"Jayme!"

"Yes?" She said in a sing-song voice, glancing over her shoulder at the flustered researcher.

"Don't tell anyone about that!"

"About what?"

He then lowered his voice, hissing at her. "About me smoking!"

"Jeez keep your pants on." She rolled her eyes, stopping in the small corridor. "If it means that much I won't tell anyone."

"Swear on your own life!"

"You are such a child," she said with a sigh, holding a hand against her forehead. "Yes oh mighty Gary, I swear over my own life I won't tell anyone."

"Good." He sighed in relief then grinned. "Oh mighty Gary?"

Once again she rolled her eyes as he pushed past her, heading into his own apartment. She had no problem marching in after him.

"Oh, hey Jayme!" May chirped at the pink haired girl, Jayme in turn blinked. May rolled her eyes but kept her usual smile. "Tracey invited me over."

"As usual," Gary teased, poking his tongue out at the pokemon watcher.

"Whatever."

"Seeing as you're all here, I better head back..." Jayme began, glancing back at the door. "Yeah, I'm gonna-"

"I'll be back in a minute," Gary interrupted, glancing at Tracey. "I'm gonna go grab a drink from the vending machine."

He raced out the door after that, Jayme quick behind. She then went back to her current apartment in a sheepish way, her hair in now tangled curls from the day before. "Hey, Misty?"

"Uh..." Jayme raised an eyebrow when she realised it was Ash who had replied, a small smirk forming on her face when she saw her redheaded friend sprawled across his chest. "What's all this about?"

"It's nothing!" Ash hissed quietly, not wanting to wake his best friend although his cheeks quickly turned red. "We were fighting over the bigger sofa and well... She just fell asleep on me...?"

"Right..." Jayme's smirk grew wider although she didn't question him further. "Can I wake her?"

"No!"

"Why n-"

"ASHHHHH!"

"GARY SHH!" Ash yelled, immediately waking Misty.

"What's with all the yelling...?" She yawned, cracking an eye open and yelping herself. "GAH! Ash why are you hugging me?!"

"I'm not...?" He squeaked, pushing her onto the floor.

"Ash!"

"GUYS SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO THIS!" Gary interrupted, thrusting a can of coke in front of everyone.

"What's so interesting about that?" Misty grumbled, rubbing her head and sitting up beside a still flustered Ash.

"Shut up and listen!" Gary then tipped can upside down, pouring the drink onto Misty's floor.

"GARY!" Gary shot her an apologetic look but shook the can, earning a blink from everyone in the room. "Hear that?!"

"Hear what, Mr hot shot?" Jayme sighed, a look of boredom crossing her face.

"I can hear something shaking!"

"Gary I'm pretty sure there's nothing inside that can you just emptied all over my floor."

"There is!" He insisted, suddenly ripping the can in half and cheering. "I told you!"

"I wanna see!" Jayme's eyes suddenly brightened up as she pushed Gary to the ground, snatching the bottom half of the can from him and peering in. "Ew!"

"Hey, let me see!" Gary pouted, glancing in and sticking his tongue out in disgust. "What the hell is that?!" He picked it out of the can and yelped, throwing it at Jayme.

"GARY OAK!"

"Hey, is that a thumb?" Ash suggested, pulling a face when he saw it got tangled in her hair. "Gross!"

"GARY GET IT OUT. NOW."

"I'm not touching it!"

"NOW."

-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-

"Gary, I would appreciate it if you took that thumb off my table."

"Shut it Misty, it's in a glass now."

"My glass." Misty sighed, narrowing her eyes at the researcher.

"Do us all a favour and just piss off already, Sonic," Jayme grumbled, shooting her own look at the spiky haired boy.

"Jeez, thanks!"

"Let's go Gary," Ash said dramatically, holding a hand against his heart as he glared at Misty. "It's obvious we aren't wanted."

"No one said you had to go," Misty said with a slight smirk when he froze.

"Of course you'd say that, eh Mist?" Gary teased, raising an eyebrow.

"Don't call her that!" Ash suddenly blurted, earning a roll of her eyes from Jayme.

"Not this again..." Misty sweat dropped, pushing both of them out the door by their heads.

"Guys." Jayme rolled her eyes, glancing up at her old redheaded friend.

"I know." Misty sighed with her own roll of her eyes. "Anyway, what was it you wanted me for earlier?"

"You mean before I walked in on you and Ash?" Jayme smirked, her redheaded friend pulled a face.

"That was nothing!"

"Yeah, okay."

"It was!"

"Fine. About earlier though... I was wondering if it's alright if my sister visits sometime tomorrow?" Jayme wondered with a sheepish smile.

"Yeah, I don't mind," Misty said with a shrug, "Ash, Brock and I were going out tomorrow anyway so..."

"Great!" Jayme exclaimed, grinning and immediately going onto her phone.
