Elijah walks up the drive way holding the child safely in his arms; he looked ahead of the house, which was pure white, with a small lantern above the front door and huge white pillars supporting the mansion.
He opens the door and walks in, he makes a left and walks into Klaus`s art studio room holding onto the little girl tightly. Elijah looks at Klaus, who was busy painting another painting, it was black and red; he noticed how Klaus was painting furiously, which means he is angry and frustrated.
Elijah clears his throat and Klaus turns towards him.
"Elijah what are you doing with that child" Klaus growls and point`s his paint brush at the little girl in Elijah`s arms.
"I found her all alone and shivering in an ally, I couldn`t leave her alone Klaus" Elijah explains
"Well she is not bloody staying here" Klaus smirks
"Too bad because she is Nik, in the morning I will ask her the simple questions" Elijah sighs
"I don`t care, she is not staying here" Elijah protest and wraps his free arm around the little girls back.
"Elijah she is not staying here and that is final" Klaus snaps
"Klaus just come over here and look at her, because for some strange reason and I have no idea why but I feel like I need to protect her" Elijah demands
Klaus lets out an annoyed sigh and stomps over to him, Klaus studies the little girl that was covered up by Elijah`s jacket, Klaus couldn`t help but gasp.
"I put that girl in the local hospital because she fainted" Klaus explains
"Please do not tell me you fed from her" Elijah begs
"No, she was in her togs dripping wet, she ran over to my and grabbed my leg but fainted, so I took her to the hospital" Klaus answers
"That settles it, she is staying here" Elijah smirks
Elijah walks out of Klaus`s studios and up the staircase that crossed over at every story of the mansion. He enters a spare bedroom and places the little girl on the bed; he put the covers over here and removed some hair off her face. This little girl almost looks like…nah that is impossible Elijah thinks to himself, he grabs his jacket and puts it back on and turns around to see Hayley leaning agents the door
"How long have you been standing there" Elijah wonders
"Long enough, why is she here" Hayley asks walking over to Elijah
"Because, she ran over to Klaus, in her togs dripping wet, he took her to the hospital and an hour ago I found her wondering the street`s alone" Elijah answers
"So when she wakes up you are going to ask her what has happened to her" Hayley jokes
"Precisely" Elijah says with a serious voice and walks out of the room.
Alyssa slowly opens her eyes and sits up and looks around the room, she has yet again woken up in a different room. She was starting to seriously think this was becoming a new hobby of hers, she climbed out of the covers and of the bed and made her way down the hall way and reached the staircase. She placed her hands on top of the railings and place her feet between the bars and looked down. She was at least three stories up of the main level; she got down and slowly walked down the stairs.
She could hear voices coming from a room, she slowly tip toes to the door and quietly as she can muster opens the door, she couldn`t hide her smile, for the two people who were in the room are her uncle Elijah and uncle Nik.
All of a sudden Klaus daggers Elijah, Alyssa quickly puts her hand over her move to stop herself from screaming no, she closes the door and starts crying, why did her uncle just dagger her uncle Elijah. The uncle Nik she knows would never do that to her uncle. But then again, this isn`t the New Orleans she knows, or even her family to be exact.
She walks down the hall way and into another room that had no door, she looks around; there was a large stainless steel fridge, an island bench, a large stove, a huge walk in pantry and a large kitchen table.
"This must be the kitchen" Alyssa mutters to herself.
She climbs up one of the bar stools that were in front of the island bench. She hears someone entre the kitchen, her eyes dart to the person, it was a girl who looked around twenty, she had brown hair and hazel eyes and was look straight into her own blue ocean eyes. She doesn`t know why but all of a sudden she hates this girl.
"Who are you" Hayley wonders
"I was just going to ask you the same thing" Alyssa mumbles and leans on her left arm.
Her stomach makes a large grumbling sound; she hasn't eaten anything since she had some ice-cream back at that house where she was originally supposed to be staying before the "accident". She immediately covers her arms over her stomach for it makes another grumbling sound.
"You must be hungry" Hayley smirks
Alyssa just nods and watches the girl walk over to the walk in pantry and brings out a cereal box and places the cereal in front of her, Alyssa grabbed the cereal box and turned it towards her, on the front cover was a kid eating a large bowl of cheerio's. She pulls a face and pushes the box away from her.
"No thanks I hate cheerio's and I would rather go hungry" Alyssa sighs and puts some locks of her side fridge behind her ear and looks around the room bored out of her brain and hungry.
"Ok fine, how about some toast with raspberry jam on it" Hayley suggests and walks into the walk in pantry
"Fine" Alyssa mutters and starts playing with her long sharp nails.
Alyssa sat on the couch in Klaus`s studio twiddling with her thumbs and casually looking around the room. To be honest she was a bit scared mainly because she keeps thinking that he will dagger her as well.
"Do you mind if I ask you a couple of questions" Klaus asks
"What kind of questions" Alyssa wonders
"Just some questions as to how you are right here in this room" Klaus points out
"Ok then" Alyssa mumbles
"First of all, what were you doing all alone in the French Quarter in your togs dripping went and fainting right in front of me" Klaus questions
"I was swimming and I came up to catch my breath but someone held me under the water by my head, I couldn`t breathe and was choking, I don`t know how but suddenly I was out of the water and running as fast as I can. I grabbed your leg because you were the closet person to me then a blacked out and woke up in hospital" Alyssa explains in a white lie, she could exactly tell Klaus the truth.
"Ok, what`s your name and hwere are your parents" Klaus demands
"My name is Alyssa and they didn`t make it" Alyssa whispers and looks down at her feet
She could feel him straying at her, but it wasn`t in a creepy way it was almost like he was sorry for her.
Klaus couldn`t help but stare at the little girl, he noticed how sad she was, to be honest she almost looked like Rebekah when she was little and was upset because their parents where fighting again and she didn`t understand why. She also has his sister`s ocean blue eyes, the little girl looks like a complete miniature version of his little sister, is this just a random coincidence or something?
"I`m sorry" Klaus sighs
"It`s fine, please let me stay here" Alyssa begs
She watches him get up and walk over to her; she gets up and backs away from him and into a random corner of the room that was closest to her.
"Are you ok" Klaus asks with a curious look.
"I saw what you did to that man, why did you kill him" Alyssa whimpers and looks straight up into her uncles eyes with fear.
"I didn`t kill him, I just helped him sleep, for you see he suffers from terrible nightmares and that was a special sleeping stick that will help him" Klaus lies
Alyssa doesn`t know what to say so she just nods and carefully steps closer towards him.
"Also, yes you can stay here till I find you a place to stay" Klaus chuckles
Alyssa smiles and runs over to him and hugs him, she was still cautious and a slight bit scared of him but at least she will be safe here.
Caroline opens her eyes and rolls over on the hard floor, she starts coughing for dirt and dust enters her mouth, she looks down at her clothes, she was covered in blood, but not just any blood, her blood.
She hears a door open and her eyes dart towards the door, a man with a white lab coat holding a black clip board and walks straight over to her.
"Let me out or else" Caroline snaps
"Or else what, little vampire" The man chuckles
"My husband will kill you and everyone you have met, just because you have laid a finger on me, so let me out" Caroline growls and bares her fangs
"Not gonna happen" The man smirks, he reaches into his jacket and pulls out a wooden bullet gun and fires three wooden bullets at Caroline.
Caroline lets out a loud scream of pain and tries to pull the bullets out of her body.
It`s late at night and Alyssa hears a car pulling up the drive of the mansion, she scrambles out of the bed and runs to the window and pulls the Curtin's wide open. Allowing the moons bright light shine on her new pyjamas, there were a onesie that had the deck of card symbols on them and a capital P that had a crown ontop of it. Her eyes dart to the car.
"Elijah if not answering is some clever way of getting me here, well then congratulations I am here and I am worried, now answer your phone before I kick open your bloody door" Rebekah snarls into the phone.
Alyssa could not help but put on a huge smile on her face, because on the drive way was her mother, who she has missed so much since she has been here. Her smile quickly fades because; her mother will still sadly not know who she is, heck right now, right here her mother doesn`t even know her own name.
She quietly makes her way to her door and opens it, she takes a step making the floor board's creek, and she quickly freezes and stands there for a minute, once she thinks the coast is clear she slowly makes her way to the staircase.
"KLAUS GET OUT HERE AND TELL ME WHAT YOU HAVE DONE WITH OUR BROTHER YOU NARCISSISTIC BACK STABBING WANKER" Rebekah yells.
Alyssa quickly covers her mouths and bites her bottom lip to stop herself from bursting out laughing, she slowly starts walking down the stairs and makes her way to the room where her mother, uncle and a random brunette woman was.
She stood at the door quietly and wondered how long it would take for them to notice her
"It would be fun to see what rules he comes up for you little sister" Klaus smirks
"What rules" Alyssa asks, whoops, oh well, they were going to find out she was standing there anyway.
The three adults in the room turned their heads towards Alyssa, for some strange reason she feels smaller than she already is.
"Who are you" Rebekah asks out of curiosity.
"Well Alyssa, we are playing a game where if you kill someone, you are automatically out of the game until we start the game again" Klaus explains completely ignoring Rebekah`s question.
"Can I play" Alyssa begs with her puppy eyes, apparently she can make someone almost cry when she uses her puppy eyes.
"No" The three adults all said at the same time.
Alyssa pouts and crosses her arms.
"Why not" Alyssa wonders
"Because you are supposed to be in bed" Klaus smirks
"But I am not tired" Alyssa snaps and stomps her foot onto the wooden floor boards making them creek slightly.
Klaus walks over to her and she takes a step back, he crouches down to her size.
"Oh really, well then please explain why you have dark purple bags under your eyes" Klaus wonders and traces the dark bags under her eyes.
"But...I`m not…tired" Alyssa says yawns and rubs her eyes.
"Come on let`s get you to bed" Klaus sighs.
She feels herself being picked up by him; she yawns and places her head in the crook of his neck.
"Oh and sister, do take a look around, you remember this place as well as I do" Klaus points out before walking out of the room and up the stairs to the room where Alyssa was in.
