I don't own Narnia. Just some characters! Please review! Sorry for the short chapter, wasn't much to put in here. 309 words!

Samuel tries to think positive about all the walking they've been doing since they arrived in Narnia.

(I'll probably be faster and have more stamina than most of the others. And it is good exercise.)

"Hey, Samuel."

He jumps slightly and sees Alan looking at him.

"What?"

"You okay? You're real quiet."

"Yeah. I'm just thinking."

"About what?"

"About the positive things about all of this walking we are doing."

"Oh."

Trent, Tamryn, and Cheyenne walk ahead of Samuel and Alan.

"Trent?"

"Yeah, Tamryn?"

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

Tamryn notices Trent messing with his arm.

"What happened to your arm?"

"Nothing. I didn't do anything to it."

"If nothing was wrong with it, you wouldn't be messing with it."

"Tamryn, I'm fine."

Tamryn sighs at the fact that Trent was lying to her face.

"Trent, I hate being lied to, but I also hate it when people shut me out."

"I agree," Cheyenne pipes in, "besides, it's not good to keep things bottled up."

"Neither of you know what I've been through, and I doubt you ever will."

"What are you talking about?" Tamryn asks.

Sighing, Trent rolls up his shirt and shows the girls his bandaged arm. The girls gasp.

"What happened to your arm?" Cheyenne asks.

"My father happened."

"What do you mean?"

"Let's just say we got into a fight, things got out of hand, and leave it at that."

"Trent, that's terrible," Tamryn exclaims.

"I know, but I'm fine. I can take care of myself."

"Trent, you can't always be alone."

"Cheyenne's right. Sometimes, it's okay to have someone there for you."

"That's why I have Landon."

"Are you sure you're alright?"

"Yes, Tamryn."

"Okay."

They walk for another two hours.
