I'll pull her through this period somehow."
"Good to hear… You know what, I have something to veer your mind of Yoshika for now…"
"What could that be, Minna?"
"We should make a balance of our unit's funds to present to everyone. Something new for you probably."
"Yes, I didn't do that before… And I'm free so…"
"Umm, I have something to do so…" Trude stood up and tried to leave.
"Stop." Minna said. "You'll gather the relevant papers, and make copies of the final balance on the typewriter."
"But Minna…"
"No but's, Trude."
"Jawohl…" She sighed. "I'll start already…"
"Then I won't bother you." Mio said and walked out.
While Trude was still out, Toshiro presented Minna with Erica's referral.
"What's this, Toshiro? A dentist appointment for Erica? Hah! I knew it! Those sweets finally made their mark!"
"Sssshhh! I don't want Trude to know yet… She'll hammer poor Erica into the ground…"
"Oh, okay… You're right, she wouldn't back off now… Let's wait for her, and begin our work."
After Trude came with a stack of papers, they started the number crunching. Toshiro managed to finish just before Yoshika called them in for dinner.
"Let me see…" Minna mumbled. "Ooooh… We have a very nice balance! Are you sure it's correct?"
"One hundred percent." Trude said. "We triple checked."
"I think we can let loose a bit… Maybe buy the girls some frilly decorations or whatever they want…" Toshiro proposed.
"But not too much." Minna said firmly. "We will announce everything tomorrow."
"Why tomorrow?" Trude asked.
"Today may be too much for some of us…" Minna answered
She looked at Toshiro and said, "I understand… Let's eat then."
"I agree." Minna said. "Toshiro?"
"On it. Let's go."
Dinner was nothing special, both in terms of food, and conversation. Yoshika looked a bit down, but Lynne and Perrine tried their best to cheer her up. Before Toshiro could move out of the dining room, Shirley caught him.
"Hey, T-man, care to help me with something?"
"Is it car related?"
"Yup. I want to paint it!"
"And what color would it be?"
"Of course Racing Red! With spiffy white decals!"
"Oh well then, let's go, Shirley. Where's the paint and stuff?"
"All in the hangar already."
"Move on!"
"Yessir!"
The two moved on to the hangar, where the car was under tarpaulin, with a small mound besides it. Shirley unveiled the car and the mound, which turned out to be a stack of paint cans and brushes.
"Any experience with painting, Toshiro?"
"I had to paint ten Chi-Ha tanks in one afternoon, you can call me master…"
"Yeeeeees maaasteeer…" Shirley moaned with a twisted face expression.
"You don't look like Boris Karloff to me, heheh…"
"Haha! Then let's go!"
Shirley opened the paint cans. A foul stench was to be felt.
"Holy shit, Shirley… The paint I used didn't stink half so shitty…"
"Ah, well… Maybe that one had less thinner… Pfew… It really stinks… Come on, Toshiro, let's move it outside…"
They pushed the car outside, and started painting in a small breeze surrounding them. Despite Toshiro's proficiency with the brush and paint, they decided to do it slowly, resulting in finishing before supper.
"Let's roll it inside, so it won't get wet, just in case." Shirley said.
"Just don't touch the painted surfaces, heheh…"
"As if I'd…"
"Shirleeeeey, what's up!" Francesca shouted out of nowhere.
They immediately located her running from down the stairs like an out of control train. Shirley positioned herself before the car, and caught the mischievous Romagnan before she could do any harm.
"Oh, what gives? I just wanted to touch the car!"
"The paint is wet you ditz! It'll take a day to dry!"
"Oh… Heehee… That would have ended badly… Well anyway, Yoshika made supper, are you coming?"
"Yes, yes, we only have to roll the car inside. Actually, I can just drive it… Toshiro, could you take the paint cans and brushes?"
"Sure…"
"I'll help!" Francesca cheered.
"Be careful though, I managed not to stain my uniform."
"Yoshika taught me to concentrate while cooking, don't worry!"
Francesca careful took two cans of paint and slowly went in the direction of the hangar. Shirley started the car, and drove inside. Toshiro followed Francesca's lead, and after two minutes they were going for supper. Judging by the conversation flow, some of the girls still didn't know about Yoshika's problems. Toshiro decided to leave it at that.
When he was leaving for his room, wanting to read a book, Yoshika nabbed him.
"Hey, Toshiro…"
"Hmmm?"
"What will you be doing now?"
"Reading."
"Oh, okay. I won't interrupt you then."
"You can interrupt me any time of the day, heheh…"
"Oh you…" She gave him a weak elbow to the side.
Toshiro went to his room, and started reading, but something didn't feel right, so he descended to the hangar. Nothing abnormal could be seen. He checked the paint on the car – still a bit wet. But then, Yoshika entered the hangar with a broom. Toshiro acted quickly and cloaked himself.
A broom? Will she…
Yoshika mounted the broom, and started levitating. At first she did raise herself above the ground a bit, but she fell down. Toshiro hastily ran forward, still cloaked, to have a better view.
"Oooooh… Why can't I fly…" Yoshika sulked aloud. "And Kuji is limiting my magic too…"
"Kuji is limiting her magic? But I thought you…"
"Kuji is a sucker. He probably got the promise to see her in panties, and fulfilled her wish."
"Guhhh… But she still can't fly."
"She has to adapt to her new power, simple. Even if it's gimped."
Yoshika tried another round, but then, Sanya and Eila came from upstairs.
"Huh, Yoshika? What are you doing here all alone?"
"Wahhh!" Yoshika shouted scared. "N-nothing!"
"I knew an old lady from my village that was flying a broom, but she never did it after dark…"
"Hah… Has either of you ever become suddenly unable to fly?" Yoshika asked with a trembling voice.
"You're not able to fly?" Sanya asked.
"Is that true, Yoshika?" Eila asked.
"No, no… I can still fly but…"
"Sheesh, don't scare me, damn you…" Eila berated her. "I thought…"
Toshiro saw that Perrine was sneaking besides and past him.
"Who's there?!" Eila shouted and threw the bucket at Perrine, achieving a perfect headshot.
"What are you doing throwing a bucket at me?!" Perrine shouted furiously.
"You have a bump on your head." Sanya stated calmly
"Bahahahaha!" Eila laughed.
"It's all your fault!" Perrine shouted while swinging the empty bucket around.
Yoshika approached her, and started healing the lump on her noggin.
"Your magic seems okay." Sanya said.
"Ain't' that good, huh, Yoshika?" Eila asked.
"Stop treating my head as some kind of scientific experiment already!" Perrine pouted.
"Finished…" Yoshika mumbled.
"I think I know what you need, Yoshika." Eila said. "Sanya, get on your way, I want to massage Yoshika."
"Okay, Eila." The timid Orussian answered and went to her Striker.
"A massage?" Yoshika asked.
"You don't know what a good massage can do…" Eila said with a peculiar face expression.
"Oh, okay then… I won't throw away a free massage opportunity…" Yoshika said. "Good night, Perrine."
"Good night…"
A massage you say… Oh well, let her have it… Maybe Eila will give her a niceOHSHIT! If it's THAT massage, Yoshika's sexual orientation might be put to a test!
Toshiro started following the two, right up to the door of Eila's room. He could hear the muffled voices of both of them.
"So… Yoshika… Let's begin, okay?"
"Okay."
"Undress completely."
"Huh, why completely?"
"Because… It should relax you more!"
"Ah, you're the expert I suppose…"
After a moment, Yoshika said, "Now what?"
"Lay down on the bed."
"Okaay… Eila… Why are you also undressing?"
"It's a full contact massage, its necessary."
"Whatever…"
"Okay, Yoshika… Let's begin…"
"Hmm… This feels… Oh… OH! Eila! Where are you putting those fingers!?"
"Yoshika… I know you want it!" Eila shouted. "I will give you something another woman can bestow upon you!"
"Eila… Please…"
Judging by the sounds, Eila silenced Yoshika's mouth with her own.
"But Eila, what about Sanya…"
"What about her? As if anyone will notice…"
"Oh… Okay then… I'll stop resisting… Aaaaah!" Yoshika moaned.
"Yoshika, you can do the same to me…"
"I… I can?"
"Yes, please…"
"Okay…"
"Aaaaaaaaaah!" Eila moaned even louder than Yoshika. "Yeeees!"
Holy shit… My girlfriend is cheating on me with another girl! She's bisexual! I really don't know what to think about this…
"Oh Eila… This is as good as doing it with Toshiro!"
"I never had a man, so I don't know… But I'm flattered nonetheless!"
For fucks sake, end of the party!
Toshiro uncloaked himself and opened the door. The two, now in a nearly acrobatic and gravity defying position, didn't notice him obviously, so he went up to them and asked, "Can I join?"
"Yes pl… WAAAH! TOSHIRO!" Yoshika shrieked.
"Oh shit!" Eila concurred.
"Oh shit indeed! What's the meaning of this, Eila?"
"I… You know… Sort of…"
"I know you suck at lying… I followed you two here, but that doesn't explain your motive."
"It's because of Sanya…" She pouted.
"So Sanya doesn't give you the V, thus you seduced my poor Yoshika?"
"Uhhh…"
"Whatever… Yoshika, what's your excuse?"
"I couldn't contain myself… Sorry, it seems I'm sex addicted to you now…"
"Well, at least it's just another girl… But I didn't knew you swing that way, Yoshika…"
"I had these fantasies about Lynne in Britannia… You know… Me and her… Like just now…"
"I somehow figured it out… So now, how to punish you two… Eila, I'll just tell Sanya. You won't punch her V-card until never."
'No, please, don't! I'll do everything!" Eila shouted and grabbed Toshiro's belt.
"Hey, that's my man you're trying to bribe with your body! Shoo!" Yoshika protested.
"Sorry…"
"Ugh… Okay, I won't tell Sanya. You will do it on your own."
"Huh, what… But…"
"Better do this sooner than later…"
"Fine… I'll tell her… Someday…"
"You have twenty four hours. And as for you, my dear girlfriend… Your punishment is sleeping with me today."
"How is that a punishment?" Yoshika asked.
"The punishment is that you can't touch me for the whole night."
"Oh… Okay… I'll accept…"
"Both of you, make yourselves decent."
Toshiro waited until they dressed themselves, and grabbed Yoshika's arm.
"Good night, Eila. I hope you'll sleep with the conscience that Sanya might officially stop liking you…"
"Night…" She mumbled.
Toshiro and Yoshika went to his room in complete silence. Toshiro undressed himself, and fell on his bed.
"Yoshika, on the other side of the bed, now."
"Okay…"She mumbled and obeyed him. "Good night…"
"Good night."
It was quicker than he'd expected, because after two minutes, he felt Yoshika's warm hand on his hip, wandering to his strategic locations.
"Yoshikaaa… I told you what the punishment waAAAAAs…" Toshiro felt as his real-estate was grabbed.
"But I'm willing to apologize… Very… Very deeply…"
"How deep?" He asked.
Yoshika slid by to him and whispered, "Deeper than you've ever experienced."
"Then I humbly accept your apology."
