Chapter XXIX

After the meerkat said this, it took over ten minutes for the sudden eruption of outrage and shock from the others to die down. Even with everything that had happened that morning already, both the good and the bad, none of the six Pride Landers could believe for the life of them that Timon would ever suggest seeing the followup review to what they had just saw. They each protested it with all their might, their shouts echoing to the outside. Timon tried to insist that Confused Matthew's review of the second film was a lot better than the first (hence why he suggested it), but none of them would hear it.

"I can't believe you'd even want to try that, Timon!" Nala said at one point.

When the yelling and indignation from Simba and the others finished, Timon stood in front of the laptop and took a deep breath.

"All right... guess I set myself up for that one, then." He admitted.

Following a brief moment of silence, Vitani sat back down in her spot next to Kopa. She said to the meerkat, "You've set yourself up for a lot of things recently, Timon."

The meerkat could tell that the outrage within her voice was still dying down somewhat, and he watched her lazily throw her head onto Kopa's mane for comfort. She groaned softly as she did so.

"Well that was one hell of a way to start the day, huh Kopa?" She said looking up to him. The lion nodded.

"Yeah, I'm just going to feel so refreshed later on thanks to that." Kopa replied sarcastically. His mate smiled. From across the den, Kiara and Kovu were especially displeased by Timon's suggestion. Shaking his head, Kovu said to Kiara "How does anyone even think about saying that? Haven't we gone through enough with the first review?"

Kiara was about to say something different in response, but immediately she stopped. Her mouth opened and she gasped in sudden realization of something. Kovu cocked his eyebrow.

"What?... what is it?" He asked her curiously.

As soon as he did, a very devious and impish smile grew upon Kiara's face. She narrowed her eyes at Kovu, and before the lion was about to say something, she leaned in closer to him.

"You know what? I think we've waited long enough now." She whispered. Kovu was officially confused now, as indicated by his look right then.

"What? W-waited? For what?" He asked her softly. Simba and Nala took notice of Kiara's whispering and they too looked at her curiously right then.

Kiara continued as quietly as she could, "Remember the plan? About showing Timon the 'you know what'?"

Then, Kovu's mouth opened in realization as he inhaled sharply. He too grew a devious smile as he then faced his mate more directly. He said, "Ooh, I get it... After what he just tried to pull..."

He quickly looked over to Pumbaa. "Hey Pumbaa!" He said, which got his attention rather abruptly. Not waiting for the warthog to say anything, Kovu continued, "Um... listen, since Timon just showed us something, what do you say we show him something now too?"

Kovu winked at him suspiciously. At first the warthog was confused, but then after thinking about it for a moment he perked up. Pumbaa remembered Kiara's plan. In the moments that followed, Simba and Nala also remembered what they were to do, indicated by their brief gasps. Both of them smiled excitedly as they stood up and took a few steps closer to the laptop. Timon gave them a blank stare.

"Show me something?" he questioned, turning to Kovu. "What could you possibly have to show me, kid? You don't know your way around the internet, you don't know what else your fan base could do!... Or has done!"

Kovu smiled suspiciously, and now Pumbaa winked back at him just fast enough so that Timon wouldn't see. Kovu said to the meerkat, "Oh uh, that's right Timon! We forgot to tell you, Pumbaa found something while you and I were gone at the Water Hole."

Now it was Kopa and Vitani's turn to be confused. Kopa stood up. "What? You did?" The prince asked. "You mean when the hyenas were here?"

Kovu nodded. "Yeah. Actually, it kind of involves one of them."

Here, Simba decided to make his move. "Pumbaa, why don't we show Timon what we found about him?"

"If it involves me getting it on with any of you, I'm not interested." The meerkat said suddenly with a hint of fear in his voice. But Simba shook his head.

"Oh no, Timon. This doesn't involve any of us here." He said with just a bit of a suspicious tone. But unwisely enough, Timon ignored this as he sighed to himself. Pumbaa stood up from behind the laptop and walked around it, coming up to the keyboard.

"Pumbaa, do you know what they want to show me?" Timon asked. Pumbaa shook his head.

"No, not a clue, Timon." He lied.

Here, Simba went over to Kiara. It took just about everything the king had not to start bursting out in excited laughter. Kiara and Simba looked at each other for a moment before Simba leaned into his daughter to whisper in her ear.

"It's working, Kiara! He doesn't suspect a thing!"

The lioness chuckled to herself, holding back her more intense laughter. Kovu did the same. "He's had this coming for four days now." Kiara replied.

"Sheesh, it's only been that long?" Kovu decided to add softly as he raised an eyebrow. "It feels like it's been over a week with everything we saw."

"I don't blame you." Kiara said nodding.

As Timon watched this go down, he grew annoyed. He took a step forth and said to Simba, "All right, what's with all the whispering you three? It's creeping me out now."

Simba opened his mouth to say something, but Nala said it before her mate could.

"Just talking about something we were thinking of doing, Timon. Something we've wanted to do for a while now."

If Simba's tone wasn't suspicious, hers definitely was. As Timon stood there looking nothing short of perplexed now, Pumbaa took the liberty of sitting down in front of the keyboard and preparing himself to enact what he and the others had been planning. This time, he didn't type anything in. Timon turned around.

"Pumbaa, you know what they're doing?" He asked.

Here Kopa decided to add in a genuinely confused tone, "Yeah guys, what is going on here?"

Simba and Nala looked over to their son with some recognition. It wasn't until then that they realized Kopa and Vitani were the only ones besides Timon who had not been told about the plan yet. So Simba turned around to face them both and he smiled deviously.

"Oh uh, we just found something Timon might find... well... interesting."

Simba winked to Kopa, which seemed to be enough for them to realize they were up to something. Kopa looked over to Vitani.

"Why do I get the feeling that I'm going to like where this is going?" He asked her.

With that, Timon turned back around and faced the laptop's screen, waiting for something to happen. Loosening up slightly and naively assuming nothing was going on at all, he simply stepped in front of the laptop screen which prompted Pumbaa to scoot over. He sat back down and folded his arms.

"All right, what've you got guys?" He asked tiredly.

Simba smirked suspiciously again, moving closer to Kiara and Kovu. He looked over and motioned Nala to do the same. Here, they all visibly held back laughter.

"Oh, something I think you're definitely going to have a thing or two to say about, Timon." Kiara said slyly.

And with that at last, Pumbaa had finally made his move: He moved the mouse over to the same exact closed tab he had been keeping hidden for so long now, and he clicked it. While he did, Timon started to ask,

"So uh, how long's this gonna take? Cause I've got a lot more stuff you guys'd probably want to-"

But he never got to finish that sentence. For now upon the screen, Pumbaa had pulled up the very same material that he, Kiara, Kovu, Simba, and Nala had all conspired to expose to Timon once the time was right. And after waiting for so long, it had just been finally revealed to his eyes.

The Timon/Shenzi art.

Immediately, Timon's eyes shot as wide open as they could physically go. Then his mouth fell open as far as his jaw muscles would allow. In fact, if physics were to allow it, his jaw would've dropped to the floor in horror. There upon the screen, Timon saw art depictions of himself and the hyena Shenzi doing things that he would never have realistically done with her. Most of them involved an anthro Shenzi taking Timon against his will and doing... exactly what one would expect by this point.

Timon was nothing short of horrified. He quivered with shock, gasped in horror, and twitched his eye in mortification.

Immediately, the eruption of laughter could no longer be contained. Kiara burst out into it first, followed by Kovu, then Simba, and finally Nala. It loudly echoed through the cave as they watched Timon stand up and had his whole body shake with heart-stricken horror. He tried to scream, but no sound came out at all.

"Finally!" Simba said as he fell to the ground in laughter. "We've got you! After four days of torture we freaking got you!"

Timon was too petrified to even react now. His eyes stopped blinking when he saw depictions of Shenzi doing incredibly amorous things to him in the art. He took a step back.

"Hey, we said it'd be interesting!" Nala said in between laughs.

From the other side of the den, Kopa and Vitani looked upon the laptop screen rather intently. Initially they cringed with sudden horror at it, and Kopa was about to shout in protest about suddenly bringing the dirty art back up. But after seeing Timon's paralyzed state right then, they both eased up and smiled. They figured out what was going on now.

"Holy crap... I... I get it now!" Vitani said with excitement rising in her voice. "This is payback!"

"You've got that right, Vitani!" Kiara called to her sister-in-law. Vitani's mouth fell open in realization, and Kopa simply started to laugh hysterically. In that whole scene right there, it was as if the very hyena the art was depicting had returned with the way they were laughing.

And then, there came upon them the true heart of their little 'revenge': Timon started to lose his balance as he stood in that spot in front of the keyboard, wobbling around for a bit. He tried continuously to say something, but the dirty art about Shenzi and himself right there had practically numbed his brain in terror. His eyelids started to feel heavy to him, and within seconds he fell to the ground. He was out cold.

Kiara and Kovu both walked over to him now and looked upon him with satisfaction apparant on their faces. They had done it at last. After having been tricked by him before and having been shown the horrors of the dirty art of themselves thanks to him, Timon had finally gotten a taste of his own medicine. Their plan had worked.

"Boy, he's had that coming for a while, then!" Kopa said coming over to Timon's now unconscious body. Vitani followed.

"Were you guys planning that this whole time?" The lioness asked them. It took a moment for the hysterical laughter to die down before she got a response. Simba replied to her,

"Yeah, we were. It was Kiara's idea."

Kopa and Vitani both turned to Kiara with smug happiness apparent on their faces now. "You came up with that?"

The lioness nodded. "Well, when the hyenas were here I remembered that Timon once actually proposed to one of them. If our other fans are anything to go by, I figured there had to be someone wiling to take that too far."

"Which I can see they did..." Vitani said looking at the art on the laptop screen. She subtly cringed at its graphic nature. "Geeze, that is disgusting."

"Haven't seen anything like that in a while." Kopa said.

"And from here on out, let's keep it that way." Kiara added.

Simba, having finally let his joyous laughter die down, took a deep breath and went over to Timon. His expression grew a bit more serious now.

"How's Timon?" He asked himself softly, which got Kiara's attention.

"All right, it he okay?" Kiara then asked with some concern for her friend, watching as her father placed his paw upon Timon's unconscious body. He kept it like that for several seconds.

"Is he gonna be all right?" Kopa asked with the seriousness returning to his voice.

Simba pressed his paw up against Timon's body for a bit before he turned to Kiara. SIlence fell upon them for a bit before Simba broke it.

"Well he's still breathing... he's going to be all right." Simba replied to his daughter.

"Mission accomplished, then." She said.

Here Simba, Kiara and a few of the others gave off some joyous cheers at their apparent success from the plan. After all the horrors he had shown them, the small revenge against Timon had finally been gotten. They all acclaimed the well deserved success, especially now that they knew Timon was going to be all right. At least physically, that is.

"He's certainly going to have a thing or two to say when he wakes up then." Nala commented.

"Oh don't worry, Nala. I'm sure we'll cross that river when we get to it." Kovu said back to her.

Simba placed his paw upon Kiara's back, looking upon her warmly. "Good thinking with the plan, Kiara." He said. The lioness chuckled. "He deserved it."

"Yeah," She started. "After he tricked us with the art about you and mother, I knew we couldn't let that go. I figured we had to do something to get back at him, but I didn't want to actually hurt him. This seemed pretty fitting."

"And it worked." Simba said.

"Hey, guess you were right, dad." Kopa said glancing at Timon. "He definitely found that... interesting."

Simba chuckled. Following this, all six of them looked down at Timon who was still laying on the ground completely motionless except for his breathing. They all took a moment to recover and calm down. Then, Simba took the liberty of carefully lifting Timon up with his paw and walking back to the back of the den with the others watching. He treaded back to the rear side of the place, and taking a deep breath Simba gently placed his friend in a more comfortable position against a rock, where his breathing became more steady.

"What do you think he's going to say when he wakes up?" Vitani asked the king.

"Yeah, he's probably gonna be pissed that we did that." Kovu agreed. To this, Simba turned around and faced the other five. He smiled earnestly.

He thought for a moment before he replied, "Well it's in the past now. When he wakes up, we'll tell him... Hakuna Matata."

Author's Note: I'm sorry about not getting this out sooner. And I apologize if the quality of this chapter is different than usual, I tried all I could to make it longer. Sorry about the short length, the next one will be longer. Like I mentioned before I'm on a lot of sleep-inducing pain killers for my teeth since I'm getting my braces in three days, and I was admittedly drowsy when I wrote this because of that. But regardless, I hope you enjoy, and please review!
