I'm on time! I didn't think I would, but I am! You should be proud of me.

"No snakes here!"

"Nothing over here!"

"I'm finding nothing!"

"Good," Cole said, walking down from the bridge. "Now we can come up with a great strategy to defeat the serpentine for good."

The Bounty's rocket boosters started up and the ship took off.

"And the other ninja," Alex added.

"Other ninja?" Kai questioned.

"Alex translated something on a wall about eight other ninja," Lloyd said. "We assumed our grandfather wrote it."

"If the First Spinjitzu Master wrote it, we must trust it is true," Wu said.

"Spinjitzu? Alex didn't you mention something like that before?" Donny asked.

Alex smiled. "Yeah... Then I realized that it doesn't work in your world."

"Pause," Kai said. "Can anyone tell us what's going on and why they're turtles?"

"It's complicated," Leo said. "In our dimension, there's this stuff call mutigin. We touched some of it and it turned us into humanoid turtles."

"Alex, why didn't you tell us about that or bring them here soon?" Zane asked.

"Uh, because humanoid reptiles aren't usually welcome here," Alex reminded them. "Example being the serpentine. Besides it isn't like I didn't tell at least one of you. Cole, Lloyd, and Nya all knew."

Kai rolled his eyes. "Okay, whatever."

"Katara, where do you live?" Nya asked from the wheel. "We can drop you off."

Katara looked down. She could tell them she lived at the orphanage, but being back in the city where no one liked her, she didn't really want that. "Uh... I don't really live anywhere," she lied. "You can just drop me off outside of the city."

Alex studied the girl for a moment. There was something in her voice... "Hey, do you by any chance know Jessica?" she asked.

Katara shook her head. "I said I don't live in the city."

"Oh, neither does she," Alex smiled. "She lives in a pond in the middle of the woods."

"A pond?" Zane questioned.

"She's a mermaid."

Everyone kinda just stared at Alex. "A mermaid?" Jay asked.

"Yep," Alex said. "She'd deny it to know end, but I know what I saw."

"I'm sure you are," Kai said under his breath.

They arrived outside of the city and the Bounty landed. Alex walked out to the upper deck with Katara. "Hey, I know this might sound crazy, but you could possibly be one of the ninja we're looking for," Alex said.

"Me?" Katara questioned. "I don't think so."

Alex shrugged. "I've been wrong before, that's why I said possibly. Not everyone in Ninjago has powers though. Those who do, they have them for a reason." She pulled out a piece of paper and a pen, writing something on the paper and handing it to Katara. "If you think you might wanna train, just to see if you're one of the eight ninja, call me."

Katara looked at the number for a moment before stuffing it in her pocket. "I'm glad you think I'm special but..."

"Just think about it."

Katara nodded and hopped off the Bounty. She looked back before heading into the woods.

"She shows potential," Wu said, walking over to Alex.

"Her powers are pretty cool too," Alex said, turning to her uncle. "I'm sure that if she's one of the ninja, she'll be back."

Wu nodded. "For now we should head into the city. We'll start our search for the other seven there."

Alex crossed her arms as she stared out into the city. "Us walking around isn't a great way to find anyone, but if we make it known we're looking for people with special powers... Well it'll be too many trying to just become a ninja."

"Then you guys should just split up and look around."

Alex and Wu both jumped a little, turning to see Misako.

"Mom, maybe a warning bell next time," Alex said. "But yeah, that's what we'll have to do."

"Alex!" Jay yelled, running down from the bridge. "Do you think we have enough money for Senrensareta? I have fifty, Nya and Kai each have a hundred, Cole has eighty, Dr. Julien is giving Zane about sixty and Lloyd..."

"Wu, Garmadon, and I will pull together to cover Alex and Lloyd," Misako said. "I think fifty each is enough."

"Four hundred ninety," Alex said. "I think that's enough. There's just one problem. I can't go."

"Why not?" Jay asked as the others came down to the upper deck.

"Uh, Senrensareta is a very fancy restraunt," Alex reminded him. "I don't own any dresses."

"You can borrow one of my old ones," Misako offered.

Alex took a step back and pulled some money from one of her hidden pockets. "I've got twenty... If you need me I'll be at McDonald's." She spun into her vortex, comin out in a pink tank top, denim jeans, and pink knew high boots. Her fore arms had detached sleeves covering them. She slipped the money in her jean pocket and hopped off the Bounty.

The ninja exchanged looks. "So..." Lloyd started. "Do I get the full hundred now?"

Did you meet one of the eight ninja? When will you meet another? Does Alex really own a dress or is she lying? What do you think the Turtles are doing right now? Why am I asking you questions I know you don't know the answers to?

I'm still accepting OCs!
