Wally's Dilemma Part 2

"What? What is it, Miss Wellington?" Wally asked, still feeling startled.

"You should really learn to pay attention in class a bit more!" Miss Wellington scolded Wally.

"Yes, Miss Wellington, of course, Miss Wellington," Wally sighed. "I understand, Miss Wellington."

A few hours later, Wally and his best friend, Butch Cassidy were shopping for birthday presents for Stephanie.

Butch & Wally were shopping in the clothing department of a department store.

"How about this cute looking baby blue shirt?" Butch asked Wally, holding up a women's shirt.

Wally looked at the baby blue t shirt.

"No, Butch, I don't think so," Wally disagreed with an exasperated sigh in his voice. "I'm going to get her something very special."

"Something special? Such as what?" Butch asked Wally.

Butch & Wally went straight to the toy department where Butch saw Wally purchasing a huge cinnamon brown teddy bear with a baby pink ribbon around its neck.

"Are you sure that Stephanie will like that? She is 15-years-old today!" Butch said to Wally.

"Since my mom & dad are divorced," Wally said to Butch. "and since I live with my dad and she lives with my mom, I'm giving her this teddy bear to hug while she's at home."

Now, Butch understood.

"So I see," Butch said kindly. "do what you have to do, Wally."
