Just like they had arranged, Misty, Ash and Brock left the building of apartments during the afternoon, leaving Jayme alone with Misty's apartment to spend some time with her sister. The trio had decided to go to a hockey game, mostly to destruct Brock from his recent break up with his ex, Suzy. The green haired beautician had left Brock for another man, an old friend Brock had been jealous of from the start of their relationship, he knew that the two were close. Although the relationship wasn't serious, the squinty eyed doctor couldn't help being miserable; he was head over heels for the girl.

"He's giving me such a headache," Misty hissed quietly to Ash, rolling her eyes as Brock dramatically stomped in front of them.

"Cut him some slack, Mist!" Ash shook his head, giving her a grin that made her heart flutter. "You should know what Brock's like by now."

"Yeah, I know he's a pain in the ass."

Ash chuckled at his best friend, leading her over to their seats where Brock already sat; munching on a hot dog.

"Cheer up, Brock, there's plenty of girls out there," Ash said, giving him a nudge. Brock in turn grunted something quietly, keeping his eyes on the players. Soon enough, he was yelling insults and orders at the players which was relief for both Ash and Misty, maybe this would help get Brock back to himself.

"Shoot it!" He suddenly yelled, jumping out of his seat. Before anyone knew, a sudden black object came flying towards the spiky haired mans face. After it hit he was doubled over in pain, clutching his mouth as Ash desperately tried to find the puck that hit him.

"How cool is this!" He cheered as he picked it up, grinning from ear to .

"Ash, stop being such a kid! Brock needs to go to the hospital!" Misty groaned, watching as Ash jumped around. He quickly stopped as she grabbed his ear, a pout forming on his face. "Fine, I'll get Gary to pick us up and bring us there."

Misty walked through the door of her apartment, raising an eyebrow when she saw a scowl on the pink haired girl than sat in her living room.

"Hey Jayme," she said as she closed the door, continuing to speak when she got no response. "How was it with your sister?"

Jayme still said nothing, Misty looked around awkwardly before speaking again. "Uh... Is everything alright...?"

"Is everything alright?" Jayme suddenly repeated in a high pitched voice, throwing Misty off guard. "Well, first," she began, holding up one finger. "According to my sister, everyone I know is getting married."

"Okaay..." Misty said unsurely, not knowing how this effected her friend. She shrugged it off, thinking she was probably still overwhelmed about leaving Virgil.

"Secondly," Jayme continued, holding up another finger, "they're either pregnant or getting promoted when I don't even have a job! So if that sounds like I'm okay then I'm okay, okay?!"

The redhead blinked, not knowing what to say. After clearing her throat, Misty spoke up once more. "Well I think you're doing what's best for you. You weren't happy in your relationship so you left and you're starting over again."

"What's so amazing about that? I gave up everything, for what? I know I didn't love him like I thought but it was so much easier being with him!"

"That's because you just left him, just you wait till you get a job you'll love and fall for the right guy..."

"And what if that doesn't happen?" Jayme pressed, narrowing her blue eyes.

"Okay, well... I don't like that question," Misty said with a sweat drop, playing with her bangs. Just as she said that, a normally perky brunette burst though the door, although she didn't look too happy. "Hey May," Misty greeted, groaning as she got no response. What else was going to go wrong this day? "What's wrong with you?"

"My date with Drew was horrible!" May huffed, plopping on the sofa next to the two girls./pre

Gary pulled up outside the ER, sighing when Brock quickly jumped out of the car. "Couldn't you guys have walked?" He asked, glancing in the rear view mirror as Ash un clipped his seatbelt.

"Nope," he simply replied, climbing out of the car. Gary shook his head, climbing out himself.

"I actually moved for you guys," he said pretended to wipe a tear from his eye. "Sundays are my lazy days."

"Such a shame," Ash said with a smirk, walking in to find Brock filling in some forms. He sat next to him, looking at the puck he still had in his hands before pretending to make it hit Brock in the face. Brock glared at his friend, causing him to stop and jump up to speak to the woman at the desk. "We've been here for ages now, how long is it gonna take? My friends face is bent!"

This however ended in the old woman at the desk to slide the shutter, cutting of their view of each other. Pouting, Ash sat next to Gary who was barely listening to Brock ramble on about Suzy. Ash rolled his eyes, glancing at Gary. "Can I get some painkillers or?"

"He's right," Gary said, loud enough for Brock to here. "All you done the whole car ride was talk about Suzy! Aren't you supposed to be getting over her?"

"It's just..." Brock mumbled, still his voice muffled as he held ice wrapped in tissue to his mouth. "Suzy was the first girl I've ever been with..."

"What, you mean the first girl you've had sex with?" Gary said with a laugh, Brock just glared at him.

"I mean she was my first girlfriend!" He suddenly blurted, causing Ash to burst out laughing.

"Everyone knows that, every other girl runs from you." He sniggered, wincing when Gary whacked his arm.

"Shut up!" Gary hissed, rubbing his temple. "I can't stick any more of his whining about Suzy never mind being alone forever!"
