It rained for a week nonstop, what was on short supply was now in abundance. Well, I should say too much of abundance. The water had gotten so high that the luxury hotel we were living in was starting to flood of all levels. At least Barber and Bea were able to build a boat big enough for the three of us including a special little one coming soon. All three of us floated away with food to last a month, a roof stable and strong enough to shelter us, and a somewhat comfortable place to sleep.

We were on that boat for a month and three weeks. Thankfully Bea didn't give birth in two weeks but her belly was still rapidly growing, this actually worried me because Bea didn't know when exactly the baby was coming plus food was becoming scarce. I was actually about to lose hope about the thought of finding dry land when…..

"Land! Land! I've found land!" screamed Barber excitingly as she spotted an island full of tropical trees that contain the possibility of fruit and other wild life. It surly beat eating crackers and ramen noodles. Once we were on land I was the first to kiss the beach, "I never thought I would love sand so much," I said to the earth. Bea and Barber joined me in the sand.

"This is perfect, all we need are bikinis and margaritas to go around," said Barber, "except for B, pregnant woman can't drink."

"Well after I give birth I would deficiently need a…" Beatrice went suddenly silent. "Oh god…ah-oh, it's happening," then she started to whimper in pain. The baby was coming! Barber and I helped Bea into the jungle were we found shade and a place for her to be comfortable. She was in labor for a full agonizing twelve hours into the night. Through the whole time she was blaming me the whole time, "You did this to me! Why did I agree to marry you? I am going to kill you after I'm done pushing this monster out of me! Goddamit I want some drugs!" and so on. I knew labor can go on for hours but I think it would have gone longer if Barber didn't find a small pool near by.

With special handling we took Bea to the pool three feet away but it must have felt like miles to her. Once we put her in the pool her mood and pain seem to ease a little. "Come be with me," said Bea, holding unto the hand that wasn't severed. I stripped and went into the pool with her were she held unto me. Her grim was firm but not so strong as she was in the jungle. When Bea told Barber to watch for possible danger out on the beach Bea kissed me, "I'm sorry of insulting you earlier."

"I think that's not your fault, after all you are going through a lot of pain."

"At least the pain has died down and….." Bea fell silent, at first I thought she was going to scream but she didn't. She pushed away from me breathing a little faster. At first I thought she might be having a panic attack but I didn't expect her to be moaning in a pleasurable manner. I personally wanted to say something but words failed me. At first I thought she was about to play with herself when she announced, "I feel the crown, she's almost there." Bea held on for dear life but in a different kind of way. Once she had her orgasm our daughter, Ariel was born into the water and swam up to the surface. We helped her into our arms looking down on her with joy that leaves you almost speechless

Seven years have happened on Siren Islands (after the birth of Ariel we discovered several islands nearby). People from everywhere came to the Islands to make home or as a place to rest until the next day. Eventually I saw Rebecca and Jet Girl again but this time as a married couple. As for the Rippers, they did not know it was me until I gave them my name (at first they wanted to kill me but eventually became friends afterward). Barber was declared Godmother if anything happened to Bea and I.

As for the both of us we live on a private of the Islands were I row to everyday after my day in office is done. I guess some things never change when it comes to politics but under a different issue this time. Everyday when I come home I'm always greeted by my little Ariel swimming up to the boat. "Daddy!" she'll squeal with joy, raising her arms to be picked up. Her tail is just like her mothers. Once I reached land I was greeted by my wife, Bea, and our three year old son, Leo. Just another wonderful day in paradise.

Author's Note- I hope you liked reading this story as much as I like writing it. If you liked the DF series I'm going to launch Demitri's Fantastique: Nicola, it will be a fanfic for Cat People. If you want to read stories before this one I've written Anastasia, Artemis, and Carys.
