No POV

Soon after Tori climbs into Jade's car, Jade pulls into the parking lot of S. Drew Records. Climbing out, Jade tells Tori to wait patiently as she walks into the building, an envelope packed with papers in hand. About a half hour later, she returns, her hair styled behind her in stylized ponytail, and her casual clothes gone.

Instead of jeans, t-shirt, and her combat boots, she's wearing heels and a dress that leaves some cleavage shown, her shoulders bare, a black dress going to just above her knees, a slit going up an inch and a half from the hem. Her make up has been touched up, purple eye shadow and lipstick drawing focus to her eyes and lips.

"That was quick." Tori says in a whisper as Jade enters the car.

"It was planned. The envelope actually held a small box instead of papers. The box held my make up and a brush. Bee helped me change as soon as I walked in to save time." Jade says with a smirk as she pulls out of the parking lot, heading towards dinner.

"Where are we going?" Tori asks, hiding a smirk at Jade's slight groan from Tori asking the same question she's asked multiple times on the way to S. Drew Records.

"Somewhere. To eat. And someplace after." Jade answers, driving towards a fancy restaurant Tori is unfamiliar with.

Staring at Jade, Tori keeps silent as Jade drives. Pulling into the parking lot of a new Italian restaurant, a new branch or Maestro's that opened up a few weeks ago around California.

"Don't worry. You won't have to sing to pay our meal this time." Jade jokes when Tori sees the Maestro's sign above the name of the restaurant.

"Hey, it was Robbie's fault." Tori says, following Jade into the restaurant as Jade locks the car doors.

"It didn't happen until you joined the team. Of course it was your fault." Jade jokes as they walk towards the main doors of the restaurant.

"I had nothing to do with that!" Tori yells, following Jade, glaring at the laughing woman.

"Reservations?" The maitre'd asks as Tori and Jade walk in.

"Under West." Jade says, hiding her laughter.

"Right this way." He says, waving Tori and Jade to follow him. Leading the two to a two-seat table towards the back of the restaurant, a private place hidden in shadows, only a few lights above giving enough illumination to see the menus and anyone within a few feet of the table clearly. "Anything to drink?" He asks, handing Tori and Jade a menu as they sit down.

"Red wine for me. There's a brand under Michael West. Give me a glass of that." Jade says quickly, opening the menu. "Same for her." She says, cutting off Tori before the half-Latina can say anything.

"Jade!" Tori whisper-yells as the maitr'd/waiter walks away while writing down the drink orders.

"Relax. It's okay to have a little wine every once in a while. You have some formula in the fridge anyway." Jade says, waving Tori's concern off.

"Not all of it is formula." Tori admits, blushing. "I'm trying to get Blake off of breast milk, but I don't want to do it suddenly." She says, hiding her face.

"Seriously? How much is breast milk?" Jade asks, smirking.

"The ones in the blue bottles. The white ones are the formula." Tori admits.

"Nice. Can I try some when we get home?" Jade asks, causing Tori to blush even more.

"No, you can not try some." Tori responds, looking back at Jade.

"I can always try some when we get home. I mean, you did tell me which are which." Jade says, smirking as the waiter returns with the glasses of wine.

"Your wine." He says, setting the glasses in front of Tori and Jade. "What would you like for dinner?" He asks, taking the little notebook out.

"Spaghetti and meatballs. Garlic bread as a side." Jade says, setting the menu aside. "Can I get a glass of water with two ice cubes?." She adds as the waiter writes down the order.

"Penne all'arrabbiata." Tori says, an Italian accent shining as she orders. "A glass of water and three ice cubes please?" She says, setting her menu on top of Jade's.

"Of course." The waiter says, grabbing the menus after writing down the order. "Your food will be out within a half hour." He says, walking away.

"How did you know how to pronounce your order?" Jade asks, stunned.

"My mother's half-Italian, half-Irish." Tori says, looking at Jade. "Trina and I grew up speaking Spanish and Italian since we were little." She says, taking a sip of her wine. "How come your dad has a bottle of wine here if this place just opened?" She asks, setting the glass down.

"My parents paid for this place, technically. One of their clients or something funded the place, and since the parentals helped the ones who funded it, the have their own table and a bottle of wine for when they come here." Jade says, smiling at Tori. "They don't come here too much, and they okayed me to use it if I come here. This table is theirs."

"I thought you weren't in contact with them?" Tori asks, giving Jade a confused look.

"We send e-mails a couple times a week. Even more now that I work with Bee. Apparently, she knows who they are and they keep trying to sign a deal or something with her." Jade says, rolling her eyes.

"You know why?" Tori asks.

"She didn't tell me. I never really asked." Jade says, setting her chin on her hands and setting her elbows on the table in front of her. "All she said is that they've been wanting to sign a contract with her for a few years now."

"Does she know your their daughter?" Tori asks, mirroring Jade's movements.

"She does now. They stopped by a couple days ago, saw me, and Bee asked questions when they said my name." Jade answers.

The two continue to talk as they wait for their food. A little over a half hour after the waiter left, he returns with their food, surprising Jade a bit with how close he was to the timing.

"Your dinner." He says, placing the food in front of the respective woman. "Will there be anything else?" He asks as he places the waters in front of both Tori and Jade.

"No, we're good." Jade says, looking at Tori.

"Very well." The waiter says, walking away.

The two girls eat their dinner in relative silence, the occasional conversation as they eat. A little over forty-five minutes later, after both girls finish their food and water, Jade takes her purse out to pay the bill, finishing the last of her wine as she sets awaits the bill.

"So, dinner's taken care of. What next?" Tori asks, sipping the last of her wine.

"Nozu is have an over 18 dance club night tonight." Jade says, taking the bill from the waiter to pay it.

"Hey, I just realized something." Tori says as Jade pays the bill and leaves some cash for a tip. "How come we weren't asked to show our I.D.'s? We're not twenty-one." She asks, standing up as Jade does.

"My parents. Remember? Because we share a last name, I don't get carded. You didn't because you were with me." Jade answers, grabbing her stuff.

"Okay. I guess I can understand that. Now, I thought you hated dance clubs?" Tori asks as they leave the building.

"I can do nice things for the people I care about." Jade says, leading Tori to the car. "And don't worry, one glass of wine won't do anything against my driving. I've been drinking wine at my parent's parties since I was sixteen. One glass is pretty much nothing." She says, assuring the other woman.

"I hope so. Because if you send me to the hospital or something, I'm giving my dad full permission to shoot you." Tori says, earning Jade to smirk.

"Sounds good to me. Besides, I wouldn't do that to Blake." Jade says, her tone changing from joking to serious. "I wouldn't risk him potentially losing his mother." She says, giving Tori a quick look as she drives. "It's a good thing you wore comfortable shoes. I've been to the dance night at Nozu once before with Paul. It gets kinda hectic." She says, going back to a slightly joking tone.

After a ten minute drive, they pull into the parking lot of Nozu, now a bit larger due to the success of the restaurant when it opened. Finding a parking spot after a few minutes because of how busy it is that night, they get out and head towards the main doors, Jade locking the door as they go.

Climbing out of the car, both woman walking towards the building as Jade locks the door. As they walk up to the double doors of Nozu, they hear the dance music.

"Is that a dance club remix of Britney Spears' 'Toxic'?" Jade asks with a sneer as they near the doors.

"Sounds like it." Tori says, shrugging her shoulders. "You really wanted to come here?" She asks, turning to face Jade.

"I regret it a bit, but it'll be worth it for you. And only you." Jade says, opening the door for Tori.

"Good. And you are dancing with me. At least once." Tori says, dragging Jade in with her.

"Oh, come on!" Jade says, a hint of a whine in her voice. "Isn't me just being here willingly enough?" She asks as Tori leads her to the table the gang used to us when they came here in school.

"Nope." Tori says, pushing Jade down onto a chair.

Ordering water, the two women sit and chat, Tori trying to make Jade dance with her, and Jade trying to stay in her seat.

Finally, soon after getting their glasses of ice water, Tori's able to get Jade out the the dance floor, somehow convincing her to dance on the stage.

After two dances, Tori smirking in pride at getting two dances out of Jade instead of one, they sit back down, enjoying each other's company and drinking their water.

"So, what do I get for two dances?" Jade asks, ordering a second glass of ice water.

"A kiss." Tori says, ordering a second as well.

"Two dances only gets a kiss? What about the rest of the day? A fancy dinner and dancing should get me something." Jade says, looking at Tori.

"Depends. What do you have in mind?" Tori asks, mouthing the music playing over the speakers.

"Well, I don't know. It was an amazing date, I'll give you that. The dinner was excellent, so that'll get you some make-out time." Tori says, earning an interested smile from Jade. "The dancing could get you some touchy-feely time." She adds, a glint in her eye that Jade doesn't recognize. "If the rest of the date goes well, who knows?" She says, standing up. "I'll be back. I need to use the rest room." She says, walking towards the hallway that leads to the restrooms.

Near ten minutes later, Tori returns, confused by the slight glare from Jade as she sits down. "What?" She asks, sitting down.

"What took you so long? It doesn't take ten minutes for you to use the restroom, especially if it's so close to the tables." Jade says, not looking away from Tori.

"I was touching up my make up and perfume." Tori says, staring at Jade. "And I was changing." She finishes, looking away with a blush.

"You're still dressed in the same clothes. What did you change? And what happened exactly in the restroom?" Jade asks, confused by the blush on Tori's cheeks.

"All I did was go pee, if you must know." Tori says, and her blush increasing. "After washing my hands, I touched up my make up and perfume, then took a couple things off." She says, not looking at Jade.

"What did you take off?" Jade asks, now more curious than jealous.

"My bra and panties." Tori mumbles, keeping her gaze away from Jade.

"Well well." Jade says, smirking. "Isn't this an interesting turn of events." She adds as the waiter finally returns with the water. "Interesting indeed."

Thank you for reading. Next chapter most likely won't take place where this left off. Maybe a few days after this one.

Since I finished writing all the chapters for this fic, I'll be updating Tuesdays and Fridays, same as Try To Forget.

See you all next time.

Blessed Be.
